this is a first. the state of pennsylvania is actually about to involuntarily execute somebody tonight who has lost all their appeals in the appeal process.

the first involuntary execution in the northeast tonight??? will it actually happen? unlike the last serious execution, terrance williams, this case is much different. the murderer brutally raped and murdered a young woman and was also incarcerated for another rape. he has also tried to escape jail before. he plead guilty during his murder trial and allowed the state to decide his fate in which he received a death sentence back in 93. his last chance is with the third circuit court of appeals in which is attorneys filed a final appeal saying that he "must" have a stay. my prediction is that the third circuit will dismiss it and pa will actually execute somebody involuntarily. this could be the jumpstart of involuntary executions happening in the state especcially considering that there are several other inmates that are through with the appeal process.

it's a shame that voters chose to keep the death penalty in california. they haven't executed anybody since 2006. there's 700 inmates on death row. might as well give them life sentences because with the legal limbo going on, nobody is going to be executed anytime soon.

something tells me that the state of utah might be executing somebody very soon possibly next year. another firing squad execution perhaps. it would be interesting if an inmate in a state that had a choice to chose gassing or hanging, choosing to die that way. there's an inmate in arizona scheduled to be executed in december. i'm actually hoping that he chooses to die by gas chamber and i'm also hoping that somebody sneaks in a camera phone or whatever to tape his execution secretly.

i'm surprised that nobody's execution has been secretly taped with all the technology that is out. nobody has managed to sneak in a camera/video camera to record a video or snap a photo of an execution since ruth synder. this can't be true.

i'm also tempted to look at that autopsy photo of executed florida inmates that died in the execution chair. saw one photo where they showed an executed inmates left leg calf (that's where one of the electrodes go) and damn, don't fuck with electricity.
