    I like the last remark at the end of the linked article where it says he is likely to "become little more than a footnote in the United Arab Emirates' royal history". You can have all the swank and money and sex and drugs and designer sunglasses in the world but when you're dead you're dead and you take up the same amount of space as any other corpse.

    Done ^^
    http://vocaroo.com/i/s1BhrP5yO34U
    I followed the Voice coach advice to be a better singer.."Sing with your heart like you really meant it!" :=D
    : duh..The voice coaches, they're so creative..to speak unthinkable thing

    So I try to simulate myself in the song..

    Say you love me to my face
    I need it more than your embrace
    Just say you want me, that's all it takes
    Heart's getting torn from your mistakes

    'Cause I don't wanna fall in love
    If you don't wanna try,
    But all that I've been thinking of
    Is maybe that you're mine
    Baby it looks as though we're running out of words to say
    And love's floating away

    Just say you love me, just for today
    And don't give me time 'cause that's not the same
    Want to feel burning flames when you say my name
    Want to feel passion flow into my bones
    Like blood through my veins

    'Cause I don't wanna fall in love
    If you don't wanna try,
    But all that I've been thinking of
    Is maybe that you're mine
    Baby it looks as though we're running out of words to say
    And love's floating away
    but Jeffrey, he sang in higher register, that showoff I was literally cracked and choked to death when the song reaching apex point with all the yell and choir happening...I have to cut mine short.
    I guess I'm not in that level yet
    practice makes perfectest..

    but the prob with Matt Rush that his skin tone is too light. When I'm in the mood of black guy- he definitely can't represent black guy because his butt is..... too lily white Some good Latinos and dark Brazilian can act as better substitute.

    Re: Thread of Nonsensical Ramblings

    2 nights ago..there was this "mourning moon."

    According to pagans (me):
    In the Pagan religion, the Morning Moon marks a time of cleansing and with it comes a number of rituals designed to help Pagans rid themselves of baggage. Alternatively called the Fog Moon or Snow Moon depending on the region, the type of rituals practiced on Wednesday are meant to rid a person of bad habits.

    In the Pagan tradition, autumn is a time to physically and mentally prepare for winter. For Pagans, the last phase of preparation in anticipation of colder months involves letting go of old things, habits or people. The rituals are largely symbolic, yet are thought to help Pagans embrace the new year unencumbered by attachment to negativity or grief.
    http://news.yahoo.com/mourning-moon-...140131824.html

    Regarding tragedy the world endure these days..the mourning moon truly came up at appropriate timing. So serene, frosty and sad. That was the time..to cleansing and healing one's spirit. Full moon in general means "mastery"/end of cycle, the harvest and visible result. When you master your emotion these days, the moon goddess will ultimately bestow you healing and renewal.

    That was also the time for forgiveness and giving chance..

    like eventhough I scare the heck of Syrian refugees..but the collective emotion of moon goddess told me..not to be afraid, it's gonna be ok and please be kind to them.
    No one can console my worry, perhaps only supernatural bespoken could soothe my mind, not enough to change it though ^^. Therefore I bless those refugees and I hope they could adapt and live securely in a country which allow them to stay.

    That was the time, yes..I collected moon energy before I spill the beans here ^^ but wait..there is a good news..The moon still full for few days including tonight! Although the power diminishing day by day. So, the mourning moon still on tonight until its setting tomorrow morning at 8:01 AM, but the moon power totally vanished when the sun rising at 7.30 AM..so if you want to contemplate yourself tonight before you sleep, HURRY UP!! HARVEST THE MOON ENERGY!!

    diminishing= waning..becoming crescent.

    There was also an image.. I saw from Splendour thread- from cormac. Hi cormac!

    Really beautiful.

    That image really reminds me of "The Star" tarot card depiction..nailed card imagery, perfectly with
    a figure at serene environment, water and light from above which look almost like twinkle from fireflies..

