I'm 33 and I don't lust after Justin Bieber because... well yea, I would feel kind of creepy and disgusting. That's just me. But not every poster on this forum is 30 and up in age. There's a lot of younger guys here, and there's nothing wrong with them lusting after someone their own age.

^Even tho no one on here should be 17, you're right. The common misconception on here is that everyone is 30+ or so. That's obviously not the case and that's dumb to think that way. I'm not one to say who should and shouldn't be lusting after who, but keep in mind that there are several people on here that are near his age. So just because you feel ''wrong'' lusting after him due to your age doesn't mean other people should. But that's not to say there aren't older people who like him too which.... To each his own.

As others have pointed out, we have a lot more younger members here than we did a few years ago. As such, there is absolutely nothing wrong with someone in their late teens or early twenties finding a 17/18 old attractive. I'm sure there are many of us, who, during OUR late teens have found someone younger than ourselves but who are within our peer group attractive.

Furthermore, America is behind much of the Western world in it's attitude towards sex. Here in the UK I could've been shagging Justin Bieber for the last two years perfectly legally!

The thing that has always concerned me - as it does with the Sprouse Brothers - is that people find someone who LOOKS 14 or 15 attractive. Regardless of age, sexual attraction is normally based on looks, and despite Bieber being 18, I simply can't see the attraction because to me he still looks like a 15yr old.

Here is what concerns me with that. TO YOU, those guys look a certain age, even though they are not. And as a mod, you get to create and enforce rules based on your opinion. Making people who post fakes of the Sprouse brothers submit the originals along with the fakes becauseyou think they look younger than they are has always been a problem for me.

What if a mod thought blacks tended to look younger than their real age? Or Asians? Would they harass posters or inflict burdensome rules upon them?

I think you should either require source images for pics of ANY celeb between the ages of 18-20 (after that it kind of becomes moot) or none at all. Picking and choosing makes no sense imo. Consistency is nice.

Nope. The reasoning behind it is more a time issue. I spend a good 70% of my time here researching images - mostly in the Gay Porn and Hot Men forum. Whilst the search facilities I have are good at collecting identical images from the net, it's a different matter when you're trying to find an image when all you have to go on is a face. As the person creating the fake already has the full original image, I see it as no hardship for them to either link to or also post the original image.

Some celebs look their age, and some don't - it's as simple as that. It has worked very well for the Sprouse brothers, and Daniel Radcliffe when they turned 18 - in fact I remove more underage images of Taylor Lautner than any other celeb. And if there was a popular newly 18 black or Asian celeb that looked underage, the same rule would apply. If you look at comments about Bieber and the Sprouse brothers, you'll see that it is not purely my personal view that they don't look 18, it's pretty much a consensus. There are many times when I question my judgement before removing an image, and on these ocassions I ask for further opinions from my fellow mods before acting on it.

In fact at one point we considered banning fake images of the Sprouse brothers based on #2 of the Code of Conduct that refers to persons appearing to be under 18. It was at this point that the compromise of posting the source image came into being.

Images posted in threads other than the Fakes thread are researched anyway.

I could have as well (in the USA). It seems that everyone thinks the age of consent in America is a universal 18, however this is not correct. It depends on the state, and actually only 12 of the 50 states have an 18 age of consent. The most common age of consent is 16 (same as UK) with 30 of the 50 states having that age limit, then there are 8 states that have it at 17.
