Generally at a meet the guys stay in an hotel or wherever and just get to know each other and if anything happens brilliant! But if not you have friends you didn't have before and a new social network. It's totally up to the guy what he wants to do and how far he will go and the other guys respect that. It shouldn't be awkward it should just be a fun couple if days. I don't think there'll be any marriages at the first meet! It's just a break and meeting new blokes and possibly a good shag!

Au contraire, he's actually trying to stop the rest of you having a bad experience.

If all you want to do is have a piss-up and a shag, then make it clear to everyone. If you want it to be a 'meet-up' like the previous one and the others done elsewhere in the world then equally make it clear to everyone.

The point is, the latter needs organising, the prior simply needs a meeting point and then you're all free to do what you want.
