channing looks amazing.... he hasn't looked this good in a while (in my opinion).

Okay... someone deliver this movie to my room. And then leave. For like a week.
Alex has a huge dick
I don't know why people think this is gonna be stupid and campy...it's a Steven Soderbergh directed movie. He's directed/produced some great films, I doubt he would all of a sudden just make a corny, stripper movie, I'm sure there will be other elements to the movie then just the dance routines they do.
For CHrist's sake, this is a move about Channing Tatum's former life as a male stripper. Who gives a fuck?
I've been to a million gay strip clubs and have seen tons of guys WAAAAAY hotter than anyone cast in this movie...
I guess I'm just not like a lot of saps on this board who develop school girl crushes on attractive male Celebrities... I mean, I may lust after a number of hot celebs just like anyone else..but Im not going to sit here and lie to myself and say that this is going to be an awesome movie just because the guys are hot... awesome movies have to do with awesome acting, aweseome special effects, awesome directors, etc, not with how hot the cast members are.. and for the record they are hot but not hotter than a lot of strippers Ive seen in person...
Lets imagine this for example: lets say that its been confirmed that there's a hot gay naked love scene in this flic between channing and whomever else you want. but you have to choose between seeing the movie or going to a strip club and getting a lap dance from some hot go go boy. I would pic the lap dance any day of the week..
I don't get the idea behind it either... The only reason I would see the movie is for the hot guys..... And because I have a thing for Channing.
This film may have the best intentions, but at the end of the day, no one is going to take it seriously. No one takes movies about female strippers seriously, let a movie about a bunch of male strippers in g-strings triumphing over adversity.
I think people are saying this is gonna be an awesome movie but truly mean that it will be an ENJOYABLE movie. Cause, lets be real - this ain't exactly Shakespeare.
I wish Zac Efron would have joined the cast.
Channing Tatum is just one of the many sexy stars stripping down in this summer's Magic Mike, but given his past as an exotic dancer, the actor didn't need much advice from wife of two years Jenna Dewan.
"I didn't show him any routines, but I would definitely watch his and give my critiques and suggestions," Dewan, who met Tatum while shooting Step Up in 2006, told Us Weekly at the Haywire premiere in L.A. Wednesday.
"He's amazing. He's a great stripper!" the 31-year-old actress added. "I should ask for more [private dances]."
Magic Mike, which also stars Alex Pettyfer, 21, Matthew McConaughey, 42, Joe Manganiello, 35, and Matt Bomer, 34, has "enough male skin in this to make up for a century of discrepancy," director Steven Soderbergh told Us.
"It's really fun. They are worse than women," Soderbergh, 48, added. "They made sure that when they showed up, they looked amazing. They were all competitive. It was hilarious. But they looked great."

Done right, this could be as interesting as "Boogie Nights" or perhaps it'll go for the same crowd who went along with "The Full Monty". It's an interesting career choice for the actors.
I don't think the movie seems very deep and it just seems like beefcake. I doubt there will be nudity also and I bet it will have a cheesy heterosexual love plot.
Thank you! I can easily go to Swinging Richards in Atlanta or Miami to see some way hot nude men in real action. If this movie doesn't have an actual plot and I am going to be researching to see soon as they issue a release date, and if it doesn't then NOPE! I don't waste my funds on silliness when I can get better elsewhere because I think the main cast is good looking (and Adam Rodriguez) and attractive (with the exception of Matthew Mc.), but still it has to have a plot.
Some of you crack me up reading your posts. "If It doesn't have a plot...blah blah blah" "I don't think it will be a GREAT movie" "This movie is gonna suck" NO SHIT FOLKS! When I first read that all these B-list male actors were in one movie about strippers, I didn't think "O my god, this will rank as one of the best movies of ALL TIME, beating out Casablanca and Gone With The Wind" "I can't wait for awards season, my bets on this movie for best actor, support actor, cast....and the OSCAR goes to...." Some movies are for pure entertainment. I'm betting THIS IS ONE OF THEM. SMH
Here's some new pictures from EW
i wonder how many of the big names will do full frontal? i'll be shocked if it's anyone besides alcide. did tatum even show his dick when he stripped for real?
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: We’ve got to talk about playing a stripper in Magic Mike.
MATT BOMER: Exotic dancer. We have pride. [Smiles]
You had to get waxed, right? Did it hurt?
Yes and yes.
Have you waxed before?
I had never been waxed before. I did have to get partially waxed. I’m not a very hairy individual to begin with, but it was painful. But more than that, the pain didn’t bother me so much, it was more the feeling of feeling kind of prepubescent again, walking around with no hair on your legs, in jeans, feeling kind of naked all the time, that was odd.
Did it grow back okay?
Actually, the regrowth process was really s—-y — itchy, uncomfortable. I have a newfound appreciation for women, between the waxing, self-tanning, the constant gym time; I have a whole new profound respect for women and what they go through.
Other than that, you enjoyed yourself?
It’s Steven Soderbergh. Yeah, we had a really good time. I know Tim [DeKay, his White Collar costar] is going to tease me about a few moments in the film. I’m looking forward to seeing just what I get teased about the most.
Eventually I asked about the rating and he said, “Hard R. It’s a very hard R. Not NC-17, we don’t want it to go that far. You’ve got a bunch of naked guys. It won’t be full frontal, it’s just thongs or whatever you want to call them and underwear.”
it would make a lot more money if they did or if they made two of the main characters gay, kind of a brokeback stripclub. straight guys aren't going to pay to watch this anyway, they should have went all out.
I thought I read somewhere that Channing said that there will be no full frontal nudity
I can't deal with how corny of a movie I feel like this is going to be, it's just going to be "man candy, man candy and more man candy" I'll be watching it for my man Joe Manganiello sexy ass man <3
Now THIS is one movie that needs to be in 3D.
Can't wait to see what he has to show,
looks like woody time lol
I'd frott all of them except Alex >.< I tend not to lust after an actor in who comes out in a movie I enjoyed because it will distort my mind about the movie "I am Number 4" D:
New Steven Soderbergh being released in June about a male stripper teaching another one. Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Bomer star. Hope they all get naked, specially Pettyfer and Bomer.
Also try using the "search this forum" feature...it will let u know if this topic already exists & avoid duplicate threads
this movie has potential...hopefully it wont go straight to dvf because i would love to see these hot guys on the big screen
"LIKE is a SPIT, LOVE is a SWALLOW!"
Well since Matt has come out, I wonder if he ever had a crush or got "excited" while working with his co-stars on this movie.
I still can't even believe this movie is being made. It feels like all these actors were bribed or blackmailed into doing a big screen sausage fest. Even just the title sounds like a gay porn.
I'm not complaining, but I'm just surprised that this movie was greenlit for a theatrical release, considering it's niche audience that could hurt profit. I can't think of one straight male who would actually feel comfortable seeing this movie. I know I wouldn't pay to watch a movie about female strippers. Even films like Brokeback Mountain, J. Edgar, or even "queer" films like Mama Mia, it's easy to see why straight men would go see them. But this movie just sounds like a shameless man parade.
agree with welling
until then, go see "the vow"...
channing tatum is delightfully nude in that...
http://tynfyr.tumblr.com/ "...my daddy knew your daddy, said he was a hater too..."
Can't you just picture matt bomer telling the guys about his sexuality and then Channing sneaking to his trailer to "experiment".
