^ yeah it's the one that aired march 2/2012.

Honestly, it was my favorite episode to date. So good.

But it sucks that they constantly have to tone down the fantasy/supernatural elements of the show. Ugh. Whatever. As long as it stays fun and doesn't become too much like a boring cop procedural show I'm fine.

And yeah, David Guintoli has really grown on me. I thought he was dull at first but now...I think he is so adorable. ^_^

Took me awhile to actually check the show out, but once I started watching it on OnDemand, I almost had to force myself to stop watching. It's pretty rare for a show to hold my attention enough to sit through multiple eps in one sitting.

Boo! But yeah I totally get what you mean about his mother. There is something off about her...

About the move to Monday, I hope it doesn't screw up the show's ratings because it was already performing strongly on Friday nights. But more people will have access to it on Monday so I hope it all works out well for the show in the end.

I just can't get over the naming thing. I understand that the point was to create a separate mythology or something, but they could have done better than giving creatures names that translate to things like “demonfire”, “ugly”, “bloodbath”, and “foxbuilding”. It looks like an interesting show otherwise. Definitely has a similar feel to things like Angel or Supernatural, which is a plus.

Yeah, I am so glad they got that out of the way. I love how Hank is included in the gang, now. His reactions to everything are pretty hilarious and I love how Nick is teaching him all about what he knows. They actually seem like legit partners now whereas before Monroe and Nick seemed like a better match since Hank had to be excluded from so much.

^ The actress was recently promoted to series regular, last I heard. I don't think she'll be leaving anytime soon if the show gets more seasons.

I really can't stand the character. And Claire Coffee's terrible acting.

Then let's lock her up in Monroe's basement, bound inside a crystal ball or something, so she can't move or do anything except when they ask her a question, which she refuses to answer until they put the crystal ball in the fire, and when she screams for them to stop they get their answer.

I hate this character so much. I want someone to torture her to death.

I feel your pain. I guess for now we're stuck with her but, on the bright side, the character seems easily disposable. Let's hope she has a satisfying death in store for us. And that her appearances are super limited.

In the mean time, I'll just focus on being bummed out that Grimm is going to return in January. When they wrote 'To be continued...Sorry' I wasn't aware of the hiatus. That's going to be a long wait. Sigh.

Yeah, I think that's what the "Sorry" was for.

And I'd just like to point out that Amber Benson was a regular on Buffy for just one episode--the one where her character was killed. This was so they could pay her what they felt she deserved for the work she did (i.e. more than she would have gotten for being a recurring and not appearing in any more eps after that).

Hope springs eternal that that's what they're doing with this actress on Grimm.

^ That's good to know. I honestly can't see how they can keep the whole "she's a lawyer for the royal family" thing going for a long period of time. It's not even interesting to begin with...Plus, Nick stole her Hexenbiest powers so she isn't even interesting in the supernatural sense either.

Actually, that's one of the main things that hasn't appealed to me about Grimm yet-- those Royals and all those exchanges they have in French. I find it all quite boring in comparison to all the stuff that focuses on the crew (Nick, Hank, Monroe and Juliette) getting work done in Portland.

Just found out...

It was supposed to return in January but NBC had to shuffle around its schedule for the premiere of some new show called Do No Harm, about a Dr. Jekyll/Mr.Hyde type neurosurgeon guy. So, Grimm is put on hold.

The new return date = March 8, 2013.

I just did a 5 episode marathon and caught up with all the new episodes until I got to the finale where I screamed WHAT! when the "to be continued" scrolled on screen.

Dammit.

Adelind is annoying but she's supposed to be. The previews for the upcoming shows look damn good. I am highly looking forward to Captain Renard and Juliette getting down, not because I like that them together but because we get to see a shirtless Sasha Roiz. Yum.

According to TV By The Numbers, it is performing well and is in the "certain to be renewed" category. They're usually very accurate with their estimations.

So far, it seems like we'll be getting a S3. Honestly, the show keeps improving, it has pretty solid ratings and a Friday night time slot isn't very competitive.

For several years I was a writer for entertainment Web sites so I got to be on conference calls for a bunch of TV shows. My first big story when I started my own site was about Grimm - I was on several calls with David and Russell (Hank) and David, Russell and Sasha (Renard) and then Bitsie Tulloch (Julliette) on her own. Now, it may be because the calls are tough, I cringed often at the questions and remarks my fellow media folks were throwing out there, but Russell, Sasha and David had great senses of humor about all of it, and Bitsie was "cold" and much more serious. I think there my be more of a disconnect there. Granted she's the only lead female on the show right now, with Bree Turner's character off helping her aunt heal. So there's also a boys club feel going on.

But. That all being said. There's more chemistry between Julliette and Renard than there ever was between Nick and Julliette, magically enhanced or not...

Anyway those are my thoughts. I too had thought David G was gay but never really looked into it. I may be mistaken but the show creators/showrunners are a gay couple. Don't hold me to that though, I haven't looked too far into that either...
