Is it possible to block somebody?

I've spent the last 15 minutes trying to figure it out. Is it possible to block people so you never see their posts?

When you view a member's profile, in the second box down, the same one that lists the option to PM or email, it also gives you an option to Ignore.

You can "ignore" a poster but you can't block him. You won't read his post but you will know he had posted something. Go to the public proflie of the JUBber, say Lilbit. Click on Lilbit's name and you can see the link to his profile (not the deformed thing he calls a nose). You will be directed to a page and there will be a function to ignore the JUBber, in this case Lilbit.

You can practice with Lilbit. No harm done. Leave him on ignore.

I've never understood the need for putting someone on an ignore list. I guess I don't take this place seriously enough to be disturbed by anyone.

Sometimes there's a back story to why they post the way they do, or why their persona rubs you up the wrong way. I've felt the same way about some posters in the past, but when I've got to know them better, my view of them changed. In fact, I can't think of any member that particularly enrages me at the moment.
