I had that thought too... I get the feeling that a lot of his little mishaps in public are really just staged in order to influence his image... or tied to movie openings and all that.

But, dropping a condom at a Disney premier seems... to difficult to think up in advance. I'm inclined to doubt that it was staged.


Also... I'm not sure I see the point. To be honest, nothing about it shocked me. Of course Zac is sexually active... he's 24. That's pretty much the point of being 24. Did we really need that illusion shattered? And, of course he carries around condoms... again, not so shocking.

Maybe this would have done the trick when he was 18, but now... not so much.


Pretty much the only thing that would shock us or change his image now would be a sex tape... but even that... it would probably only help his image.

i liked charlie st. cloud ... it´s a good movie i think... and yeah its kind of depressing but also has some funny parts and a big romantic and kind of weird connection between the brothers and also between charlie and the girl (sry forgot the name XD)
so its defiantly worth a try... if you ask me... and some scenes are hot and sexy as well... if you like zac in a wet white t-shirt

I didn't know much about Orson Welles, other than the fact of his "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast being groundbreaking/terrifying to listeners at the time, and also the weird trivia point that he was the voice of the teaser trailer for the first "Star Trek" movie ever which is a pretty powerful/effective narration IMHO, along with some trippy late-1970s audio effects, lol.



I enjoyed "Me & Orson Welles" if nothing else than a fictionalized account of how he might have been or the dynamics of the time - and I know the actor, Christian McKay, got great praise for taking on a pretty important figure. Also if I can show my JUB membership card and dish fashion, I'm a total sucker for period clothing and Zac had some great fashions in that film including some great checkered coats which I loved.

It's worth seeing for a number of standout elements (and a treat for the eyes, and I say that about the sets, costumes, cinematography, before we even get to Zac - who's another treat on the eyes all alone) even if it somehow doesn't quite...mesh together. And Zac seems to try hard but doesn't quite know what to do with the character or find the character's proper tone. Anyway, eBay is probably flooded with very inexpensive copies or Amazon.com 3rd-party sellers, that kind of thing, maybe your local used music/DVD store or flea market too. If you do see it, let us know your impressions in this thread!
