I don't get Cody....I think he definitely has a voice...but I don't think he's choosing the right songs for it. His performances are always a bit off for me.

I think Christina made a mistake when she sent Deborah home. It isn't that the girls she kept werent' likeable or talented but Deborah had a really cool vibe and a great stage presence...I suspect she would have been a top five contender. I miss her alot.

um...De'borah was a guy. There's a lot of androgynous guys/closet cases on this season.

This is something my roomie talk about a lot when we watch the show. There is a lot of talent on the show but there is little soul to it. I immediately axe a singer if they cannot play a musical instrument [having met several music majors, one cannot major in "voice".] There are plenty of talented singers that should be relegated to musical theatre because they have no soul/emotion behind what they sing. Perfect example is Trevan. He can sing ballads with relative ease, but he has no depth. On the flip side, Melanie has a ton of soul but her singing voice is "limited".

Reckon this is from The Voice UK, but this performance by Bo Bruce is what got me hooked on her. She reminds me a lot of Florence + The Machine. You can feel her emotion in the song despite it not being her own and she can sing too...

lol its not like winning The Voice really means anyhting...its really just a platform for the judges imo. but yea kinda hoped Dez would have been in the competition longer just because hes nice to look at

Christina's team was stacked to the brim with wannabe pop stars and those are a dime a dozen so it's no surprise her team fell. She picked her team horribly and her piss-poor attitude on the show doesn't help either. They are not judges but are coaches/mentors and Christina seems far more interested in herself than her team. Her backhands, in particular to other females on the show is appalling. Also kind of sad when Adam out divas Christina. A lot of people can't wait till she's off the show.

As for Cody, Queen is always a death nail for performers. They are one of those artists you should never touch in a singing competition.

I'm, expecting Trevan and Melanie to go home next week but we shall see.

OMG I'm hooked now on Bo Bruce. I do see the similarity. The problem for me is that when Melanie sings, it always sounds like she's trying to whisper and be all Lindsay Pavao (which got old even the second season).

Kind of sad to see Dez go. You'd think that since he gets the biggest applause he'd still be in.

Christina has looked at bit "off" this season...she has had a few Paula Abdul moments and that is uncomfortable to watch because I like her. I am sorry to see Cody leave...Dez was just OK for me.

i think she will still stay on the panel just to offer her critique and fill a chair, it would look weird with an empty seat between ceelo and blake.

also i think their might be a winner's bonus, to the winning coach, like last season blake had to get maybe an extra half a mil or something cause his person won the show.

I will be even more weird now that Adam has no team either. Melanie should have been gone a while ago so it was a given especially after her poor performance last nite but I was a tad surprised Amanda is going home. I actually liked her, much more than Trevan who can sing but has no personality at all.

IMO, the competition is over and Cassidee will win it all.

I'm growing tired of Casssadee. She always sounds so perfect when she executes her notes. I like the renditions of the songs she sings, but I keep wanting something more. But out of everyone left, I want her to win.

I said Trevin should have gone home last week so I am not surprised at all. Also, one does not sing "Wind Beneath My Wings". It's one of those immortalized songs ever since Diana died. Once I heard what he was singing, I knew he was going home regardless of his performance. I would lump it in with the other "black listed" songs for singing competitions. Even, Christina was like: "bitch please, you are not THAT deep."
