I was looking for a thread to talk about the show and didn't see one! No one is watching? Or everyone just forgot to start a thread... I think it's much better than New York. It looks like they're keeping the one female in the group from now on. But Ashley is gorgeous! Chase is personally my favorite, he has a hilarious sense of humor and seems to be much more light hearted about things, and smart. What does everyone else think of the show so far?

OMG, I love Chase!!! His personality is awesome and he's eccentric hot!!! I like Ashley as well. Her and Chase bring the humor to the show without even trying!! The whole 12 people for a flash mob had me rolling!!!

Phillip is fake! fake! fake! I can't stand him and neither can anyone in the cast. He tries too damn hard to be flamboyant and fabulous and it comes across all wrong. You can tell when someone is naturally flamboyant or acting fake flamboyant and he is totally fake! Fabu who the hell says that!

Taylor is just like Chase said "Overly Tan and thinks he's cute". He's like a young Beverly Leslie from Will and Grace. I hate the way he talks and that damn bow tie!! I hate the way he rubs in his relationship with Levi to James. I mean there is marking your territory and then there is straight up being a bitch. He's being a bitch.

Levi is a slut and his laugh scares me. I don't get what is so hot about the guy. He's bold as hell to just straight up lie about not doing it with James in front of everybody. So they didn't go all the way. Last time I checked getting your dick sucked still qualifies as sex. He makes me want to take back every bad thing I've ever said about Reichen.

James is a lush plain and simple. . He's sprung on Levi (again I don't get it) and has this single white female/the crush thing going on. Taylor needs to watch his back but in this case Taylor might deserve whatever he gets.

All in all, I can watch it. Just for the simple fact that I have a little crush on Chase and his friendship with Ashley just works. James keeps me intrigued at what he's gonna do next so I guess thats a plus. Levi and Taylor fit into James storyline so I have to tolerate them. Phillip though makes me want to punch things. So far the whole A-list series has done minorities all wrong. Hopefully the 3rd version of the A-list that's in the works will fare better in that department.

Yeah Phillip is disgusting. I agree with you guys about him, I do cringe every time he comes on screen. However the rest of the cast is likeable for different reasons, in my opinion. I think the attraction to Levi comes from him being crazy masculine and having a big dick. And he is probably only a manwhore because he admitted that he had strong feelings for Taylor who screwed him over the first time they tried to be in a relationship together. Taylor definitely seems like the kind of guy who uses people. Definitely a little manipulative, and thinks he's hotter than he actually is. He could be sweet if he lost that shallow mindset. James is a mess yeah, I'm not sure where that comes from, obviously someone fucked him over bigtime because he is a major alcoholic, I mean taking your own booze into a restaurant that doesn't serve liquor, at noon...yeah way overboard. But I get that it sucks for him to have Taylor rubbing in the fact he can get Levi whenever he wants and James can not. And Ashley just cracks me up all the time. "Just give it all to God. He'll take care of it" ;D And Chase "If Ashley doesn't like the food, then I know it's good....when she gets to the point where she's dry heaving..that's quality food." LOL

I have to disagree. With the endless supply of reality tv shows on tv the A-list series is pretty tame. These people are no more vapid than the ones on the Jersey Shore or The Real World. Ya it's sad watching someone drink themselves into oblivion, but we've seen this type of person on most reality shows. It's nothing new and it's certainly not the worst of the worst like most have made it out to be. Truth is when we go out in the community we see a lot of vapid people who do act like that, but it is not a true representation of all of us.

Ummmm....I have yet to see Chase stab someone in the back. In fact we have yet to see him co-sign anybodys bullshit. He's put James, Taylor, and Ashley in their place when they have acted out. You must be talking about Levi and Taylor. So far it's been Levi and Taylor stabbing James and each other in the back.

Oh and Chase's hair and style is just one of the unique things about him. Chase is about his business and he could get a man if he really wanted one. Chase is nothing like Derek from NY because he has a charming personality and real individuality. None of which Derek has at all with all that damn fake bake and ice queen attitude.

I'm sorry but Phillip is loud and obnoxious. If you want people to like you don't have to try so damn hard. Sometimes it's better for someone to keep their mouth shut when it's none of their business and Phillip has a serious problem with not being able to shut up and gossiping too damn much. When he was at the therapist office he had toned that shit down a lot. But all the dramatics and the bug eyed facial expressions are not cute at all. In other words he has an on and off switch and that comes across as fake on screen. He is definately drama. Phillip is the one who talks about material things. Like his wet gucci wallet and his shoes whatever brand they were. oh and he only noticed his date because he was wearing burberry swim trunks when they met. Now he is the superficial one by a longshot. He is the gay Nyasha. I wanna see how he acts when his father visits him cause I bet he'll have the dramatics cranked down to level 1. You can tell he's insecure; that's the reason he acts the way he does and why he's never had a boyfriend. He's 23 and he states he hasn't been in a serious relationship in 5 to 6 years aka he's never been in one. That would have made him 17-18 years old and barely out of high school. At that age most gay youth are just starting out in the dating world and serious relationship is not really in their vocabulary yet. Of course there might be a lucky few that meet their first real boyfriend at that time for sure.

What I meant about Chase being about his business is he has his shit together. He doesn't care what anybody thinks of him because he is comfortable in his skin. He's a gay adult living his life for himself. Phillip is a gay adult who has held back from having a life for himself because he thinks too much of what other people might think mainly his Mother and possibly his father. I mean he just got around to bringing his dates around his friends. It just proves he has a lot of catching up to do in feeling comfortable with himself and his choices. The boy needs help and he seems to be trying to get it so lets just say he's a work in progress.

