It's 12:01- he's offically 18....pity the finals of the Europeans were earlier today- he won and there are some GREAT pics from the event- his speedo slipped underwater- saw some butt ...He regularly posts pics on twitter/facebook, so there will more than likely be plenty to post starting today!!!!

Apart from being stuck at Amsterdam this morning, it's been quite an eventful 18th. He's the European Champion again, his autobiography is out today, AND the guys at 'This Morning' gave Tom a birthday cake.

Over here in the UK his 'I'm Sexy and I Know It' parody video caused a bit of controversy amongst the sporting snobs who thought he should be spending his time concentrating on his career - not dancing around on a beach. The guy was 17 for God's sake - it's what they do at that age - have fun!

He comes off a little swishy, but hasn't admitted anything-yet, even after changing schools because of bullying- in his book he said it was all anti diving/fame bullying....even str8 kids have anti gay slurs thrown at them, because bullies know- gay=fear/etc...Lord B- do you know if any of the bullying was actually anti gay? The 'sporting snobs' i.e. one of his coaches, began slamming him for wasting time doing teenaged stuff/not training serious or hard enough- mainly because his results were sub par at his first 2 events, since then- he's won the world cup series, won the Europeans and taken silver at 3 other events- eventhough he never beat either of his Chinese rivals....he looks on track for a medal silver or bronze in the 10 metre and he and synchro partner are also medal favorites in that event....Qui Bo has to falter for Tom to get gold- but in diving- that's VERY possible...AND...Tom's been getting better with each competition.

on radio one interview, Chris Moyles asked if any of the divers are gay- Tom says 'not on the British team', then they talk about Matt Mitcham briefly...first time I've ever heard him say- sort of, he's not gay.

Unfortunatley I wasn't there at the same time as Tom was so I don't know more than what the official word is. Though to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if it was anti-gay bullying; not because I think he's gay, but because that's just what kids use to bully each other these days.

Though I did see him down the chinese yesterday with his younger brother who apparently knows me, so Tom Dailey might now know my name, getting even more famous

I think that's a bit of a rude question to ask an 18 year old in public. I hear Moyles is known for homophobia and saying any stupid, embarrassing to get a laugh.

Interviewers were asking similarly intrusive questions to Ian Thorpe in his pre-pubescent years and I suspect public grilling like that would drive a sensitive kid further into the closet.

I didn't get it when everyone was into him a few years ago, but he's certainly grown up into quite a little sex-pot Seems nice and grounded too, and while I don't like to speculate about other peoples sexuality much, I think it's hard to deny that he may be gay.

the gay question came out of a turn the interview took- they were talking about the 'Sexy and I know it' spoof Tom did with a few teammates, one of the DJ's staff- a gay guy, chimed in that he liked Chris Mears...they began to talk about if the staff guy could 'get' Chris, they asked Tom if he was gay, Tom said 'no one on the British team is gay', then they brought up out Aussie diver, Matt Mitcham- the staff guy knew of him, but host Moyles- once he heard Mitcham was gay, snidely said- 'I hope he loses..' But quickly backtracked, 'Because I want Tom to WIN! Don't need to start that up again!' Referring probably to the homophobia claims brought against him.

At first glance, I couldn't decide if the waxwork was him or Dan Radcliffe. I suppose it is more like Dan, but Tussauds is a funny place: some figures are remarkably accurate, but some are awful - including that Radcliffe, I'm afraid. The latest one of the Queen is excellent, but others are strangely bad.
The Daley book is a good read. Many of the photos have been seen before, but the quality is good (it's jolly heavy!).

Thanks, i have done a bit of refining since- the trunks darkening as the waist bands a bit bright, a tad more blur around the edges and ive darkened his stomach hair slightly to give it a slightly sexier look! Slightly pre cummed my pants doing it but thats life!