    So, that made me eager to tweak it yesterday, alongside I typed this ^^..I add milky way background pic, overlay it and turning the composite image to my personal tarot card collection ^^

    Re: Thread of Nonsensical Ramblings

    After I made that card, I idle-ly ^^ went to googling "the star tarot card meaning"

    ..and from this particular site: The Star meaning really surprised me
    Star Tarot Story
    On the bleak landscape where the Tower stood, the Fool sits, empty, despairing. He hoped to find direction on this spiritual journey, a path to his spiritual self, but having just learned that most of his life was a lie, he now feels lost. Sitting on the cold stones, he gazes up at the night sky wishing for some kind of guide. And that is when he notices, nearby, a beautiful girl with two water urns. As he watches, she kneels by a pool of water illuminated with reflected starlight. She empties the urns, one into the pool, one onto the thirsty ground.

    "What are you doing," he asks her. She looks up at him, her eyes twinkling like stars. "I am refilling this pool, so that those who are thirsty may drink, and I am also watering the earth so that more fruit trees will grow to feed those who are hungry." She nods back to a single fruit tree that stands nearby, a nightingale singing amid its branches.
    "Come," she invites. "Sate your hunger and quench your thirst."
    The Fool plucks some fruit from the tree, then kneels by her and drinks from the pool. The water tastes wonderful, like liquid starlight, and the fruit is equally delicious. Both help to heal his wounded heart.
    Having quenched his thirst and sated his hunger, the Fool lays back to gaze up at the stars. "They're so beautiful," he said, "but so distant."
    "Like possible futures," agrees the girl. "Cool and distant. Yet if you keep one in sight, it can guide you to your destination no matter how far away it is." Even as she says this, she began to fade away, like dew, vanishing. All that remains is a gleam that was at the center of her forehead. This rises up and up, until it settles in the night sky as a shining star. "Follow your star," the woman's voice seems to sing from that light, "and have hope."
    The Fool takes in a breath and rises. It is a dark night, a desolate land. But for the first time, he has a guiding light to show him the way. Distant as it is, it restores his faith.
    Star Tarot Card Meaning
    With Aquarius as its ruling sign, The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing, even unexpected help to offer us sustenance in bleak times.

    Thus, the card says that there is aid and assistance out there to help us though hard times, like organizations that offer food and shelter in the wake of a terrible flood or fire. This assistance might, to us, be a friend or counselor, an uplifting book or music, anything that appears in our life and heals our wounded spirit. More, the card tells us that we can achieve what we most want to achieve, like flood or fire victims wanting to rebuild. This future, however, won't be growing to full size overnight like Jack's Beanstalk. It will take time and we must not lose sight of it.
    This may seem like cold comfort. No one wants to hear that the person they're interested is not interested in them, but will be in the future. Or that they will not succeed today, but will later on in their life. Still, it is there, a glimmer of light in the darkness. The question is, do we feel it's worth waiting for or not?
    That is the question the Star makes us ask ourselves: What do we want bad enough that we will go the distance for it? The answer will tell us as much about what we are as what we could be.
    Thirteen's Observations on the Star
    The Star is one of those cards that almost everyone loves. It is often the most beautiful card in the deck and its image suggests the peace and harmony of its meaning.
    While this card offers hope and possibilities, however, the reader must remember that these are in the distance. Only a time of healing and peace, like the oasis of water before the Star, are in the now. Like Aquarius, the card's vision is for tomorrow. This means that if the querent is seeking love, a career, fame, wealth or even spiritual enlightenment, they can only be told that it is a possibility. It is not going to happen anytime soon. But if, like a ship navigating its way, they keep the star in their sights, they will eventually reach that other land they're seeking.
    The Star offers no guarantees, of course, that the traveler won't tire and give up or be lured in another direction. And there is no telling what obstacles they'll encounter along the way. All the Star promises is that a particular future can exist.
    The Star offers peace and healing and a glimpse of the future. It is up to the querent to decide if they are willing to go after that future, no matter how long it may take them to get there.

