One, she wants to see Obama win this election and two, you could sense the satire or sarcasm in her voice when she said those words. She doesn't truly believe it. She's poking fun at the people who would have a problem with Obama if he was a Muslim.

I believe she was saying it more or less for the approval of having a Muslim in the White House. Almost a -- what's the big fucking deal, even if we did have a Muslim in the White House -- type of tone.

People complain that Obama is a Muslim? It doesn't matter how many times you say "No, I'm not. Actually I go to church." Sometimes it's better to push back and say "So what if he was?"

She does sound like she's being sarcastic in the clip. It's too bad the clip was so short. It is possible that she believes he is Muslim, which I think is pardonable. I don't think a person's religion has any bearing on their post as president, it just doesn't matter. Besides that, so many people and news corporations have stated that Obama is Muslim that there are now plenty of people who believe it.

I was never crazy about "Everybody" actually. But the Blu-Ray debut this year of the "Truth or Dare" concert doc made me think about how they sampled a bit of "Everybody" in the opening of "Express Yourself". I thought that was very cool and thought it was a nice idea hearing an earlier track dropped in like that. 0:22-0:38 in this:
