I'm not sure how much of it is broadcast in the US, but the Rugby World Cup is on in New Zealand at the moment. Matches are drawing between 30,000 and 60,000 people. New Zealand play France at 8:00 pm local time on Saturday in front of a sellout 60,000 in Auckland.

Well maybe that's why I haven't really watched it. Honestly I really don't find many sports interesting. Even when I'm just watching for the hot ass I can only do that for so long.

BTW Other than the lack of padding are there any other differences between rugby and regular American football? (I said "American" because I know every other country calls soccer "football")

1) You're not allowed to throw the ball forward, otherwise it is deemed a knock on or forward pass, and then there is a scrum.
2) The game continues on when the ball goes to ground. That's when the players dive onto each other in attempts to get the ball.
3) The same team plays throughout, except there are 7 reserves that can be brought on sometime during the game, but they stay on. There is not an offensive and defensive team.

I hadn't read this thread before - I had compulsory rugby for five years at school, which put me off it for life - but there are a lot of very hot men. Oh, and at least they still wear proper shorts, not the long ones soccer players, or the ridiculous baggy things basketball players wear. Australian Football has even shorter, tighter shorts; I often wonder why more don't split.