    Re: Thread of Nonsensical Ramblings

    In conclusion..we all really don't know how the future will unravel but the star gives us hope, healing and confidence rather than despair and fear. The star is like ..your hopeful life in teenage years. Have you ever been teenagers? It's blossoming or very uncomfortable time for some..but the things teenagers often inherent which stripping away from us, little by little while we growing up..are their youth, zeal of enthusiasm..alongside with their naivety to see possibilities and to believe that they COULD handle all the situation/ to CHANGE the world.

    Teenagers..good or bad..they have this fireball energy and to be hopeful with it, that ..is ..The Star ^^

    regarding to Syrian refugees and us..
    The card could answer both of their and our worry..if it's visible in your reading. And I hope, that this is the card which manifesting its energy to our daily life these days because nowadays..we're living in uncertain time, truly uncertain time. The star is like a brilliant, yet kind and gregarious teenager working in humanitarian field. It's fresh, fiery, hopeful, not jaded, gleaming among darkness. ^^

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Now, it started from Mourning moon, to a pic posted from cormac, to the Star tarot card and its eerie representation of Syrian refugees and hope for betterment..
    Are those all coincidence?
    Ok, long time ago I wrote this little rambling..
    The doctor even made me blush NOT because he's cute or sexy like that..but because he uttered "such a nice genes" to my teeth..Really..
    That event prompted one of my most crucial personal quest (ion) ..it's about being blessed/ lucky or unlucky/cursed.
    I often roll my eyes for those getting easy in rl world...
    I roll my eyes hard to young, white, hip, college graduate when they got fairly "lucrative" job
    I ROLL my eyes HARDER to a successful bimbo whose a heiress of Hilton hotel ..
    because..the world is their oyster including all that privilege ... ^^
    which eventually..I admit, I haven't figure it out..the solution of why such and such..
    some people never successful? Some successful after so much bleeding in process? Some are born that way , earned it without special effort?
    All my search-ing..eventually lead me to this conclusion: That when you bless someone you love to be successful, don't forget to offer gratitude to "3 gods of fates"
    Who are they?
    I think no one could be successfully successful without the help of..
    1. Hard work- hard work is a wheel, a vehicle of our body of work. Without hard work nothing to be done, none of result could happen. Hard work is your drive, your ambition to success/accomplished/your passion. Everyone must have hard work gene before one can dream to be a leader. But people who just rely on hard work/ worship hardworking domestic god usually never taste the top notch position because..
    2. Talent is also determining. Your talent is what makes you "special" in things you doing, make you different/stand out than the rest of herds. Talents are skills but some tricks doesn't need skill ^^ for sample: things Kim Kardashian does
    Beauty is talent, charm and charisma also a form of talents. You can't fake your skill just like you can't fake your charisma..
    although everything could be polished with "training" but tbsure, there's actually different quality between "trained" and "talented" individual.
    3. But talent and hard work still not enough..to accomplished. The third god of fate is..Luck/favor. The god could represent "your boss" but it usually is embodiment of many/much opinions out there like collective consciousness which known as; votes, markets, etc.
    Our chance to success is rolled in a lucky draw like environment or simply..by favor of mass crowd. The third god doesn't need to be your supervisor or expertise in the field you do, for sample if you're into culinary and you open a restaurant. Success or not your restaurant is based on your "customers." They are not food experts and they might can't cook themselves but their volume will speak in how successful your job is. So, the third god might not an expert, stupid indeed and full of bias but still..he/she is the most powerful ^^
    Luck and favor ..you can see every time reality competition show play on tv, whether it's singing, dancing, cooking (chopped),modeling.. in the end..everybody could all be hard workers, all talented..but favor will prevail the winner ^^
    So, when I bless my cousin for his birthday next March..I will bless him success
    in hard work, may you become talented/skillful and may the world favor you..
    Because it's not enough to wish your dream to come true even though you really want it bad
    Re: Thread of Nonsensical Ramblings
    Ok, so what happen if someone get over abundant attention from the the third god (favor/luck)? That's right, he/she becoming "overrated" ^^
    just like what happening to Adele..
    Anyone never heard of her ^ in your life? Gimme a break ^^
