Oh, that's right! You did spill that T a while back. I even thought about that yesterday when I re-watched the ep. But yeah, considering one of them died within like, 5 minutes of screen time, I guess we couldn't expect scenes of them holding hands and comforting one another during the mess.
^ lol, People are so mean about Lori.
I saw this one just now:
Ngl, when I was watching it, I didn't realize it was Lori at first. I was like "omg, is that a black lady ghost staring at the gang?" THE PRISON IS HAUNTED!... Oh.
No, then people would just think that they were trying to get rid of gay characters quickly. That would have been really offensive, too.

Yeah, I dont get all the Lori hating either.
It really annoys me that people call her Whori. Why because she wanted a connection with a man that was good to her after her husband "died" ?
The slut shaming in this society is ridiculous.
^ I understand why she get's hate-- the character is just really annoying and inconsistent. She was poorly written but they gave her a good send-off and people reacted positively to that...
But I don't like the 'Whori' stuff either.
It took me a second to realize it was Lori, too. But when I did I got chills.
Ngl, I might've been here for the prison being haunted tho, lol.
Y'all, I know this is random and I'm probably alone, but whenever I watch zombie movies/shows, I always wonder about shit like if the zombies got Oprah or Britney.![]()
I stopped riding for Lori when she told Andrea to let the men protect the farm, and to start helping with laundry and cooking instead. Child, cheese.

I think it's down to the writing. The character just comes across as really irrational. Maybe that makes her more realistic to some people, but to most she is irritating. The slut-shaming angle just feeds off of that even though it's totally uncalled for.
Sometimes people just hate certain actors/their portrayals but I don't think that's the case with Sarah Wayne Callies. The actress was really lovely as Dr Sara Tancredi on Prison Break and people really liked her in that role...
That was so infuriating. It was pretty early on. She just started off on the wrong foot with many fans and it just went downhill from there...

I am surprised no know said anything about the ratings. 12.3 million viewers, beatings its old record!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who watches The Talking Dead. XD They have some good insights on the characters.
As for Lori, it's not that she got with Shane that annoys me, it's more of the things she says and the way she handles things, like when she drove off to find Rick (as if she'd be of some help) and ends up crashing, and both instances that BFizzle mentioned. I actually liked Andrea in that moment when she tells Lori off about having a husband, son, baby, and boyfriend. lol I don't think it's the person portraying her either, I think it's really just how the character is written. I admit, sometimes I hate a character because of the person portraying them, but that's usually after I've seen them on an interview or something and they didn't sit right with me. I don't know the actress playing her though. Still, I don't hate Lori, just annoyed by her and would probably avoid/ignore her if I was in that group. I think we're all just jealous she was with Rick. :P lol
Poor Rick losing all the good (and sexy!) people. He's just left with Glenn pretty much. lol Come back Daryl (and Tyrese!)! With Michonne, Daryl, and Tyrese all together, they could take out all of Woodbury.

"Don't hold strong opinions about things you don't understand."
I think Rick has real big trust issues with Michonne, if only he knew what she did by her trying to take out the Governor. I think Rick won't be fit to lead with all weird episodes he's been having. Almost seems like he is not safe to be around Little Asskicker either because he could snap and kill the baby.
I expected too much Sunday night - I had read a glowing review in the NY Post - the anticipation was a bit much
I was disappointed in the pace, content and what I see going forward. Here's my two cents
Rick as a semi crazy guy doesn't do it for me ...... really don't care for this depiction of him at all
Herschel was awesome - first with the new group - then with Glen - then talking Rick into being more open to new
Glen getting on Rick I didn't like - didn't feel it - and frankly that red/black/bruised eye thing didn't do it for me
The new group just widowed dad creeped me out - talking about offing carol and carl - hope he gets his
Rick seeing Lori - yech
Andrea as new leader of the the town - not buying that either
and the doctor of the town is el creepo too
thank god for herschel
miss daryl already
somebody kill his brother
michonne - does she talk ?
bottom line - need rick back
over and out
I was going to bold and capitalize the important parts or parts that stood out in the article, but all of it is too good!

