I always thought he had a devoted following. I was a fan.
No one can expect to be liked by everyone, however. And who would want to be?

I just can't figure though who wouldn't like, or at least respect, Croynan. A good man whose posts were witty and thoughtful and whose threads were consistently compelling and enterttainingly presented...an educator by profession, he knew how to make learning new things fun!

Croynan's humiliation, in a thread directed at him, was very public and extremely hurtful, both to Croynan and to anyone who cared for him. Let's just say that the 'respected' poster of that thread was very smug about it and, I'm quite certain, extremely satisfied that he managed to force Croynan to walk away a broken man. He certainly didn't deserve what he got.
