I read on Probst's blog where he emphasized next week history repeats itself. Judging from next week's preview, I am betting on a shake-up where new tribes are made and Colton gets blindsided with the unused immunity Idol. Everyone already knows he is a player (and a horrible person), and such a shake -up would break up the alliance of stupid people.

Or was he simply saying that Colton manages to convince his new tribe to give up their idol for a second week in a row? I hope not. Unless his plan backfires and he still gets blindsided. That would be sweet.

I totally agree. Bill really impressed me with his level headed response to Colton. And with the hate that little troll was spewing, I would've been tempted to insult and clock him, but Bill rose above that magnificently, and refrained from sinking to homophobic insults too (which a lot of straight guys would fall back on in a situation like that).

Take note Colton. Having class isn't about money or polo shirts or country clubs, it's about character. Bill is classier than Colton the way a unicorn is classier than a pig in shit.

i read in a interview on zap to it that bill accepted to go to tribal because he thought that him mike jay, pulled in troyzan and jonas, and they were gonna blindside colton. but they didnt show it int he show.

apparently troy and jonas are the frre agents, hence why matt cam up to him when he was about to get booted. cause in matt's interview he thought he did have the numbers with the muscle allaince troy and jonas.

interesting how much they choose to show and not to show. i also think that if colton didnt have an idol then he woudl be gone already.

i think at this point they are putting up with him, but they are all scared to try to get him out, and then him finding out, cause ppl have loose lips (leif) and then they vote him off he plays idol and then one of them gets sent home with 1 vote.

i do think that a tribe switch could happen, considering its about half way till merge, which they may do at 12. and theres even numbers of girl and boys. when jeff says makes history, some thing tells me they will go to the purple rock tie breaker for the first time since marquesas.

The consensus seems to be that the "twist" from the preview is a tribe swap next week. They've done one for every season that had the tribes split up in some specific way, i.e. by age, by gender, by race, etc.

I also think it's pretty safe to say that a woman is winning this season. Colton is already in the process of making the men crash and burn with how he got them all to go to Tribal Council last night. My winner predictions: one of Kim, Monica or maybe Sabrina, though she might be too "obvious" to win.

If he'd really had some personal growth in the past year, he wouldn't have tweeted "Most epic episode of Survivor tonight!" from his twitter account. He clearly thought he would be embraced by some fans as a cheeky favorite and had a rude awakening when everyone saw him for the bigot he is. No person with ANY self-awareness or "growth" since that taping, would've tweeted gleefully for people to watch that episode. If I'd been on a show and exposed the worst parts of myself, I would be embarrassed, ashamed and cringing and trying to get my friends and family NOT to watch it. He's learned nothing.

Kudos to the "Survivor" producers for not editing out his revolting comments (unlike on "Big Brother" where the bigoted statements never make it on the air), although one wonders what else he might have said that didn't make it onto the show.

I would love love LOVE for it to go down like that. Not just with Colton being voted out, but with him playing the idol, being told it's no longer a valid idol, and then getting the boot without even making it to the jury. After having to endure this bitch for the first few episodes, it would be great to see him get his comeuppance in a Survivor moment way, with Colton the self-proclaimed Survivor expert becoming just another humiliating anecdote.

Not a terribly exciting episode. It is almost too much of a coincidence to believe all the good looking, athletic people got randomly selected for the same tribe.

I don't think anyone wants Colton gone at this point. He is definitely someone to take to the final vote, if anyone is willing to stomach him a few more weeks. I think most would be willing to endure that for $1 million.

Jay certainly is looking . But he doesn't say much. I think he has a secret crush on Colton.

You know, Survivor used to be a show that focused on dynamic characters. In the first few seasons you really got to know multiple people and that made you care about what happened to them in the game. Now they just cast one asshole each season and focus ONLY on that person.

Think about how much more interesting this season would be if they featured more character portraits. Sabrina totally seems funny and cool in the little time she's given, Leif probably has an interesting story about his experience as a little person, Jay could tell us what it was like to be a southern stud with a helium voice, and Alicia could tell us what made her such a fucking disgusting trash-bag whose saggy boobs are always poking out of her clothes.

I definitely think this season is improvement over the recent years. Yes, Colton is an asshole but he's not the only one getting time like Russell did in Samoa or Rob did in Redemption Island. Sabrina had the most screentime in the first two episodes of the show, even. There are people who are more relevant than the others, but that's happened in every season, and I don't think there's anybody who is completely insignificant to the season right now. Maybe Christina, but she's the only one, and the previews make it look like that will change tonight.

So far, though, I do concede that the less significant characters were developed mostly in their boot episodes, or the one before it, like Nina, Bill and Monica were. I would expect Leif to comment about his struggles of being a little person in his own boot episode (since his edit so far certainly isn't indicating a win). Even if they don't... I'm kind of okay with it, after seeing how clumsily the show handled Kelly Bruno.

I agree it would be nice if Survivor could focus some more on other people rather than just a select few.

And it would be cool if the show tried to blindside the viewers at home occasionally. It's never really a surprise who goes home each week; with the editing we always can narrow it down to two people. It would be nice if the editing totally misleads us and the person who goes home is someone the editing made look as if they were never considered.

Anyway, it's not One World any more since the tribes have split into separate camps. That concept didn't last long.
