This is terrible news for the WWE, but I think the security staff needs to get reprimanded more than anyone. They failed to be there, not only for the protection of Punk, but for the fans too. Punk is a good guy, and it's good that he apologized for his actions. Hopefully fans realize that you should never get that close to a performer and attack him verbally or physically.

But the guy that Punk hit did not lay a finger on him. Punk reacted carelessly. And it was Punk who went into the crowd. Wrestlers are just asking for it when that happens, regardless whether that was his doing or if he was going by the script. I hope that guy gets a nice chunk out of WWE's pocketbook. Dude is sitting on a goldmine the way I see it and could give WWE hell especially with Linda's senate run coming up

he had elbow sugery so maybe it is a bunch of tapes to keep the arm balanced i did noticed the way he moved his arm he could not rasise his arm very much. but i sure hope it is not tattoos but on the other hand if it is maybe it wont be a bad one when we see the whole thing when he takes his shirt off in a future match.

Yeah, I saw the video, and I know it was that one other guy that bopped him on the head, and not the guy with the camera who got struck. Wrong place, Wrong time is all I can say. One thing is if you go to shows like this I know that you are not allowed to touch the wrestlers. I remember some girls got a little too slap-happy with a male wrestler once, and the emcee said; "Please don't touch the wrestlers!" once the match was over. Unless it's part of the script then I can understand, but WWE did say it was not part of the show.

Yeah, a lot of bland face runs lately. It's like you only get to be two-dimensional if you're a heel. Sheamus is basically the Irish Cena, see as how he's been pullin out the Super Sheamus comebacks as of late. The face characters cater directly to the PG audience though, so I doubt anyone over 12 enjoys the lame jokes and constant smiling.

I think there's nothing to worry about it. If HHH of all people wasn't booked to go over Taker (twice mind you), I highly doubt Cena or let alone Punk will get that honor. No way that streak ends now. But it would be a joke if they gave that rub to Cena or Punk. I accept HHH or HBK beating Taker than I would Cena or Punk.
