Jconti53, I’ll take a crack at your question.

I am 48 years old. I have known that I was sexually attracted to men since I was 4 ½ years old. Though I did not know about sex then or what homosexuality was, but I did know that “some” guys caught my eye and I knew that some guys did not catch my eye. When I was 4 ½ years old, I had always been “naturally” attracted to men who were older than me. Back when I was 4 ½ and even until this very day, men with facial hair will catch my eye much quicker than a man who has no facial hair. Yet I do find “some” clean-cut men attractive (regardless if they are hairy or not). Between being 4 ½ to 18 years old, usually I was most attracted to men in their early 20's, average weight/build to slightly overweight, with facial hair. At that time, there was no such terms as a “bear” or “cub” or “daddy”. Yet I guess the only term they had back in the day was “hirsute” men. By the time I was 18, I generally like men my age to about 20 years older. Yet by the time I hit 40, I now tend to mainly only be attracted to men that are 10 years plus or minus my age. My love for men who are average weight/build to slightly overweight, with facial hair has never changed. I just never was all that attracted to thin or skinny men. Most thin and skinny men do absolutely nothing for me sexually. Men with a swimmers building or athletic build do nothing for me either. Yet I know that by society's standards, those 2 builds or muscular body are ideal and any other body type on a man is considered undesirable and or ugly.

Yet all-in-all, I think that it is fair to say that people are attracted to what “they like”, and there is no explanation needed. Yet also, people are un-attracted to whatever they are un-attracted to . . . again there is no explanation needed. Yet I could ask you Jconti53, why is it that you don't like guys who are older, fat, and hairy?

Yet on the plus side, I guess that is nature’s way to make sure that EVERYBODY finds someone they can connect with. I think that life would be too dull and boring if everybody had the same tastes and liked the exact same thing. Thus is why I like this section of JUB (Bears, Daddies, Chasers, etc.), vs. the other JUB section that caters to the non-bear/daddies/cub/mature men. Which is okay, since I know that when it comes to porn, there is a huge demand for both men and women between 18 to 29. Yet one last thing, think about all of the times that you have been to a bar or nightclub, wishing that guys you found HOT & SEXY . . . yet all of those guys were not hitting on you . . . yet also think of all of those guys that found you HOT & SEXY (at that same bars and nightclubs), yet you would not give them the time of day, because for whatever your reason(s), you did not find them HOT & SEXY. Yet again, there is someone for everyone. Nobody can help who they “are” and “are not” attracted to.
