If I were lucky enough to win the first thing I'd be doing is finding a damn good attorney to allow myself to remain anonymous, then a very good financial planner so I'm not broke in 10 years like most big jackpot winners.

After that I'd probably buy a nice, slightly above average middle class home, maybe a volt/prius and truthfully thats probably about it. Pay off all my debts obviously. I have two friends that I absolutely trust immensely so I'd take care of them and they would share in the wealth with me. I've known them practically all my life...and they can keep my secret. Other than this I don't know what I'd really do.... I mean after taxes you're looking at something like $260-290 million, I just cannot fathom having that kind of money.

I definitely think I'd have a nice shelter built for teens/young adults who have been abandoned by their families for being gay- a place to provide shelter, food, education, job training, counseling, etc....

The line was three hours long. I waited patiently to get my tickets in cold, windy weather. Almost caught my death of hypothermia!

I bought some tickets. I figured it can't hurt to at least put myself in the running. Someone has to win eventually, so I may as well be eligible.

If I won, the first thing I would do is pay off all of my debt and quit my job. Then I would buy a car. I wouldn't even bother allotting set amounts of money to my immediate family. It would be their money, too. Anything they needed would be theirs. I would give money to my extended family and my friends. I would have a house built. Then I think I would just hide the rest away in a savings account and live comfortably for the rest of my life. I'm not a very material person and there's only so much STUFF I would want to buy. I'd rather just know that the money was there for ANYTHING I needed. I would travel a lot. No one I know or will ever know would EVER need money. I've spent my entire life needing money and I know how horrible it can be to not have enough. I would do what I could to help as many people as I could never have to feel what that's like again.