    The second coming of Adele (feminine form of jesus christ) got full hype since last November, the same time with Isis terror headlines. So, during that time period (late nov to early Dec) news headlines in yahoo and everywhere are full of Paris attack and "her" in entertainment section. Shame on you taking lime light in dire time! Jk ^^ not her fault though. Actually her news toned down recently but nothing could turning bad with record breaking album sales (millions sold) and a few high profile concerts. The world is smiling to Adele.
    My first impression of her after her successful coming back that she deserves it ..and I think she's a smart musician/business woman, making hiatus for few years, totally preparing for fresh arrival with FULL IMPACT, downplaying fame while many female musicians eversince GaGag arrival (2009-2013) were using too much make ups, weird costumes, hype and controversy to get mainstream attention.
    She's like..I don't need those stuff, keep chubby and stay true to her rural British root, that's why so many people like and can relate to her.
    But when few days ago..CBS??(I think) announced her special new york concert with caption.."One of the best vocal in our generation"~ Give me a break
    She's average vocalist tbhonest. She has unique- signature style of singing but that's about it..oh, and good relaxed but controlled performance, meaning her live vocal could merge to studio version with ease, that also a form of talent. Many vocalists failed in live or sounding totally different/ off during live performance like Avril Lavigne..(try listen if you hv time -_-) like they can't up to their studio quality..
    Her vocal also quite sharp sometimes..like in the part of "HEllo from the other "siiiidddeee--" the "sidddeeee" part actually showing her vocal quirk. She can sing really low with full tones- that's what I like best from her but sometimes her high notes are sharp and a bit unpleasant in my ears- like my high notes too ^^ so..if Adele can, I can do too ..
    anyway..
    So..
    When I think about her.."what makes her so special?" I don't know, I'm not really following her news/bio..but I bet it has to do with good management. WHo's her handler? They are genius marketers ^^
    Second: Probably she's very charismatic..like she sells with her persona, not her body- notice the difference..ladies
    She confidently put close up photo of her face as her album cover with beautiful eyes starring right at ya..
    "Hello.."
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    Idk, I think she really has "strong" presence..idk what people see with that?
    Thirdly, she's obviously professional and can do job demands awesomely..whether is singing, press conference, talk show..she just done all flawlessly without baggage but a big smile and spontaneous laugh, not canceling appearance in sudden, pretending you're sick- take a note Ariana Grande.
    But Vocal itself is not what makes her unique.
    Vocal, if she only relies on her vocal prowess..I don't think she could be this successful. Too many singers having great/outstanding vocals in the world but they don't have what Adele has ^^
    Re: Thread of Nonsensical Ramblings
    What Adele makes me..? Nothing ^^ I'm just a music consumer, not a fellow label singer.
    She becomes a bit overrated but I believe she's not a fame hunger person..although positive press about her are pretty overrated these days..
    not her fault, right? ^^
    I mean..Adele this Adele that..Adele's new hot bodyguard..Britney Spears kissing Adele's ass, Adele mom's parody, etc..
    AdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdele AdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdeleAdele
    ...
    Speaking of someone says..Adele's "hot" and slutty bodyguard =
    I don't mind, at least it's "Adele" taking headlines. I honestly a bit uncomfortable when Taylor Swift was on the top news mid summer 2015, oh she just grabbed all the Grammies I heard from her disgusting nepotism. I like Taylor Swift's clothes but that's about it, she's absolutely don't deserve a title of "famous singer" occupation..I mean..Taylor Swift songs..
    sounds like knife slicing my heart. Who in here rather get blow up by isis than to hearing "Taylor Swift-Greatest hits" non-stop? ^^
    Omg..words can't describe how horrible Taylor Swift songs are..
    The only exception in "style" (her song) I kind of like "style" although she raped hipster dance-signature sound to becoming her..but a good song/arrangement still a good song. I can think of better singer singing "style" since she's a bit obnoxious to me.
    So in conclusion: as long the artist is tasteful/ nice imo..then I don't mind she/he becoming overrated, no hating! I'm glad that 5 seconds to Mars aren't that famous. I hope they all die with their music genre ^^
    Thank you for killing my boner. -_-
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Cancer..not to be mistaken with Cancerous bastard -_- is the 4th animal included in zodiac wheel.