'The Walking Dead' returns to jaw-dropping record ratings
The Walking Dead has done it again.
Another. ANOTHER. Series-high rating. (I didn't capitalize for emphasis, the article's author did that on his own. Yas, bitch, stan for TWD!)
Sunday night’s midseason return of the AMC zombie drama delivered 12.3 million viewers and a 6.1 adults 18-49 rating — its biggest yet in both measurements.
And that was against The Grammys.
To give you an idea of how stunning this performance is, ABC’s Once Upon a Time sank to a series low 2.2 in the adult demo last night and Fox’s Family Guy went down to a 2.4 — and those are the broadcast shows that performed the best against the music awards show.
Put another way: Last Thursday’s American Idol had 13.3 million viewers and a 4.1 rating and Wednesday’s edition had 14.3 million and a 4.6 rating. So in the all-important adult demo — if not total viewers — The Walking Dead beat last week’s American Idol telecasts. In fact, The Walking Dead‘s average for its current third season in the demo is higher than top broadcast shows like Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory and NCIS. And among cable, there’s no comparison — last night’s episode was the biggest adult demo number ever for a basic cable series.
Oh, and if you include The Walking Dead‘s encore telecast, the show’s viewership rises to 16.6 million for the night.
These ratings must confound broadcast executives. Because so much that’s on the air now is struggling to get noticed, straining to do even a 3.0 rating, especially dramas. To see a cable show pull out a 6.1 is enough to cause an existential crisis. That its a show that broadcast executives ultimately rejected before it landed at AMC must sting too (not that broadcast could get away with AMC’s level of graphic content).
“When you look at numbers like this, the first thing that comes to mind is how grateful we are to the fans of this show,” said Charlie Collier, AMC’s president. “They embrace The Walking Dead in a way that we wanted to believe was possible but we never take for granted. The cast and crew put everything they have into making this show. They’re a phenomenally talented group who truly give their all. We congratulate everyone involved.”
You want a little more Walking Dead, do you? Here’s EW’s interview with showrunner Glen Mazzara about the episode. Here’s our interview with Robert Kirkman about the episode. Here’s our interview with Sarah Wayne Callies about the episode. Here’s our recap of the episode. Here’s our commemorative Walking Dead paperweights. It’s an EW Walking Dead fire sale, all Walking Dead content must go!
I feel like he was about to let Tyrese's group in, til he had that episode. lol Hershel had him convinced imo. I was so nervous for little Asskicker when Beth handed her over to Rick and she started crying. Rick had that crazy look in his face. I thought he was gonna snap too. lol
"Don't hold strong opinions about things you don't understand."
I think they made Rick crazy too fast. I get he's supposed to be grief stricken by Lori's death, but he clearly was detached from her over her relationship with Shane. It just seems like one of those "hey it happened in the comic so we gotta put it on the show" things. Overall I thought it was a meh episode, not worthy of all the hype.
wait so is that black girl Tyreese's sister in the series or in real life? (too lazy to google)
and wtf was with Donna's husband going "oh you're living in the past"
stfu dude, you were carrying around Donna even after she was bit and shit.
also I just realized Karen of Woodbury is in Teen Wolf playing Tyler Posey's mom....lol
also did anyone else mention glenn insinuating that maggie really did get raped even though she says she didnt. I thought it was noteworthy.

