Well on teen tv shows in America they seem to like to keep the body hair to a minimum on heartthrobs. If you notice the werewolves on Teen Wolf are not hairy at all. I think unfortunately its up to the studio on the shaving of the chest/ab hair not Tyler. Also if you see Tyler in shorts he has hairy legs and they don't seem to care about doing away with that.
