i'd confess something in this thread but you know what, i don't feel comfortable sharing it because i'm afraid someone is going to react to it. if i knew that nobody was going to say anything, i'd spill my guts out.

but i'll confess that i do hold my tounge quite a bit because there's some things i would love to say whether it's a random topic or towards some folks but i learned my lesson already. i'm becoming a better person and saying it would mean that i'm regressing so i'll leave it alone.

if that's the case, then i'll most definitely leave it alone. the way folks describe the stuff is like some mind blowing things. the only reason why i wanted to try it out was to experiment with it and to basically escape life as cliche as it sounds. reality sucks and sometimes, it's hard to handle. hell, the concept that we are all born and will eventually die scares the shit out of me. so scary that there's times where i ask if this is real. like do i only get to be born once, turn 1 once, turn 10 once, turn 14 once and etc. we can't go back in time to rewrite mistakes. the people around me will eventually die and i will too. it's the fact that life is forever changing and death is permanent where you get a certain amount of time to live. the fact that you don't know when you're going to die and it could be at any given minute by any means. it's terrifying. then when you realize all that time you've been busy living for the moment such as drinking and being on the computer, you could have used that time to do something meaningful, productive and something to benefit you and somebody elses existence such helping out the kids or helping out at the soup kitchen. there's times when i'm happy but i get anxious knowing that i'm moving on borrowed time and everyone else is too. hell, just thinking that some day, that i'm going to die just makes me want to get high.

just looking up at the sky and knowing that there's a solar system outthere where there's moons and sheit. things are deep. i know i went off there but i'm afraid, man. that's a part of the reason why i act the way i do. i pretty much live off and in fear.

okay, there's a certain regular poster in here that i seriously think is crazy as in legitmately crazy and now from the look of things, i think he's lying about certain things that he's said too. there was something that they did recently that made me go, okay this guy is truly weird. there's one particular thing that i'm SURE he's lying about. it certainly doesn't add up and i think it's way too good to be true.

there's also another poster that i think has some issues with themselves that they need sorted out. it's nothing personal against them but just observing their behavior, the things they say, how they act towards certain other people and etc, they have issues. one minute, they're saying this and then the next minute, they're basically tripping over themselves. i look @ them like "you okay, man?" you start to wonder if it's not them that turned out to be the common denominator in their little issue or whatever because they certainly aren't the person that they try to paint themselves as.

on that note, i also think there are several regular posters that are actually aliases walking around under disguise because certain things don't add up about them.

it's not you. i would drop a clue but then it would be all too obvious. it's nobody above the age of 30 and certainly not beyond the age of 24. so that leaves anybody born between 1989 to 1994. minus a number and the more likely, the chances of who i'm talking about is more than likely correct. i seriously believe those two are unstable. it takes an unstable person to know an unstable person.

it's that when i say a name. i know what's going to happen. it would be one thing if i could say their names without any drama coming out of it but then it would be shitstirring. i have no problem with those dudes that i'm talking about. it's that they strike me as being off in some shape or form like they have something going wrong up stairs. i don't know who the aliases are but i'm sure they're around here. all the internet forums have them.

but those two guys, i wouldn't be surprised if the first person is indeed someone that is duping us for fun because he loves the attention. i also wouldn't be surprised if the second person pretty much harassed the hell out of the person he doesn't like or held grudges despite the fact that whoever they're beefing with pretty much appeared to have moved on. it's really not that serious where you have to still take shots @ them even after the fact.

Very many times, I've gotten surprised. In the beginning, I thought of Loki as a bad-ass, but last year he chose to show a softer side. It made me see more a three-dimensional picture of him, and now I find him quite interesting. He always has an audience with me.

Similarly, our Lex comes across online as a man with a character of congenial loquacity. But in real life, according to some who have met him, he's quite a reticent man--a man who is difficult to warm up to in the beginning.

I myself come across as a raging bitch sometimes, especially when you bring up my demon, politics. But in real life, I can be quite timid (a trait that I despise about myself), and am never the first guy to start talking.

RJ himself has implied that his offline personality is very different from his online one. Online, he pulls no punches--you never have a shred of a doubt about his opinion. But in person, he says, he oftentimes won't look you in the eye.

So you never know.

The brain prioritizes REM sleep, so when somebody develops sleep deprivation, and then finally gets some sleep, he'll go into REM first.

Hence your woodie.

I know pretty much for a fact that I go into REM sleep immediately, even if I have no sleep deprivation at all. I know this from times when something may wake me up a mere 5 or 10 minutes after I went to sleep - perhaps a phone call, or a train horn, or mice making noises - and I am **ALWAYS** aware that I was dreaming about something already.

The same thing happens on days that I just want to be a little bit lazy, and I'll stay in bed a little while past the time I'm entirely caught up on sleep, and I'll drift in and out for perhaps another hour, waking up every few or 15 minutes, etc. In those cases I am ALSO ALWAYS aware that I was dreaming.

It would be interesting if I did some sleep experiments with brain monitors, to see if I am truly experiencing constant REM sleep. Certainly I am shattering the "rule" that it takes about 90 minutes for the first REM sleep of the night.

(PS you don't mind if I call you Razzie, do you? I find it much easier to type than your full screen name.)

Frankfrank, you brought up some very interesting points that demand answers.

Firstly, science has found that people who fall directly into REM very often suffer from clinical depression. I see you as a beautiful person, and hope you don't suffer from that insidious illness. I can give you some interesting cites if you have any interest in this.

Secondly, typing out Razzie's name may seem more difficult for me because I haven't used QWERTY for years. Like our correspondent Lex, I type on a Dvorak keyboard. "RazorsEdge" is one of those letter combinations that feels more like a tongue-twister on a keyboard than most other words.
