Former big fan here. Nando hasn't played good tennis regularly in about 2 years now, and hasn't won a title in 3 years. I'm no longer disappointed at any bad result that comes from him...

Re: International Tennis Stars
Can't believe it is the same guy who was reaching the Australian Open semis those years ago. Such a shame because he was an exciting player to watch at his best.
I've now decided that Ryan Harrison is the cutest thing I've ever seen on a tennis court. He just looks like he needs a hug and that's even before he has lost. Credit to him for at least using some tactics against Rafa Nadal even if he did come out of it the loser.
Well done Rafa, lots to improve on - especially if he is going to beat Gulbis in two rounds time.

Re: International Tennis Stars
It's true. Nando's got among the most talented serves and forehands on the tour. He spent over 100 weeks in the top 10 in total from AO '09 onwards. AO '09 was his best slam, but his best stretch of results was the 2010 clay season where he reached Monte Carlo F, Rome SF, won Barcelona and reached the final of Nice (
), with the only real dip being in Madrid. 2010 was also the only year he won more than one title (he won two
).
But after 2010, it all turned to shit. It started with the '11 San Jose final loss to the then-newcomer Raonic. I think he wasted 4 SPs in the first set TB. That loss marked the day I stopped being a big fan. I've never been the same towards him since then. Then he faced Raonic again the very next week in the first round of the next tournament and lost to him again. All the while, after the San Jose loss, he complained about Raonic's style of play (all serve) and said that it wasn't 'real tennis'. That lead to some ridicule.
He reached (and lost) 2 other finals in 2011 but it was a pretty shit year. 2012 was even worse (only one final), and 2013 is worse still. Even in his best seasons he was still quite inconsistent. His best results were good, but he had stretches for weeks where he'd play like crap, and the amount of matches he's lost while holding SPs, MPs or big leads is quite staggering. If he wasn't such a headcase, you could possibly have added another 50 or so career wins to his tally I reckon. Not to mention more titles. His record in finals is shocking.
Excuse the long post. I love to share my thoughts on Nando
.

Re: International Tennis Stars
I honestly think it boils down to confidence. For a man who looks like he has it all he certainly doesn't always carry himself like a man who believes he is a winner. Shame because after yesterday I only see him falling further down the rankings.

Re: International Tennis Stars
I'd probably agree I'd like to see a bit more meat on Novak, but I just love his personality and think he is a lovely guy who is great with his fans which makes him so appealing. Also, the way his butt looks in those shorts is amazing. Not sure his shorter hair does him too many favours but he is still one of the hottest out there for me.
There are a lot to choose from though aren't there and every time you guys post some new pics I am left drooling.

Novak's lean ness is what allows him to be so flexible- he may look too lean- but there isn't an inch of flab- it's all muscle- true, he doesn't look as good- but I'd rather have his results than someone else's ody.

This is how he looks like and there's no point in getting bigger, at least it wouldn't help him with his tennis skills and def not in getting sexier etc. Tennis players tend to be skinny, slim. I'm not counting Tsonga and Nadal and few others in top 20, but most of them are really thin, due to special kind of physical activity in tennis.
Now, about Tsonga. His body is absolutely amazing and he could do all kinds of things with me. I wouldn't mind. Sweaty, smelly, I don't care.

Great result for Rafa, definitely playing really well. They can make as many excuses as they want for Federer but you can tell when someone is hitting the ball well and moving comfortably. Nadal will have to play well against Berdych but as was said he's not got a great record against Rafa
