So I don't know if the thread usually does this, but as all the non-porny other sites I visit do and I have a lot of time on my hands, I did a completely subjective “Best-of/Worst-of” for 2012 updates from Corbin Fisher.

As I don’t have enough money to subscribe to ACS (and Ashley mostly worked on the bi scenes which are discontinued at this stage so I had little incentive to rejoin) or to purchase all the scenes from CFS, I didn’t include those updates in this review.

Hopefully others will react and provide their own overview.

Caveat : I can’t say I’ve looked at every ACM scene that was released this year as some models definitely don’t do it for me so I’m not saying I hold the definitive word! Just my opinion, ladies and gentlemen.


NEWBIES

Best Newbie Solo : TATE GRINDS ONE OUT ACM1120 Tate was yummy to look at (I still find the stills from his photo shoot scorching) but not interested in guy-guy sex. At all.

Best Newbie Action : ANDY’S BLOW-JOB ACM1204 Seemingly a fan favorite if the poll on Corbin’s blog is to be believed but maybe not into the whole “anal sex with guys” thing. I love thick eyebrows so I had to get him on this list.

Best scene Newbie as Top : ELLIOT & HARLEY FLIP FLOP FUCK ACM ACM1166 Not the best-looking models for most but Harley’s parkour video made me a believer and Elliott … rawr…

Least well-engineered Veteran come-back : TAGGING MARIO ACM1121 Boy, wasn’t Mario feeling Cain & Kent in that scene. A pity as I find him very lovely to look at and most of all to hear (his moans were controversial but they really drove me wild).

Worst Veterans scene : CF 9-XXX WORKOUT ACM1155 Want to see what the most bored looking models would look like if they begrudgingly had a gang bang filmed by NDS? CF made your dream come true this year and tried to hype it. The nadir of the “let’s humiliate a model” trend that CF had since late 2011. It seems to have stopped since. So maybe a good thing all in all?

Best scene Veterans : SWALLOWING REED'S LOAD ACM1232 Kent’s eyebrows still scare me but the scene worked for me and Reed almost did not look at the director so Kent must have been doing something right. And yes Reed only graduated to action scenes in 2012, but he soloed in 2011 so I’m not even cheating. Runner-up : AIDEN STUFFS ZEB ACM1134 I don’t like it when the reality am pron model of CF breaks the mold so resoundingly : “just the sex, mam” is just like regular pro pron, i.e. not very interesting anymore in this day and age. But the models are still incredible.

Favorite Veteran : Josh Always the trouper (even when faced with an SS) and the best nose on the planet. Runner-up : Aiden Boy am I glad they stopped with the quintuple climaxes silliness. Aiden is goofy fun on his own, no need to add Cirque du Soleil to his scenes.

Sorely MIA : Campbell That accent! Runner-up : Reece That “I’m baked” humor!


CF SITE OVERALL

Best trend : Return of all-oral scenes. It’s a nice way to feature new recruits treading the waters with veterans, with a minimum of theatrics.

Worst trend : Reinforcing casual racism. Still pandering to their Tea Party subscribers, CF only showcased two POC during the year (from what I can tell) : Sloan (who would not stand for BB, yeah him) and Dixon. As I liked both of them, it makes me feel bad to support a company with low ethics (yep, we’re still talking pornography here). And let’s not forget : they hired a Nazi model. Or do I repeat myself?

Strangest marketing tool : CF launched a promo blog without telling anyone who wasn’t on social media. And had pretty big plans for it too, as they were shooting, editing and scoring exclusive scenes for it in the beginning. Shades of Unlimited but not as short lived.

Least consumer friendly move : CFSelect still features a measly four screencaps for their updates, mostly focusing on body parts. No promo screens are seemingly released to blogs for PR/promo, so forum word-of-mouth is the only way to find out if you should consider purchasing these expensive exclusives (as CFS are not rated by the subscribers, just ranked by sales, not even cumulatively). As if iTunes would only sell tracks that were not playing anywhere else and only offered the cover art as a sample. Just plain weird…

Most subscriber friendly move : CF listened to statsguy and implemented a models commentary feature through Pete’s Attic. Yeah statsguy!

I don't think you'd be tipping your hand if you disclosed the name of the site. And of course the interview is in the public domain, so the model's privacy is already compromised. If it's CF, I might guess Trevor, who while many's favorite was certainly no more popular than Lucas, Brent, TJ, Nick, etc. I can't think of a single CF model who stands out to the degree you describe, or for that matter a SC, CD, Chaos model, etc.

I did a completely subjective “Best-of/Worst-of” for 2012 updates from Corbin Fisher.

Along those lines, I had some downtime and decided to clean up my storage; I deleted a bunch of files, basically CF's whole Riley/Avery/Skye oeuvre. It wasn't the fact that these guys were gay that bothered me, it was their dubious masculinity and that other tiny, little problem they shared. Blake is my only disk survivor from CF's summer twink fiasco.

Two guys, rarely mentioned, I wouldn't mind seeing more of: Stefan and Max. But they're long gone.
