The question has come up a couple times about which pic is whom...I normally post 5 pix when avail & will name them when it's not obvious from left 2 right...I usually embed a single pic (smaller than original of course :-() of the shot I think is the most fun or best quality or maybe just random depending on my mood
Some bulge pix of Delray players

This win moves Horacio 30 points to a near career high of 43 in the world (has been as high as 41). Coupled with his success in DC I think this will give him a major boost 4 the remainder of the year. Here r some pix I took of him @ last years Sarasota Open.

Gasquet has been slipping in the looks department- always had a bad chest- although that's getting better- his face seems less something- maybe it's aging and the starting of a receeding hairline- the legs and ass are still- fortunately, first class.

I never found Gasquet particularly amazing in the face. I mean he's standing next to Paire and IMO the difference is like night and day

It was always the arse with gasquet! Lorenzi looks like a goblin, really not blessed but at least it looks like he cut his hair a bit.
Thanks for all the pics

Re: International Tennis Stars
Nando lost 1R of San Jose to Tim Smyczek (ranked 105) in 2 sets. That man is one HOT MESS, literally
. I've really lost the energy to keep following his career too closely. Too many disappointments that he never seems to learn from...
Glad to see Dimitrov doing well in Rotterdam and also Gulbis shockingly qualifying and reaching the second round (too bad he must face Delpo now). Gulbis has been in a mother of slumps since upsetting Berdych at Wimbledon last year, and he's got so much talent. He's like Nando really, except I guess he's younger and has more time to right the ship.

Re: International Tennis Stars
Sadly I think Nando is donzo, not sure he will get back to being a regular member of the top 20 because it is only getting tougher. I think a lot of it is confidence, to play like he does he needs total confidence and you can see how much he doubts himself these days.
I don't know much about Gulbis but maybe he needs a tougher coach to instill some discipline? I know he is a party boy.

Pam Shriver summed up Gulbis pretty well- saying- since dad has billions- he's never had to fight for anything- so when he has to on court- he usually frizzles.

Pam Shriver's to be taken with a grain of salt, but this could be true I guess. He'd still have to work very hard to get even near the top 100 though. Money can't buy a tennis career or wins over Djokovic and Federer
. He'd still have to put in the work.

Well, keeping it real Nando even at his best time in the top 10 still had heaps of periods where he'd just play like rubbish for weeks. And the amount of matches he's lost from a winning position is staggering. I reckon if he wasn't such a choker, he'd probably have at least 50 more career victories.
Still, occasionally he'd give you a good result that made it all worth-it somehow (like the 2010 clay season, or those 2 USO quarterfinals). Not anymore.

hard work is different from fight/determination...he could just be really talented and coasted on it because he's not a fighter- read Martina's book- she had all the talent in the world- but didn't start working hard til 81- she already won Wimbledon twice.....

He just lost a close match with Del Potro (6-7, 3-6). Let's hope (well, I hope anyway) it's finally the start of some good form for Ernests

I was lucky to have seen Gulbis win both times I had the chance 2c him play in person...the best was the match against Harrison in the 1st rd of Delray a couple years agothat led to him winning the title there.
With my trip 2 Delray just a week off now I thought I would post some past winners from the over 20 yr old tournament

Simon Aspelin - 05 dubs champ w/ Todd Perry
Martin Damm - 02 dubs champ w/ Cyril Suk

First Time Slam Winner - None
Australian Open - Novak Djokovic
French Open - Rafael Nadal

US Open - Novak Djokovic
Most Titles - Rafael Nadal
Nadal has very little to defend hence less pressure can shoot for the moon. Also feel he will be more hungry and done thorough homework on the Top 3
CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Looks like the Year End no.1 ranking wont happen, also dont think either Tsonga and Gasquet will fall out of Top 10 but I guess it depends on Raonic. Otherwise the rest of the presdictions are on track

This is older, but funny Head advert with Novak and Maria. They are quite the flirtatious ones aren't they?
And poor Novak's balls at the end...I'll kiss them all better.

I love those vids of Novak and Maria, I think she has a better sense of humour than people give her credit for. Nole's humour goes without saying.
Don't know how many of you guys watch the women's tennis but I think it has been great this past two weeks. Particularly, this week with a lot of all-court tennis played. I love Kvitova, devastating when on form and can do anything with the ball. Good signs for the game, I hope Miami and Indian Wells live up to expectations, I love those events. Great settings for tennis and both men and women, could be great.

I love Petra! She's so similar to Berdych who I also love. The quiet manner they go about their business during matches, and their quiet fistpump to their entourage after a good play is almost identical.
Petra also got rid of that annoying, obnoxious Sara Errani
