I want to think he's not but some of his Twitter posts suggest he should take a step back before tweeting since currently he is the face of the company and as that you can't just tweet anything you like in their name. Some followers are even worse and with Twitter you get a snowball effect that eliminates responsibility and reason along the way.

Somehow CF's philosophy is doing something to the guys working there, I can't say what but when your make a product with a shaky stance in today's society (that being 'gay' and 'pornography') then the last thing you want to do is piss off your customers or create a deconstructive approach on human desires. Just because you 'can' make a lot of money with (gay) pornography doesn't make it right to shun all its critics, not when they try to help you improve your business in a somewhat unsupportive world.

I want to believe this thread provides them with enough suggestions and feedback (we now know they read it) but if Mr. Fisher and his crew prefers to see (some of) us as trolls then they shouldn't be surprised if some of us will rather take our money to Mr. Blue or Mr. Cody. At least one of them has loosened its ethic.

I just looked, he had three tweets about the comment, and it did feel like he was taking shots at the other people who post in this thread.

But that's the attitude, Corbin's always had this, "The fans are monsters and I'm not going to listen to them" mentality when it comes to dealing with his audience. Maybe after a while, that's not such a good thing (when's Damian coming back for his next scene, eh Mr Fisher?).

Obviously there's a major distinction between 'tentative' and 'repulsed'. 'Tentative' may be the quintessential element of the hottest scenes from the Golden Age, where you sensed that the guys were being held back by some Super Ego that was telling them you can't be into this! It's a moth-to-the-flame curiosity. Nick's best scenes also have this sense. Perhaps this affect was the director at the time's intention, but I don't think it's something that can be directed, at least not with amateur performers. It's more a sense on the director's part that a straight-identified model had a hidden agenda -- "okay, I know you're 'straight' . . ." And I think most of them basically were. They just had to get the curiosity out of their systems.

Whoever is directing these days' doesn't seem to place a premium on curiosity, occult or otherwise.

No disrespect but whether it be the 'Golden Age' or not, I never found the CF experience to be that profound (but have no qualms if that was the case for other subscribers). I suspected that TPTB were holding some back to counterbalance the outgoing personalities of its models that really brought it in their scenes (Brent, Logan, Derek, Joel, Dave, Ryan, Lucas, Dawson).

I really could care less about what Pete "tweets" about me or others, if that be the case. Perhaps if Pete or Chip or whomever would respond to the queries that people send them, then there would be no reason to get upset or annoyed or aggravated. I find that if you speak to everyone in a non-judgmental, non-accusatory tone they tend to respond faster, more kindly and more often. It is when we talk down to the "service providers" like we are owed something that they stop being kind, responsive and helpful and start treating you like you are treating them.

This is porn. Not saving the world, not saving babies or curing cancer. Nobody owes you anything. Treat people like people and they will generally treat you the same. If I were Pete, Corbin or Brian I would stop responding to emails too. Otherwise they just reward your shitty behavior and you continue to think that's how to go about getting what you want.

The trips are not for extra profits. It is to give the guys who work at CF more incentive to stick around, have fun, get something "more" out of working there. They don't charge any extra money on the videos, they're the same CFSelect price as any other. There is not much one can do to make the porn CF produces anything other than what it has been. The excitement used to be college aged straight guys exploring gay sex. We've moved past that now, and the "fans" are not pleased with the results. That's not Corbin's fault, it's the climate - we are no longer shocked by what these guys are willing to do, and they are no longer "ashamed" to be there. Changing the venue is the only way they can shake things up.

The "gimmick" of going to other countries to shoot gay porn is that it is not as accepted in the countries they travel to.

And last. We do not know what really goes on behind the scenes at CF. All we know is what they want us to see. Pete's attic, the videos, even the productions they do "on the farm" and in Costa Rica are not reality. Despite all the complaints, bitching, throwing Corbin, Pete, Brian and the core performers on the shit list that day, week, hour, under the bus, everyone here is still talking, still a member, hell one guy has spent countless hours trying to get his subscription to go through. If CF was such a shithole of a company wouldn't we all have gone away by now? They're doing something right.

Honestly I don't think that's the case. Corbin Fisher's customer service has sucked for the past 1-2yrs.... and Sean Cody's has been arguably a lot better.

Yet neither seem to significantly effect their overall customer basis. For instance:

I really think that this thread is one of the most powerful promotion tool that CF has (and doesn't have to pay for) : it seems to be one of the most popular forum for JUB, it seems to be constantly quoted in other blogs (that's how I discovered it anyway) and it is self-sufficient : a marketer's dream!

I don't get the hate from Excelsior at all : yes, stats is going to air your dirty laundry from time to time but there are no personal attacks on the personnel or the models contrary to all the other blogs. I like it here because everyone seems so well behaved.

My experience with them shows just how bad it is dealing with them concerning issues. It's not a good sign when customer. service doesn't even attempt to solve the issue. I mean just sitting in front of the computer doing the absolute best they can to he;p resolve the issue speaks volumes about the people they contract to take care of this part of their business. If people are not able to use Netbilling then THEY are losing money which I would think they would want to patch up that leaky hole, to make money and not lose it.

They never got back to me either. My Issues were not resolved. The only time I spoke to them I was calling. Not them. I was told I had to contact the main site, because they couldn't do anything. They said I could contact the main CF site, WhichI did and told that they could not do anything. They did tell me that I was more then welcome to join the ACM site though. I responded that the movies I wanted was on the CFS site and I have never heard from them again.

