This is what I believe is happening during the BRAVO Pow-Wow meetings...BRAVO is paying Nene High 6-figures or 7-figures(highest paid Housewife) and they have told her she's staying put. Nene doesnt want to be around ANY of the women on RHOA. If BRAVO gives her a spin-off she'd use that show to stay away from the other women...BRAVO doesnt want to take that chance with Nene...

I'm convinced that this show is scripted. That "80 year old white man" that Marlo is dating is none other than Ted Turner, founder of CNN. People don't refer to someone they know as an "80 year old white man" especially when they know that man's name. Producers don't want to get sued by having their participants wrongly or rightfully name names. So "the billionaire," "80 year old white man" has to remain without a name when it's clear they know who this person is.

that being said--I guess most of you guys are becoming just as bored with this drawn-out season of ATL as I am. I can't believe there have been no posts since early Feb. Then again--there was a couple of weeks that were reruns, and when we do get new episodes...there's nothing much to see.

At least this whole "black baby" crap might be over now.


Also: I love Phaedra to death, but that shit show she put on for her baby boy was too damned extra--even for her. I fast forwarded through most of that crap.

OTOH, the other ATL housewives used their appearance on the show to highlight their professional work, or use it as a "launching pad" to get into other business endeavors...

Like:

NeNe Leakes -- Appeared on "Celebrity Apprentice" and "Glee". Also was shown getting into business ventures with her Italian-American quasi-boyfriend.

Phaedra Parks -- Showed off her legal skills as an attorney on the show and started getting involved in a funeral business

Cynthia Bailey -- Started the "Bailey Agency of Fashion" while on the show

Kandi Baruss -- Showed off her foray into country music & songwriting, internet talk show, and "Bedroom Kandi" adult female sex toys

Kim Zolciak -- Showed off her pregnancy on the show and will be appearing on a Bravo show "Don't be Tardy for the Wedding"


Sheree Whitfield was the only one to not have any successful projects during the show. She talked about her "She by Sheree" line which has been a dismal failure, at least so far.

So I find it hard to believe that Sheree Whitfield would just walk away from such a good paycheck (Real Housewives of ATL) like that...

I'm all up in the latest season. This show is definitely my guilty pleasure.

I pretty much like everyone except Kenya's wanna-all-that ass. I can't stand her.

Porsha is actually my favorite so far, because she's unintentionally funny...and I love how aloof she seems to be. She's going to make for really great television when she gets more airtime, I'm sure.

My favorite bit of this season as of now is when that guy who works at The Bailey Agency read Kenya up and down about picking on those aspiring models. That shit was FUN-EE! . You can tell he really hurt her when he said he didn't know who she is.

Meanwhile--I really hate that Kim won't be on the show all season, because that means we won't be seeing much of Kroy's massive ass. And I refuse to watch those spinoff shows of hers just to see it. Does anyone know if there's good "Kroy" material in those wedding episodes that aired this past summer?
