She is my god, i Worship her......
She is an uber rich women who wastes our time by putting out bad records . Thinking she is still 20 . Your career is in the past woman so let it be . Do your books and be a good mom to your kids . Never bought a thing she put out . We don't want to see her in here 60's in tights dancing to a bunch of 60 yr old queens . I think just the gay people have and will make her bank account bigger .
I don't understand how someone can 'love', nevermind idolize someone they've never met and probably don't even know that much about.
Hm. She's contreversial and way past her prime.
If it wasn't for her, there wouldn't be alot of idiot pop star imitators. So, i despise the grand majority of her work - however, i won't go and say she's all bad either...
But i'm not a fan, she can disappear and it'll be one less for me.
"Burning Up" - not on the list. There used to be a Swedish drag queen site that had one of them lip synching that song. I also like "Hanky Panky".
"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something." --Jackie Mason
I much prefer Cindy Lauper and Nina Hagen. Madonna's voice makes my skin crawl - not all the time, but at times it just hits me the wrong way. I like her stage acts - just not much of the music. I also appreciate her as a person or personality, but she reminds me a lot of Michael Jackson FSR.

but michael jackson has more plastic in than cher . he has so many face lifts it not funny. i read an article in out magazine that madonna had no work done.
i am just saying my opinion.
I use to be known as ignorancehater1975. You can't be judging me unless u r god, and u r not god so u can't be judging me!!!
i forgot to mention i love her music. she is one of my favorites.

even though i like most of the songs i pick like a prayer.

I like all hers songs but Holiday, Crazy For You, Borderline, and Live To Tell are probably my fav "classics".
Burning Up is the best song she's ever done...period. That whole album is my fav of hers.
I also love Burning up, Borderline, Lucky Star, Angel, Material Girl, Gambler, True Blue, Like a Virgin (of course!), and White heat.
The songs that were picked for the poll should of all been 80s songs, since the thread is called Fav. madonna classic, classic to me is her old stuff that made her a star.

Inspired by Live Earth, Madonna has written a new song titled "Hey You," which is available exclusively on MSN, free of charge, for seven days. "Hey You" was produced by Pharrell Williams and Madonna and recorded in London. Madonna will perform "Hey You" as one of the headliners for Live Earth U.K., joining the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Genesis, the Beastie Boys and other performers at Wembley Stadium in London on July 7, as part of the 24-hour, seven-continent Live Earth concert series.

It's a sweet song with an important message, good for charity but god I hope the new album don't sound like that!
r u serious.. this song is wack!!!!...
huauhhuahauhhua
Wow! This is the first Madonna song I really like since .. uhm ... 15 years!
Wow.. Madonna's first proper slow song, since.. errr.. I am totally ok with it.
It's appropriate and touching, luv it. Thanks for the link!
I heard the whole song on youtube." Hey You" is a beautiful heartfelt message to those who need hope in there lives. It's very reminicante of her earlier work in the "True Blue" album. It's very "adult contemporary" and has an "Enya-ish" feel to it.
I love it and I'm looking forward to hearing more from our Lady, Madonna.
Blueboy369
Lady Madge so far has worked with Pharrell, Timbaland & JT???
Who's next........Three 6 Mafia & Lil' Jon???????????
God Bless Madonna!

What, has she gone hippie now? Okie-doke folk trash. The song sucks.
I love Madonna(last concert was fantastic!) but the song is pretty bad.
Personally, I really like this song. It has a great message and I just like the style.
Pharrell produced this?!
^Yes....umm sarcasm?
I like it.
This is my most listened to Madonna album, i have all of madonnas albums, From Madonna, right on up to Confessions on a dance floor, and i cant wait for her next album.
I like every song on The Immaculate Collection, except Vogue, never did ike that song!
Who else has it, and loves it?
I have it and unlike you, "Vogue" is one my favorites. But if I have to choose only one, it will be "Justify my love". That song really showed that interesting things were about to happen in her career.
Then, of course, came "Erotica"...
I have it, and I love it. Mainly because I think Madonna's more of a singles artist than an albums artist. But this is an awesome hits collection. It's such an excellent retrospective of her career in the 80's. Every song is good. And I love the remixes of "Express Yourself" and "Like A Prayer". They are better than the original versions, in my opinion.
I had it (on cassette)...
Listened to it so much that it broke.
OMG, so did I. LOL.
Actually, one of my favorite Madonna songs is "I Want You" - her cover of Marvin Gaye's song. And featuring by Massive Attack. Excellence.

But holiday is my favorite!

I think every homo has it![]()
I have it, and I love "Vogue"! It's a classic!
I have and love it like all of Madonna's albums. And I love "Vogue", it's one of her classic songs.
LatinoStar,I'm sure if you had seen her performance of Vogue on "the Reinvention Tour" you'd love that song.
I have it. I like the song "Rescue Me" on this CD. I agree with others that I wish "Dress You Up" and "Angel" were on this disc. "Live To Tell" is a great song. There's one Madonna song that I really love that I never hear anyone reference. It's on the Bedtime Stories CD and it's called, "Love Tried to Welcome Me". Anyone familiar with it and like it?
yeah, it's a great ballad. mariah would killed for that one.. but I think that BTS have 2 other great ballads - INSIDE OF ME, SANCTUARY ... those 2 are so fucking great --- and forbbiden love from bedtime stories!!
from IC my fav are:
LA ISLA BONITA
LIVE TO TELL
JUSTIFY MY LOVE
RESCUE ME
I have the immaculate collection but I rarely play it.... I listen to her new stuff more. I do love rescue me.
and it hurts with every heartbeat......
Its not that i hate it, its just not one one my favorite madonna songs, but i do love it enough to put it on my iPod, i have 54 madonna songs on my ipod!!
By the way i saw Madonna at Madison Square Gardens during the reinvention tour, and then again during the Confessions Tour!
Its the only Madonna album I have actually.
That is so fetch!
I have it. Think most gay guys have it...
As a Madonna purist, I HATE the Immaculate Collection. That album has a ton of flaws IMO. It leaves out a handful of hits...which I understand was necesarry because of time contraints, but still don't like it. What I simply can't forgive though is how the songs are butchered from the original versions. Most of TIC versions are slaughtered and slightly muffled sounding. What TIC did to "Into the Groove" (my favorite Madonna song) is particualarly painful for me to reconcile. And the fluffy dance remix of "Like a Prayer" that's featured plain SUCKS, they should have put the REAL rock/gospel version on there instead.
The only tracks that I prefer on this album to the original are "Borderline" (because it's the more familiar radio version) and "Material Girl," because of how the beat is a slightly harder in the chorus. Other than that, meh. TIC has too many flaws for me to be able to listen and enjoy. I'd rather just pop in the studio albums (CDs) and listen to them.
Yeah I know, but i like some of the remixes, I Love The Holiday Remix, !!!
