edit: being that this thread was started on the weekend, I have a feeling it will pick up once the weekend is over and people are back in front of their computers again.
I want to HEAR SloppySeconds on here.......Can he talk the way he types? lol....
Who was it that said their voice sounded nasally recorded ?
me.wav - 0.66MB
For some reason, somehow, my last file was deleted from zshare ?????
I can't get Zshare on my computer....this was the problem with the FIRST version of this thread, done last year. This NEW site though, Vocaroo, is PERfect and easy to use.
I've been told I sound like Roger from "American Dad"
Last night I was only reading the thread since that vocaroo site doesn't work on my desktop. Tonight I got on my laptop & listened ... wow some of you guys are lucky too have great voices
Totally nostalgia binging (figuratively and literally) on this...
A silly vid made with my guitar, a grandfather clock, and me singing along with both those things in a very basey voice ala Jermaine off Amercian Idol (listen how it builds up towards the end and then theres the final extended outro like A Day in the Life by The Beatles). Those colourful things in the middle of the vid are what I imagine the product JUB to look like!
It sounds like I have aliens in the background... Sorry for sounding like an idiot.
A great collection of voices though. Of all the Americans, it's Hard-Up who stands out for me. Sounds very reassuring and just like someone I remember from TV. The narrator from The Waltons maybe. Swervy, as I've noticed from some of his videos, can talk the hind leg off a donkey.
How could anyone think ChickenGuy was anything other than Scottish?! I mean, if ever there was a male Miss Jean Brodie, it's the man from the Isles.
And Mitchymo? He tells me he speaks the Queen's English, but if that's not a text book English midlands accent then I'm a Dutchman.
I'm told I sound like a combination of Stephen Fry and Hugh Grant, so you'll just have to use your imagination. Not Dutch at all.
>>>you had me shocked though. you said nobody here likes your voice but i do.
I actually said "Nobody likes the sound of their recorded voice." I can't say as I like mine - to me, it sounds flat and nasally and uninteresting. But other people seem to like it.
Checked out the most recent updates to this thread tonight
In between that I was working on some audio & video files that may go on YouTube eventually (completely unrelated to here) .. as usual I made the computer do the talking part (LOL glad my computer can "talk" what I type in..the thought of grabbing my microphone & talking into it is still )
A very select few people know the sound of my voice....while a male Fran Drescher may seem harsh(well, yah,it is,lol!)I absolutely DESPISE the sound of my regular speaking voice.
However,if I can figure out this thing(I am technologically near useless!)The sound of Jersey shall ring through JUB!
Click on this link http://vocaroo.com/i/s07wxJXkvUXG
then in the box that appears on the upper right side it will say record now.... click there and then accept or allow it to run...
When it is flashing it is recording.... after you press stop then at the bottom is a Save button... once you save it then you get a link to your voice recording.... YAY
bring some Jersey
