The HBO shows were live and unedited. They were CONCERTS. The Confessions show on NBC has been edited to death and it didn't feel like a concert at all. It just felt like a long music video. What upsets me the most is you can't hear the crowd at all.

i couldn't have agreed with you more on that line. i watched it that night and i thought i was looking at another edited music video that is always being used in most mtv reality shows and so forth. i fucking hated it. i was so looking forward to her confessions tour on nbc and i was disappointed with the televised concert overall. but hey she rocked the stage big time! what annoyed me so much on the show was those flashing pink lights that covered any type of movement that she was doing on stage. i thought for a second that nbc used those lights for that part of the performance. it seemed like it never lasted that long.

Watched it. Big Madonna fan here. I pretty much agree with everyone else. TOO FLASHY and it didnt have the "Concert" feel it should have. Too much fancy editing involved. But thats what you get when you hire Jonas Akerlund (a music video director) to direct a concert special. Oh well. It was nicely done but OVER DONE. Hopefully the DVD wont be as crazy. She definetley set a new standard for TV Concerts though. She can still put on one hell of a fucking show.

What will happen when Madonna dies? How do you think she'll die?

How will she die? Will she get a state funeral? Will it be like Freddy Mercury, a tribute concert and everything?

I think she will die of old age, she's very very healthy and fit. hav u seen her arms? she won't b getting arthritis! and she's vegetarian which also helps to live longer. Hope she doesn't become like Cher, with all the plasticity.

i don't really talk too much about how a person will die, but as healthy as she is i think she is going to live for a long time up until her 100s possibly. but she'll be martyr is she dies in the future. think of her as the pop goddess of the world before britney, janet, christina, and all of her other successors. it would only influence more up and coming artists to embrace pop music for many generations. if it wasn't for madonna, pop music wouldn't be as successful as it was in the past and in the present. her music will be cherished throughout our generation, our children's generation, our great-grandchildren's generation and so forth.

I'm sure Madonna wont die from old age. That type of death is boring and Madonna isnt boring. Knowing her, she probably has some elaborate death all planned out.

She'll probably spend the remainder of her life in jolly ol' England so whenever she dies they'll probably do a huge tribute concert. Britney & Christina will end their by then 30 year fued by dueting on Like A Virgin once again and Britney will pass the torch to (insert name of up and coming pop startlet). She'll pass the torch by kissing her on the mouth-Madge style of course.

Is it possible for someone to get knighted by the Queen even if they're not born in England???????

I don't know when or how Madonna is going to die, but I suspect she will be around for a long, long time. Given what great shape she is in coupled with her wealth and clout to have access to the best medical care in the world, she could easily live into the triple digits, barring any freak accidents such as that which claimed Princess Diana's life.

Centuries from now, she will likely be regarded with mythical proportions along the lines of Helen of Troy and Cleopatra.