    They are non-distinguishable people..usually. Nothing extraordinary or strange about them..from the outside/surface look. But if only one could look pass their appearance and know them personally as friend or close person..then you'll realize that Cancerian are a bunch of Weirdos shit they are

    I mean ..they're pretty freaky inside and full of surprise (hence water sign) their emotion is like tidal wave generated by moon, you never can guess..how's their mood turned out. To know a cancer is like to discover the secret of ocean..does every corner of ocean got explored? Hopefully it just a sun-sign because sun in Cancer is less intense than Cancer moon-sign..which is me ^^

    Dressing up a cancer

    Now..so if you born between June 21 - July 22, then you're a Cancer.

    If you a female, you're in love with vintage look from the past because you romanticize nostalgia. Classic feminine dresses from the 50s, lace and velvet.
    If you a male..you tend to be sports/geek nuts..and you're a creature of comfort ..liking hoodies, sports jacket, cap, jeans and khaki..

    you might wearing suit/tie just to fit in although those aren't your natural choice. You're a pretty conserv..ative dresser and you didn't like to be the oddball in the crowd. Basically your clothes must be "normal" and "comfortable"

    but what if..you dress up according to your feeling? To the nature of your zodiac? Of how's everything sewn from the inside?

    Then you'll pretty much don't look like the rest of normal population..

    because Cancer is so weird, so special..and I'm about to show you..how to dress according to your zodiac call ^^- Cancer edition.

    Firstly first..

    Cancer precious gemstone and metal is "Pearl" and "Silver"
    so, those are basic color code to really vibrate with this Cancer whole theme.

    this I got from Carrie's thread awhile ago..

    When I first saw that image..I was like

    soo....Cancer
    with the bulbous pearls pattern, bejeweled sea goodies, etc..and how weird he stare at that runway..

    I think it's good if he wearing crystallized/metallic mask-scarf because Cancer is about incognito..meaning not to drawn attention to his face..

    Another good addition is thousand carat of diamonds/ruby/cubic zircon (economic reason) as hat because the whitish light from the crown will illuminate your entire self-being..

    You can also wearing lobster on top of your head..just like Gagag do here..
    v

    Very Cancer!

    But from the design from Philip Treachy? That fancy hat was designed for woman, hence the curved antennae design..which suggest feminine form. For men, a simple bejeweled moslem hat would do just fine.

    In team sports speaking, American Football really represent Cancer ..I mean..defense, tackle..armor and under armor ^^ pretty much in Cancer domain. Cancer is very defensive, they put their combustive heart inside their armor, not on their sleeves. Private, territorial and will pinch if disturbed..Football is a game full of revenge/unpredictable moves, pretty much what cancer does in defense.

    and nothing suit Cancer better than Football shoulder pads..^^

    I just add on that pic- roughly but I bet y'all already get the idea.
    I found one which resemble Crab-breast plate..totally awesome. That piece was 3d printed- I forgot where I got it or who's the designer but nowadays ..you can get really complex wearable design from 3d printing..

    just like what Nyle de Marco wearing below

    ^ Only spray paint that with silver/tin color.

    In addition, Cancer is also a sign with very heavy connection with "MASK" because their nature..to conceal their true face/vulnerability.

    only make 2 eye holes with your mask, otherwise you won't see anything.

    G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-Syeah.. ^^

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Tell me what color I never see? ^^ I've seen all colors under the rainbow spectrum, nothing left out actually. But even though we (non color blind) have seen all colors in the world, some colors are still intriguing/appear interesting. For example..no one really knows how to describe Taupe..color, can you? Is it grey? Is it egg-plant? Is it greyish pink? brown or green? There are many types of taupes from all color spectrum..but for real, they're simply desaturate colors; they got dull due to mixture with shade of greys..
    But some colors in monochromatic spectrum can't be categorized as Taupe because they're quite light/lighter than Taupe. Athough those colors are similarly dull like Taupe but Taupe seems analogous with darker earth tones. What are they?
    take a look at this underwear for sample ^^:
    Is it grey? Is it very light green? Is it very light tan/gold? No one really knows unless you really look at that piece directly with your own eyes, not from camera/monitor eyes ^^
    My best bet that it has greenish hue..because when photographed in darker environment, it shows:
    or is it simply a very light tan like white gold? I could be wrong.
    Mysterious color indeed.
    And these days I'm in giggity over color like that ^^
    Recently I just brought an eggshell jacket similar to that color but from my eyesight, I'm sure that it's in pure grey spectrum, it won't merging/shimmering to other color ..but it's very light..like futuristic grey. Really kewl
    It just a jacket, I won't go full throttle like a gank of monochromatic bitches..
    ya know Im saying?
    Ok..I've been around for few days, weeks and months..
    part of that because of JUB glitch which I DONT FIND ANY...today...fucking amazing..it's truly cured! Bravo! Awesome
    and part of reason because I've been so busy with my life, meeting guys, work, vacation.. yada yada
    lets cut the chase.. None of those ^ will ever separate me from my depressive mood in JUB. NONE..yes being a wedding planner is hell of a job (one of my friend wed) but that won't change who I really am..= a noisy blogger of JUB
    So what makes me jaded? Or I simply say..Does Americans (center of the world) or the world basically becoming jaded?
    We click the news..it's full of politicians right now, no wonder. But what about entertainment section? Flooding with Kardashians, half baked rumors, over saturated celebrity feud/break up/made up..which we don't know the real deal of it. David Bowie died--- the only significant event happened from past few months but that's it.
    Idk bout you, but I think the world is becoming jaded.
    And that effecting me too..like this astrology reading (not randomly picked- a hard wired original blue print transit reading) warns me..
    Uproar ***
    Valid during many months: A series of sudden and unexpected events will probably strain your nerves to the utmost, making this a difficult time. This is most likely to happen if you have spent the last few years trying to please everyone. Any turmoil in the outside world is merely an indication that you have been seething inside for quite some time. Although it would be understandable if you now felt like packing everything in, this is certainly not the best solution. You will find it hardest to tolerate hypocritical and sanctimonious behavior - whether your own or others'. It is therefore important to clear the air and to honestly consider which aspects of your life reflect your authentic inner nature.
    This influence will help you to scrutinize your ideals and visions, and to take your leave from those which are no longer relevant to any important decisions you have to make. For example, you might find that a political party or like-minded group of people of which you were once a member has lost its appeal. A clear decision to take all your imperfections seriously, and not to make lazy compromises, can be both healing and liberating, helping to give birth to new things in your life.
    :
    I mean last year I still pre-occupied with too far fetch materials which too time consuming yet taking too much dedication to FINISH. For example: few pages back..I promised to give solution in how to completely eradicate Isis..
    Well eventually it's (of course) far more complex than "nuke em all" solution which lead to endless time consuming research in how to defeat Isis..