As far as Pete is concerned the way he handled things was tacky and just rude. If you have an issue with a poster then take it up with that poster. Attacking people on a site and on a certain forum there seems to be a problem distinguishing between a clever and witty response and basically shitting on a Forum, The Topic of CF and the members who at some point or another are die hard fans and Members on ACM/ACS sites and those same people who pay additionally pay for videos not on those cites but rather ON CFS.

This kinda of reminds me of Jasun. If Pete isn't a share-holder or BF or BFF of CF then he shouldn't start treating people like shit. If people don't like what was posted then, bring up the issue if you feel you need to do so, but to make others look or feel bad when they were not repeating the guys post or anyone agreeing with him is just wrong.

I for one didn't lose my shit when he posted that post to twitter. But, I guess since there seem to be so many people kissing Pete's ass he feels entitled to slam entire forums. I do not work for CF - in my experience when I spoke with the support team in a well-mannered, non-name-calling way and simply explained my issue they resolved it. Within 24 hours. No muss, no fuss.

Just because the product changed due to the difference in the guys they are bringing in - less 'aw shucks a dick in my ass, why I just couldn't imagine' to 'ya sure I'm up for it' - not CF's fault. As a society we are changing our views about "gay." If CF brings in guys who act like they're not into gay sex they get lambasted. If they bring in guys who are a little more femme but totally down for the gay stuff, they get lambasted. They bring in guys who are up for whatever, they get lambasted.

These guys cannot win for anything here, and yet you still cannot understand why they won't return emails and talk to you guys like you're owed something. There's nothing they can do to please you.

Tell them you have been through all the customer service support issues and it is not resolved, and it is time someone in the tech support department help you resolve the issue. Do not ask for Bonnie or anyone in the customer service department. Go directly to tech support. And do not give up until someone in that department is on the line with you going over your problem.

Stop trying to enter your address 100 different ways. The system is going to continue to freak out because you have been trying too many times and getting a security kick back message. The more you continue to do this the more the system will think you are a fraudulent person trying to get passed their security measures.

As a society we are changing our views about "gay." If CF brings in guys who act like they're not into gay sex they get lambasted. If they bring in guys who are a little more femme but totally down for the gay stuff, they get lambasted. They bring in guys who are up for whatever, they get lambasted.

Lets see, Sloan has been one of the most popular dudes talked about here with us wanting him to come back, and yet hes gay and a little feminine. Quinn is gay and is doing pretty well, with people loving his scene with Kent. Jamison was well liked and he was gay and kinda sounded like a girl when he was fucked, but we all still liked him.= and think hes hot. We all knew about Josh, and Chandlers interview he basically said hes a bit bisexual, and yet they are pretty popular. The issue lies where you get either someone so busted or you get someone who you obviously know isnt having a good time (and repeatedly week after week). Give me Sloan and Jamison over Connor and Tom any damn day.

These guys cannot win for anything here, and yet you still cannot understand why they won't return emails and talk to you guys like you're owed something. There's nothing they can do to please you.

I, for one, never quite got the unabashed Pete worship that's always gone on in this thread. I think he's just as much of a douchebag as the rest of the upper management over there. The kind of attitude that's been on display at CF for, at least, the past 18 months is the type of entitled disdain that tends to infect an entire staff.

I never thought he was God's gift to gay porn, but I liked the idea of a model graduating to camera-person (and then occasionally dipping back in front of the camera).

But you're exactly right. It feels like Corbin's (long established) contempt for his audience has filtered down to Pete and the rest of the staff.

Well, they could try just making decent porn. The most frustrating thing about this is that they used to. But then they blew all their money on a move to Las Vegas that hasn't paid off, lawsuits that probably cost more than they earned back, barebacking scenes with a production-crew that have no idea how to film or edit them, and talent that just isn't there any more.

Just nasty, and I'm glad that we don't often go there. We might not agree all the time, but I like that we're somewhat civilized about it.

Speaking of civilized, I really debated on bringing up the Pete tweet, but in the end decided he should be called out for lambasting the entire thread, instead of the one post that he had an issue with. I think he's an OK guy, I just think he's like other people I know; if you don't think like him and agree with him, you're stupid, ignorant, or crazy.

Anyway. Now that Pete thinks I'm a troll who complains all the time...

There are a couple of scenes lately that I really, really liked.

The Trey/Chandler scene, firstly. The sex was a bit rougher than what I'm normally into (but hey, the guys were having a good time). I liked the premise (as the write-up hinted, if only a CF model showed up every time you were looking at porn). But mostly, I liked the hair-styles. I know I've never been a huge fan of Chandler, and while I still don't think he's the most handsome guy in the room ... I love his shorter hair. It's not as long as it used to be, and I really like it, I think it really suits him. He looks great. Also, Trey's new hair is incredibly sexy. I liked that too.

Secondly, the Aiden/Chandler "Under the Sheets" scene (I know, two Chandler scenes). Aiden topping FTW. Again, Chandler's shorter hair is a good look on him. More to the point, this scene was great because of the sense of realism. It felt like two hot guys woke up horny, and decided to have a quicky before breakfast. And the sheets as a prop -- it worked! I loved the part where they're going at it missionary style, and Aiden pulls the sheets up to his waist. The camera-person had to focus on the two guys kissing and making out, while Chandler's legs are locked around Aiden's waist. That was great.

(I also liked the shot of Aiden going down on Chandler under the sheets, because it looked like Chandler's dick was larger than Aiden's head. Hehehe)

I liked the scene so much, I think I prefer it when Chandler bottoms. I know, he's hung like a Brontosaurus so he's the Power Top, but I think I enjoy the shift of taking a power-top, and having him on the receiving end (and it's not like Aiden isn't similarly well-endowed).

So yeah.
