I always liked Chardy. He's so up and down though that I could never become a full-time fan. Del Potro hits very hard but he doesn't go for winners early in rallies, so Chardy did well to 'hurt before being hurt'.
Del Potro is so nice though. I can't think of anyone who dislikes him, so I'm a bit sad he lost .
Loved the match between Fed and Tomic. The legend wins again, and good, as Bernie did a bit of trash-talking before the match. Puts Tomic back in his place.
Great stuff yesterday & it looks like a geat 2nd week coming up
Here's some pix
These players fell short of making it 2 week 2 of the Australian Open
Juan Martin Delpotro, Bernard Tomic, Philipp Kohlschreiber, Gael Monfils & Blaz Kavcic
Amazing match right now but Wawrinka is SUCH a choker. 4-4 in the fifth, has 4 BPs. Bizarre happening though - one of the BPs his return was called long so he looks at umpire and umpire said 'yes it was out', but replay showed it was in. He should've broken there or at least point replayed but the idiot didn't challenge...
Still can't believe it, what an idiot...
What a freaking match! Glad Novak won but feel bad for Stan the Man there. Stayed up tonight to watch this EPIC.
Yeah Novak lucked out tonight. A bad call Stan didn't challenge could've changed the outcome. He's also rather lucky Stan made errors on almost all of his break points...
Stan is cute though. I think he has 'rock star' kind of appeal. At least he has that going .
Stan does have a sexy look to him; he kinda reminds me a little of Ryan Phillippe sometimes actually.
Even if Stan won that point, it most likely would been replayed, as Novak had a play on that ball. It's not like Stan would have automatically broken Novak for 5-4. But I agree it was a bad call at an important time and Stan really should have used the challenge system.
Julian Reister again...just look at those lips...
Nole was a bit lucky Wawrinka didn't challenge that point...
nataku, thanks for the pics of Nole. That man just does something to me. He has a "hardening" effect on me. Thank you again.
novak looks b etter than ever in those pics, thank you. and what a relief he is through. i'm now less convinced he's going to win the event though.
can anyone get decent pics of tomas berdych legs? whoever designed his new shorts deserves a medal, it just shows what we are missing out on with these ridiculously long and baggy shorts they all wear.
Novak relaxing (in the nude it seems) after the epic match. If only the towel slipped off (it might have...when the photo wasn't taken).
Maybe Djoker will be tired and Berdych will take him out...
I mean I don't dislike Djoker but I'd really like an interesting tournament for once - not the same old outcomes all the time.
BTW nice, I didn't know Joe Jonas was muscular .
I was rooting for Novak cuz I like him but I did feel bad for Stan, especially it looked like he was tearing up as he walked off the court. Stan has the game to be at the very top but his consistency and mentality is what's preventing him from getting there.
I honestly don't know if Djoker will be tired for the next match. We have seen this script before. Novak goes through a marathon match and then is fresh as a daisy for the next one (Rome 2011, epic semis against Murray, then crushes Nadal in finals....and AO 2012, basically same with marathon semi against Murray, then another marathon record-breaker final against Nadal).
There are a lot of Joe Jonas muscular/shirtless pics out there. I wouldn't exactly say he's "muscular"....just toned, and some nice arms lol. Check out his March 2011 beach photos with Nick if you haven't before. I have tons of JJ pics at the ready but I'll refrain from posting them since this is a tennis thread.

a few more pix
Tipsarevic will have 2 do better than rd of 16 to stay top 10
These guys also had decent runs that ended in the 4th rd
Richard Gasquet, Kei Nishikori, Gilles Simon, Andreas Seppi & Stan Wawrinka
great pcture. i couldn't help wondering what it would be lik trying to satisfy him in bed during that match - he goes for hours!
I see a white strip like thing on his waist- could be underwear...but it is a locker room- guys are naked there

& a few other ice bath examples
Rendy Lu, Christian Lindell, Janko Tipsarevic & Duke University's DJ McCall & Rafael Hemmeler
Though we still don't see a bulge from Berdych I did notice that Delpotro was also wearing a new style of shorts (kinda jerzy like) that showed he does indeed have a bulge & an ass
here r some pix from Juan Martin's short (no pun intended) run in Melbourne
Some more shenanigans from the locker room:
I see Monfils and Djoker...who's the guy in the middle?
i think he was a judo or mma fighter and this was a few years ago i think. very hot, would liike to have seen the three of thm in the shower
thanks for the tomaspics, his legs are stunning
TBH I was a bit mad with Berdych after the QF last night. Not because he lost but because after he won the second set playing good tennis he just faded, and lost the third in what seemed like 10 minutes with no fight
I would love just one night with Tsonga. He's so hot!
Fantastic that Serena is out, especially to Sloane who seems like such a lovely girl. Shame Tsonga didn't take Federer out but hopefully Murray wil do the business. I can honestly say I've no idea who's going to win men's or women's now.
I only have high interest in tennis if Serena, Andy or Roger are playing otherwise if I miss it,so be it. I will catch the replay online. I hate Serena is out but that's ok, less tennis I have to keep up with now. I can now focus on the men's. As long as Fed or Murray win's I'm good but I'm sure Nole will make it to the final. It boggles me how players get so close and then go away. I just knew Stan had Nole beat. I also hope Sloane wins or at least doesn't get beat too badly by Vika and if noises bother her, she is in for a world of hurt playing Vika or Maria but hopefully she will make it to the final.
He got that thickness, the kind that make you get up makin' biscuits with breakfast, so gone - Jill Scott - So Gone
More AO pix
Marcos Bagdhatis/Grigor Dimitrov, Bernard Tomic, Roger Federer, Tomas Bellucci & Paul Henri Mathieu
I'm such a complaining bitch I know, but is anyone else disappointed that after so many opportunites for several players, it's still the same old players in the SF? Novak, Roger, Murray, and the next highest seed Ferrer...
Btw, I really dislike Azarenka. Taking that MTO to throw off Sloane's momentum is a low move. Vika needs to get her lies straight. First it was the two injuries timeout, the rib and the knees. Then it's her having a hard time breathing. And laughing a lot while telling that lie to the interviewer.
I hope Li Na takes out Vika in the final. Pretty please with cherry on top.
What a beatdown Novak gave to David. Total annihilation. Played out of this world. Hot.
(but poor David).
Djokovic was awesome, never in doubt. If I get Murray in the final I'll be happy whoever wins although leaning towards Novak as always.
I'm feeling kinda smug cos I predicted Li Na in a final, Sharapova was poor against her today. I'm convinced Sharapova goes to pieces when someone is hitting hard at her. That's why I think she won hte French because it is isn't as easy to hit someone off the court there.
As for Vika, it's nothing almost all the other players haven't done at some point including someone like Henin who still had saintly status at the end of her irritating career. Women's tennis has been pretty shit for most of this tournament. Not one memorable match that was memorable due to quality and to have two semis where the losers won only nie games is just an embarrassment. Equal prize money my arse.

Tsonga looking better than ever in those pics btw, thank you for those.
I was definitely hoping Sloane would beat Azarenka- I would have watched the final- NO SCREETCHING!!!!!!!!
Women's tennis has been shit for years- I just can't take the screetches
