It is a good show johaninsc. Its one of the few that actually has some freaky/scary parts to it. Try and catch it if you can

They seemed to have taken the wtf factor down a few notches and slowed down the pace. So it was more coherent than the pilot, for sure, but not as creepy.

But it was really good. The cupcakes were stressing me out w/ with suspense.

I can't get over how fun this show is.

lol Nip/Tuck stayed good for the first 3 seasons. After the Carver plotline ended things went downhill. To me Glee was never worth watching. So far American Horror Story is really good. But if it goes off the deep end like Nip/Tuck did in its later seasons I will have to turn away.

I dropped Glee half way into Season 1.

And I ALMOST made it to the end for Nip/Tuck even though it started to fall apart. I stopped at Season 6, half-way in. One day, I'll try to watch the series finale because I still have fond memories of when the show used to be good. I'd like to see how it ended.

^^There's been some horror and a good deal of graphic violence, along with a lot of allusions to the supernatural which will be examined as the show continues.

There was no nudity in episode 2, and the language was a little toned down from what was said in the pilot.

Seeing that over-the-top weird shit on weekly basis is too much. For you maybe, but some of us actually prefer to watch something different, something that can catch your attention, something we haven't seen a million times before. You don't like it? Fine.. we all live in a a free country. You're allowed to your opinion, but nobody is forcing you to watch if you didn't like it, then just don't watch more episodes.

I on the other hand LOVED it and am hooked.. but I always enjoy tv shows in the supernatural/horror/thriller kinda genre, so I knew it would be a perfect fit for me. I do realize it's not for everyone though. But I think those who like that genre will also end up enjoying it, like I did

We know that the gay owners basically killed each other because of the ghosts in the house. Quinto's role is going to be one of those owners.

In my head that means he is playing a really vivid ghost but the description in an article stated that he and the wife would become friends.

I don't get it. It could be a mistake for all I know just thought it was odd.

I finally watched the first episode...loved it! I'd even have loved it if they hadn't thrown in the gratuitous butt shots of Dylan McDermott ...glad they did though, and Rubber man, well, he kind of turns me on

This is the kind of suspense horror thriller I like...and a bit of sex and eye candy too!

The problem with Twin Peaks was that it never made sense. It was just weird for the sake of weird and basically caved in on itself with its nonsense. To me American Horror Story is automatically better. I remember trying to get into Twin Peaks and realized it was all aura and no real coherence. I'm hoping AHS doesn't follow suit.

Every time Ben Harmon cries, I laugh hysterically.

The whole bit when he & the Burnt Face Guy were burying the dead girl was so unintentionally hilarious. Actually, all of their interactions crack me the hell up. How does he always manage to find him when he's jogging? And why doesn't Ben just run away instead of losing his shit every single time. Too funny.

Anyway, I think the subplot of trying to sell the house is going to wear thin pretty soon. They're obviously not going to be successful otherwise the show would be over.

Oh and I'm already sick of the Sexy Maid Lady. I don't mind the Old Maid Lady tho.

I agree! This third episode was really good and is only making me love this show more and more.
Man, I'm glad that bratty girl is dead. But I think we're gonna see her again....I mean her dead version.

Fourth episode previews look good, too. We'll get to learn more about the basement and more about latex man. XD Not to mention we get to see Quinto.

Dylan McDermott is hot as hell. I was watching the show with my boyfriend and wanted to say something about how hot Dylan is but couldn't lol.

Now about the show, I have to say the first 2 episodes annoyed the hell out of me with all the nonsense BUT they did get me to want to keep watching just so I can understand what's going on. So I'll keep watching, I'm intrigued. I just hope the plot becomes more linear and less scenes all over the place that don't make much sense between them.