So Chase doesn't have a boyfriend neither does Phillip. Your putting too much emphasis on someone not having a boyfriend which I still don't know the reason why because that doesn't validate them as a person. And if he is into Levi so what. He's certainly not drooling and making a big fuss over him like Taylor and James are. Chase so far has shown he has self respect and isn't gonna throw himself all over a guy who hasn't shown any interest in him. If something happens with him and Levi it will be because Levi will be the one to make the first move. I mean in the previews it does show Levi slapping Chase's ass not the other way around.

Chase hasn't said anything about Phillip that everyone else hasn't said already in the confessional clips in between the scenes. That's not talkng behind someone's back that's just stating the obvious and setting up the next scene. Phillip is a foghorn and cringeworthy to be around sometimes. He himself acknowledges this as one of his many annoying attributes. That's what he's going for because he likes to see people squirm while trying stir shit up and that is a true troublemaker.

Another thing is Chase could have had thrown Phillip out of his party for going after Taylor and swinging on that fool, but he didn't he threw Taylor's ass out which he deserved cause that was some foul shit pushing Phillip and Levi into the pool. Oh and who does Chase go to call out in the next episode......Taylor. So not only does he have good judgement and can read folks but he also knows patience when dealing with Phillip or James for that matter. We're just gonna have to see what happens when he goes to Taylor's to get some sort of explination why he did something so stupid and embarrassing to Phillip but also to Levi the guy he supposedly has true feelings for.

We don't know what Chase's situation is as far as his relationship with his parents. Have you ever thought that maybe they're the ones who gave up turned their backs on him and he has learned to try and cope with it. The whole point like I said is he's his own person not letting the judgment of his parents or anyone for that matter dictate how he lives his life. He's a grown ass man who lives his life on his own terms. I'm sure if the situation was workable as far as a relationship is concerned with his parents I'm sure he would at least try work it out with them but obviously at this time that is not the case. He doesn't seem like the cut and dry type of guy but is someone who is more than willing to give people another chance under certain circumstances.

But hey you obviously see it differently than some of us do which is not a bad thing. We can only call it like we see it.

Of course everyone is going to have their own opinions about the show and the people in it, but I happen to enjoy this A-List way more than the New York one. I mean I loved NY but this one just makes me laugh every episode because these people are so crazy. Chase is hilarious, I'm sorry whatever you think of him he cracks me up. He always has something witty to say and his accent is adorable. And his hair is awesome, I find the only people who hate on boys who have awesome hair are the gay boys in their twenties who are already balding. Just cause you don't have hair of your own to style fabulously doesn't mean you have to hate on the boys who do, like Chase. Just sayin.
Also for the record, Phillip is annoying. Like, way more than annoying he's nauseating. I can't stand him. His overly dramatic ways and his ugly facial expressions and he thinks he's hot but he's not. I can not believe Levi picked him to model his underwear line. Yeah I couldn't wait for him to show it to his marketing manager so he could tell him how crappy the pictures look. And it wasn't Ashley's fault, she knew the pictures would turn out bad, but Levi wanted to control everything, including picking a horrible location, worst time of day to shoot, and an ugly ass model. Dumbass. But good news it looks like in the next episode he has auditions for a new model. I pray he finds someone more suitable.

In the next episode it looks like our favorite Chase gives Taylor a little taste of his own medicine at the poker game. Taylor likes playing games and manipulating Levi but it's gonna come back and bite him in the ass. I'm gonna like this war between Chase and Taylor because Chase will give him just enough rope to hang himself every single time. I have no doubt Chase is coming for that ass and I hope Levi does make a pass at Chase so Taylor can really show his true colors and Chase won't even have to lift a finger unless it's to beat that ass down. I mean Levi is under the impression that they're relationship is on the DL and Taylor is telling everyone who will listen that they are dating when he is the one who insisted they keep it a secret. Anyone who will throw all of their friends under the bus just to hold on to a guy is just pathetic

On a more serious note, No matter how much Chase dislikes Taylor he was still kind enough to extend some words of encouragement to him about Taylor's parents not accepting him. I find that so refreshing and real.

Oh and am I the only one that notices that Chase has got quite a hot little bubble butt! I've noticed it in previous episodes but when Phillip came over to his house and he answered the door in those short shorts everytime he turned to the side or his back was facing the camera it was like Bam, how you doing!

I don't think being more masculine would make him more attractive. It's the low self esteem and obsessive single white (Fe)male personality that does him in. Once he works on the self esteem issues and gets out of crazy stalker mode when it comes to men and dating then he would be alright. I mean he's on his first date with this guy who is moving to New York and he tells his date "Don't make me fall in love with you cause I will find you." Ummm that's cray cray!!! Well Well Well, look what we have here.........Chase took your man Taylor and he didn't lift a finger he just sat back and watched!!! I kinda laughed that whole episode with Chase texting Levi for lunch when he was with Taylor and Taylor telling Levi he basically doesn't like his friendship with Chase but with the exception of the whole Ashley fiasco because that was foul how Levi treated her. Phillip....ughhhhh. Thank god Chase popped that ego of his cause he was really thinking he was gonna be plastered all over Dallas. I'm interested though at Phillip's father's visit. I wanna see how he handles it cause so far he's been all over the map and maybe his father can bring him back to reality.

Chase really is working on fuckin Taylor's whole world up and I'm liking that he has a devious side. Although Levi had already made it known he was interested in him, Chase really sealed the deal at the gym by backin that ass up for Levi and then telling him to quit lusting for him was hilarious.

On another note, I'm might have to start using the word baby alot more cause it really works for Chase, but then again I don't have a texas accent so it might not have the same effect at all...haha. Till the next episode!!!
