Those are EXACTLY the things they should've omitted, imo. That and Morgan's zombified wife turning the knob. Zombies aren't supposed to do anything remotely close to humans except look human and breathe.

Unless they are zombies from Warm Bodies, which I saw and was cute as phuck!

After the so-so portrayal of Michonne, that I hope they'll fix in the next 7 episodes. I was so happy with the portrayal of Tyrese, he's just catching Rick, while he's going through some stuff. Sasha was great too, she was not in the comics interesting to hear she is Tyrese's sister. I don't think Beth is crushing on Rick(I am :P). I think it is more as a Uncle kind of relationship.

Guys, seriously who the heck would ditch their brother during a zombie apocalypse? Let's be real. I respect Darryl's decision even though Merle is a piece of shit. It's understandable and tbh I would have side-eyed Darryl if he'd left his brother, his own blood, all alone to fend for himself. I'm not even sure why Carol is making parallels between the relationship she had with her abusive husband and the relationship Darryl has with Merle. Rick is the most unstable fucking guy. I'm glad he had his hallucination-breakdown in front of the entire group-- I think it's his worst one yet in front of them. He needs to be reeled in, they have basically been letting him call the shots without question. His paranoia is getting in the way of keeping the group safe. You start a war with an entire town, let Darryl go, then reject Michonne and Tyreese. The fuck is this guy doing.

Maybe it's just because I grew up with siblings that I didn't always get along with, but you really do ride for your blood, and if he didn't in that moment, girl...

Anyway, I mentioned this a while back but there was supposed to be a gay storyline in the Prison. Two of the prisoners were in a relationship in the comics. Apparently, the fact that they just erased that part out of the show got on many people's nerves. I don't think they were skipping it out of homophobia though, it's just that they had no interest in developing the prisoners-- I think almost all of them have been killed off.

The exclusion was particularly noted by LGBT blog Back2Stonewall, in which Will Kohler criticized the change in a blog post:

Considering the veritable United Nations of characters that have been seen on The Walking Dead over the past three seasons it’s becoming a glaring omission and sad fact there has not been one LGBT character on this show up till now.

Invisibility on television is a major problem for the LGBT Community and both TV and movies need to learn that a characters sexuality is an aside, a trait like being left-handed or having blue eyes and should be presented and treated as such and not something to fear presenting.

LGBT viewers of The Walking Dead and television in general deserve much better. Better characters, better representation, and better advocating for such by concerned individuals and organizations.