"survival of the fittest"
this is from the guy who told his group to "just go" even when being chased by walkers in the prison because he didnt want to let go of his already dead wife. smh.
I like the new group - minus the guy that planned to take out Carl/Carol. I hope Rick gives them a chance.
I'll admit Rick's hallucination of Dead Lori gave me chills - Andrew Lincoln is a phenomenal actor. He does it so well. Rick has become a scary person. It'll be interesting to see if he can get back on the rails because from what I saw last ep he's on the brink of an epic meltdown.
Bring Daryl back. The group is weak without him and the show loses some of it's spark. I need Carol/Daryl to become a thing.
The Governor shits me - Andrea impressed me.
My MAJOR issue with this episode - Michonne. I need her to start talking. It's becoming a joke on the writers part.
This is why he was snubbed at the Golden Globes. I hope the Emmy's take into consideration Season 3 as a whole, because throughout Season 3, he has done just that; phenomenal. Could you imagine what this could do for the show? Already breaking records imagine if someone from the cast won an Emmy?
More epic than the one he had when Lori died?
Michonne was most comfortable with Andrea, but now that Andrea is still at Woodbury and stuck there for God knows how long, Michonne will play the mute until she can fully trust people at the prison. She might even stay in her jail cell until she can regain her energy. I am sure when Rick needs her to fight she will do it just to survive.
I knew Carol was going to be pissed off that Daryl just up and I just hope she doesn't do something stupid like go out and look for Daryl and get herself killed.
Also I found it weird that the last time Carl and Carol were alone was when they were having that conversation about God and Sophia on the farm.
Somehow I think she's going to save Rick's ass and then he'll trust her. Maybe it will have to do with Tyreese, too. Two trusts with one sword thrust? Hope so. Down with the Ricktator! He can't take the pressure of a family and a group at the same time. Too much on his shoulders and he's not willing to let anyone help. Hopefully that teaser of Carl saying someone else needs to lead is coming soon.
Author of Lost in a Dream. If you want to make me smile, read it and tell me what you think.
Herschel lost how many people from his family and he's still taking it like a man and still incredibly sane. Plus he lost his leg and has to walk around on crutches. For the safety of that baby, lock Rick up and fucking make someone else the Leader for right now. Rick is not well that entire room witnessed him talking to some imaginary person.
Why is tumblr making me want to ship Michonne and Daryl by posting all these cute BTS stuff of Norman and Danai. Stahp.
I'm seriously getting really tired of it. Danai Gurira deserves better than this mess.
They think they can just portray Michonne in EXACTLY THE SAME WAY as in the comic? Like, this is a tv show. They need to expand on it, it doesn't translate very well on a show-- to have her silently emoting with the same facial expression all of the damn time.![]()
Y'all. Daryl looks like my friend's mom.
^ LMAO. OMG. I just re-read that and realized that it doesn't say "my MOM's friend."
It says friend's mom.
Friend's mom.
Can anyone tell that I am running on no sleep.
Girls,
I'm here.
First of all, Andrew Lincoln can give it to me in 70 different ways.
Second, Those two white boys from this new group are trouble. I don't remember who lost the wife/girlfriend or if it was a fam of a mother father son ect ect but I don't use either of them and after that Carol/Carl messiness the writers are setting those two characters up to get killed by the rest of the group. It makes sense because the black guy and black girl are having more facetime which makes those two extras disposable.
I have a feeling with Rick's latest episode he may take care of them during another psychotic break. I will be cheering him on, tbqh.
Also, about Rick's state of mind this is the second time he has imagined something so vividly. First it was with that telephone, I immediately thought it was the loss of Lori which made him break but something else is happening.
The hispanic guy at woodberry who was shoving his gun in everyone's face is HAWT. Of course, Andrea had to kill my buzz by becoming Queen of Woodberry. I can only be so mad at her for continuing her conquest on that good peen while the others are struggling to stay alive in what appears to be an endless maze of prison cells.
Merle remains a thorn on my side and Darryl leaving with him gives us good opportunities for twists and turns. I will be very interested on who those two will run into first. The old gang, or the woodberries. Perhaps they sneak up on something we haven't seen before.
There are so many avenue's this show hasn't gone in yet the possibilities are endless. We are just running up on a town with a "System" (Not yet a real government) I'd be curious to see what other worldly devices we come across in the Walking Dead Universe.

Okay, so I was thinking about peace between Woodbury and the Prison.. I know it won't happen, but it got me thinking...
What the hell happened to that wandering giant mass of zombies from the farmhouse? Did they just move on? Was there anything mentioned at the beginning of season 3?
Author of Lost in a Dream. If you want to make me smile, read it and tell me what you think.
they probably just moved on
from what the characters say, its probably not uncommon for a "herd" to just move from place to place
and i wonder what would happen eventually to the zombies if they dont have anything to eat...they starve at a slower rate but...do they eventually die of starvation?
Andrea needs to die.
Yeah, the very opening episode of season 3 has them gathered around a map laid out on a hood of a car planning their movement and talking about where they've noted herds to be moving. It's implied they've been doing this live-on-the-run trying to stay away from where the herds are for the ~8 months since they left the farm.
Ah thanks guys. I remembered something but I still think it's kind of strange that it hasn't happened upon the Prison yet. A herd should come by right when the Governor attacks so that all those townies die.

still can't get over rick's real life british acccent![]()
She is, very cute and she seems so personable and funny. Everytime I see her in photos with the cast, they all look like they're so at ease with her. And I think she is so stunning when she's out of her Michonne get-up and cheap wig. lol
I love seeing the actresses from TWD all glammed up.
