A bright Star has passed into the sky. My Partner, Jayhew died yesterday morning (1/29/08 ) of a heart attack at his home.

He will be missed by the many whose lives he touched. He so loved the multitude of members here on JUB.

Dear Jub Friend.
I'm sorry to say that I've never known you or partner Jayhew through JUB.
It is sad for me to hear though that your friend/partner has passed.
That happened to me a few years ago, and while I don't mean to compare your loss to mine I do understand a bit about how you must feel about this. There is nothing I can say to make your loss less hurtful. I wish I could do so. I wish it so much. A good friend is hard to replace, and a partner even more so. I hope you have people around you that can offer support and love at this time my friend.

I have just realise that JayHew sent me a message when I posted the HIV/AIDS FAQ over at Empty Closet (at the request of Paul_UK).

JayHew will be missed by all at JUB and EC.

Dan...I don't know what to say...I imagine you knew that he had helped us enormously at EmptyClosets. He was a great guy, a very good friend to all of us who worked with him there - and an invaluable asset to the site. He has helped a LOT of the people there who have been struggling with their sexuality and their own self worth.

Please accept my sincere condolences - the world really has lost one of it's good guys. My heart goes out to you and his other loved ones. I feel in shock myself...

I am truly shocked and dismayed to hear this. Jayhew renewed my Supporter Status. He said it didn't seem right that I'd lost it.

I am SO sorry Dan. He was gracious and supportive and I've lost a friend.

Very sad news about your Jayhew. I never had contact with him, but I was aware that he was very good at giving advice and being there. I send my condolences to everybody affected, and my wishes for all those involved to be able to deal with this loss in whatever way works for the best.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news about the sudden death of Jayhew Although I didn't have much contact with him, I loved his posts and his laid back attitude when he shared his knowledge and wisdom. It always hits the wrong people I feel with you, your friends and families in this difficult time, and I will hold him in my thoughts.

This is such a shock coming so soon after Shaun. As has been said already, Jerry was one of the good guys, and his passing is an awful loss to our community. I hope you can take comfort in the knowledge that he was loved and respected by many whose lives he touched, and that through his generous advice and support, he will live on in our hearts and minds for years to come.

There is indeed, one more star in the night sky watching over us. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your loved ones, and those close to you.
