^sorry mate...im east coast
It's ok.
So, just finished it.
My Highlights:
Ellen says 'Madonna' and the audience gays go insane. Madge comes out in a fabulous outfit. Questionnaire: "Gaga has good voice/Elton is a nice ass". Ellen gets a corset, they vogue. Gay in the audience losing it (he so wanted Madonna to hug him, she should have gave him a hug). Rocco, adorable looks just like Guy. Everyone in audience gets Madonna merchandise.

"Live your dream and never wake up." - Liam Payne
All this talk of Madonna vs Britney, Madonna vs Xtina.....is getting tired - Madonna is the FUCKING QUEEN! And this video proves it, LOL.
Gaga doesn't get a mention, because this was done way back in 2002BG (Before Gaga)
An official Madonna thread oh my God now I know I made the right decision joining this site ;_;
^ haha...yes! Welcome, Jersey!![]()
I finally watched it. I loved the interview portion--Madonna and Ellen mesh really well when it comes to talking back and forth. You can tell they're both really comfortable with each other. Of course, who wouldn't be comfy with Ellen?
Also: hearing her speak on how she feels when she looks back on here massive career and everything she's done, I saw somewhat of a humble side of Madonna.
the dancers part was a bore to me.
And agreed-Rocco is sooo cute!
sidenote: I found the pant-less waiter guy kinda hot. Then again--I just like to see guys with sock suspenders (somewhat of a fetish).![]()
^her dancers were kinda hot looking though. I also liked the "Know Madonna or Go Madonna" segment.
I can't wait to see her in Rio![]()
The ellen interview just proves Madonna has tremendous star power and charisma.
I made this gif from the show:
what a career!
I love how Ellen's people conveniently forgot to include the cover for Hard Candy in that montage.
Not that I blame them.
Totally listening to Hard Candy right now.
Here you go boys, some eye candy
I think some of these guys were in her superbowl halftime show. I love her dancers. Guys who dance well turn me the fuck on for some reason. The 4 guys she had with her during 'Music' on the bleachers had me so hard.
Best Superbowl halftime EVER!
I adore this woman....

When it comes to men, she knows how to pick winners.
I hated that song at first, but it has definitely grown on me (as did much of the album).
The dancing pink bikini chick sold me on that song.
^^^I hope that girl never had political aspirations... because that chance is dead.
Girl Gone Wild is a great track though. I love it. Madonna's video for it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better though.
There we go. This is better.
The video with the dancing girl was made for another song (it's some weird foreign instrumental called "Skeletons Having Sex on a Tin Roof") but some Madonna fan who thought the lyrics for GGW were extremely vapid and subpar for Madonna's standards put the song over that video prior to Madonna's video being released. I dunno, the imagery is so silly and syncs so well with parts of GGW -- by total serendipity, because it's unedited from the original video -- that it turned the song around for me.
My favorite part: "Forgive me. *crazy Exorcist hair flip*"
Impressive how soooo many celebrities have gone to see MDNA....
Kylie, Stella, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani and NO Doubt
, Leo diCaprio (again!), George Michael, Anderson Cooper, NPH & partner, Robyn (!!), SEAN PENN, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, JPG, Versace, D&G, Valentino, Glen Close, Adam Clayton of U2, ADAM LEVINE (LA Show YAY!), Heidi Klum
to people I didnt even expect : Sophia Bush, Emma Roberts, Mark Salling (Glee!), Jessica Alba, Dita VT, Rose McG, Paris Hilton, LLu, ALANIS MORISSETTE, JODIE FOSTER, JARED LETO, david Arquette
Sitting in the front row of a Madonna concert with Mark Salling... how amazing would that be?
I'm so pumped about going to the show in Atlanta next weekend! Can't believe it's almost here.
Speaking of which--one of my good friends may have an extra ticket or two (really GOOD seats)...if there are any of you here who would be interested in taking it (free of charge), let me know. Again--it's for the 11/17 show in Atlanta.
I've never seen her in concert... So jealous of you guys!
According to Madonna's official Facebook page, next week's Miami shows (November 19th & 20th) are being filmed for a DVD release!![]()
^ exciting news.

"Live your dream and never wake up." - Liam Payne
Well--my friend and I will have pit "seats" inside the golden triangle at tonight's concert, you guys. I'm so fucking excited to see Madonna up close!!!
I just know I'm going to start crying and make a fool of myself.
i hope the DVD is directed well to appreciate the mind blowing stage M has used
awww...thank you! Yes--I was there and had a fab time! This was my first time having such close 'seats' to The Queen, and damn she looked amazing! It was such a surreal experience.
I made this shirt--and Guy Oseary later stopped me to tell me how much he liked it. I adore "Love Spent"!

That cheerleading outfit isn't making you look any younger, Madge. It's time for you to stop putting out aggressively bland comeback albums and make room for Ke$ha and Katy and the other 800 female artists out there who change outfits every five minutes to distract people from their terrible singing.

Like I've said before -- critics have been declaring that Madonna is "over"/irrelevant/washed-up/past her sell-by date since 1992. It's gotten to be quite amusing as the years have progressed.
Meanwhile, she's still around twenty years later (and not only still around, but still challenging herself artistically, still selling out stadiums around the world, still racking up #1s)... how many of them can say the same?
How long before Lady Caca starts incorporating a walker into her "act"?
This is purely opinion though and musical taste varies from one person to another so this is irrelevant. I actually don't know why everyone starting PMS-ing over Hard Candy. I actually like many tracks from that album and I'm not even her biggest fan."She" hasn't made a "decent" album since Music
So some people will love her new work some will hate it so there's no 'quality' to talk of. People who talk like that remind me of food critics. It's like, seriously, WHO CARES? Some people like to eat fish and chips, some people prefer chicken, some prefer greens, not everyone has to like calamari and champagne. I don't get people's obsession with being like some fucking quality police and literally going into other people's homes and telling them what's good and what isn't and what they should or shouldn't be listening to. And at the same time being basically so anti mainstream and telling anyone who likes mainstream stuff that their taste in music is horrible and they "don't know" what real music is.
It's pointless. People have a choice when it comes to musical preference. Get the fuck over it. Clearly enough people like Madonna's recent work for her to still be a (very) profitable touring act. And her last 5 CDs have all gone straight to #1.
Tough Shit.
Peace.
You may have noticed that the first thing I mentioned was that she "still challenges herself artistically." Which, to me, is the most important thing. But, given that art is subjective and a matter of personal tastes, the more tangible example of her relevance are the numbers -- hence the reason I cited album sales and ticket sales.
She continues to set records in those areas, so obviously a rather large amount of people are still interested in her. Hence relevancy.
And if you don't think she's interested in artistry -- check out album cuts like "Gang Bang," or her elaborately designed & choreographed stage show.
I'm not someone who thinks Madonna shits gold, but -- for the life of me -- I can't figure out how anyone could dismiss all of that.
