Betty White as Elka on Hot In Cleveland, all of the actresses are good but without her the show would not work. The episode with her and Mary Tyler Moore in jail together is priceless. TV legends that are still as funny as they were forty years ago. They have the best classic TV guests ever on almost every week. It is so nice to see them, Carl Reiner, Don Rickles, Dick Van Patten, Melanie Griffith, John Schnieder who is still one hot as hell Duke boy, Huey Lewis, Susan Lucci, Tim Conway and that isn't even a good start to how many there have been. It is a shame that all of the other Golder Girls have passed on as they would have made for some amazing guest spots and you know they would have so done it for ratings and nostalgia it would have been unbeatable.

Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I know a lot of people who have watched that show hate her for being a whiny bitch but I think she's totally entitled to most of the breakdowns she has on that show.

She never chose to be what she is, her wish is to be a normal girl but that is something that will never happen for her. She even died and went to heaven but was brought back to her calling by her best friends. In the end she accepts her place in life and never backs down from it. IMO, a person in that position is entitled to bitch about it every now and then.

Not only have I heard of it. I tried to watch it every week. I think the show was a little too cerebral for the highly sophisticated

American audience. Compelling? An interesting word choice.

I seem to make it a habit of latching on to shows that get cancelled. Reason? Low ratings, probably.

I've heard of it and watched it On Demand every week. It's definitely not your typical 9:00 show but i liked it. I am surprised it didn't take off as it is heavily drawn on King David and his folklore from the Bible. The production was superb, the sets didn't look cheesy, and the acting was good. I definitely didn't see Jack coming out as gay but it's just one example of how unpredictable but not convoluted like Lost this show was.

Dr. Jennifer Melfi-The Sopranos: An extremely strong woman who unlike many people is willing to stand up to the main character/aggressor of the show (Tony Sopranos). Even after being sexually assaulted, she remains mostly levelheaded and falls apart only momentarily.

Nancy Botwin-Weeds: She's a rather realistic character who makes decisions as real people do, yet she stands by her family at all times without abandoning them. She's reckless and rather 'weaselly' and for that, I adore her completely.

There are plenty more. I'll probably be coming back to this thread a few more times, haha.