    It was a mistake to promise such things. This new year I close chapter of offering difficult materials like that, this thread more into having fun, not to frown my brows. I mean..last year I compare Isis with pimple/ulcer which span paragraphs, that's too much
    But at least I have to be responsible with my words.. hmm? Part of my gigitty passion of why Im so gigitty/eager to defeat them..because we know they're annoying as fuck. Secondly: If this a chapter in superhero movie; Superman/batman will defeat them within 2 hours play but reality isn't like that isn't? Yes, we definitely need super hero in action.
    However, alongside my research..some experts suggested much better solution, than me being stuck.
    In the heat of attack:
    http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/16/opinio...-isis-roundup/
    ^
    some of solutions are silly but I like particularly this one:
    How to defeat ISIS
    Sajjan Gohel: Undermine the ISIS brand
    Any international military campaign against ISIS must go beyond just air strikes. But the ideology underpinning ISIS must also be tackled. The groups's half-truths have to be countered and dismantled, otherwise ISIS's global assembly line will continue to recruit and radicalize not just young men, but women and entire families.
    ISIS exploits social media to make inroads in U.S.
    ISIS's ideology and plan of action is based on the treatise "The Management of Savagery," which seeks to "vex and exhaust" its target states and create "savagery and chaos" in order to force the society to "suffer from the absence of security." ISIS is also now advocating marauding mass-casualty attacks that are coordinated, synchronised and aimed at creating economic, political and social repercussions. If it continues to follow this doctrine, then we should expect to see targeted attacks in Europe and North America.
    Obama calls ISIS 'killers with good social media'
    ISIS's greatest strength is its illusion of power, a fact that also makes its brand vulnerable. Various names have been used to assert the terror group's power projection: The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL); Islamic State of Iraq and Syria/al-Sham (ISIS); Islamic State (IS). ISIS endorses the use of all of them because despite nuanced differences, "Islamic State" is attached, creating brand recognition. Therein lies the problem.
    etc..etc..
    Sahar Aziz: Cut off ISIS' funding
    ISIS thrives on two inputs: 1) access to military grade weapons bought with oil proceeds and 2) human recruits vulnerable to succumbing to its warped apocalyptic ideology. U.S. strategy focuses primarily on airstrikes and training local militias. But while this sets ISIS back, it fails to deny them the weaponry and funds they need in pursuit of their nation-building, expansionist agenda.
    Peter Mansoor: Capable ground forces needed
    In his history of the Korean War, historian T. R. Fehrenbach wrote, "Americans in 1950 rediscovered something that since Hiroshima they had forgotten: you may fly over a land forever; you may bomb it, atomize it, pulverize it and wipe it clean of life -- but if you desire to defend it, protect it and keep it for civilization, you must do this on the ground, the way the Roman legions did, by putting your young men in the mud."
    Or sand.
    Drones and air strikes are tools of war, but they are not a strategy. The destruction of the Islamic State requires capable ground forces -- American and European ground forces. Given that the "Islamic State" attacked a NATO member, the member states have an obligation to rise to the defense of France. A good place to start is in the Middle East, where ISIS needs to join the dustbin of history.
    so, because they shed light in the situation..my final stance to defeat them is a combination from some of ideas offered:
    1. Cut their economy
    2. Ground attack
    3. following ground attack: Isolating them, make them lost/ wandering in desert..just like what happened with Khmer rogue..isolate them in jungle, let them go hungry, cranky and mad..trigger their suicidal psychology.
    4. Turning their social media "extremely" unpopular. San Bernardino attack was a prove they gaining sympathizer/popularity..
    Unpopular social media= less threat in homeland security. There is "sacrifice" from government spying civilian's private life but we take the consideration for more important purpose.
    What else..? I think that what we can do this time..
    I'm glad that last christmas/new year- I didn't hear bomb in Times Square New York or ..people set ablaze during christmas celebration. I guess they (parasite) got weakened
    but ..in German, pure aryan/blonde women got groped/mollested by horde of muslim immigrants during New Year's night, at the city of Cologne?
    That incident probably could waking up Hitler from his grave..(if he has any)
