Hi dynk. 35F here. Just got back from town. This time of year I need to shop early while the snowbirds are still roosting to avoid long lines.

Had to use the electric shopping cart again. My right leg gives out.

Trips, Alan's friend (and mine) Bruce told me I was the grandpa he never had Christmas Eve. I had to think about that one and ended up figuring out it was a nice compliment. He is as nice as Alan is with me.

Those two are very active at 15 and 17 and keep me busy and young.

I had young friends and I agree they keep you active and young.

This old wabbit needs to be put out to pasture. I use distilled water to make coffee. The still is in the cold garage, so I get the water the night before then in the morning grind the beans and brew. This morning I started the Mr. Coffee, but didn't place the carafe in its place. Coffee ran all over the counter. Old ladies pour their hot tea into the saucer to cool and then slip it. Slipping coffee off the counter doesn't work.

Trips, I forgot to place the bottom of the grinder once, ad the ground beans went all over the counter

The Mr. Coffee has an interlock so it won't operate unless all parts are properly in place.

Many of us at work haven't noticed that a pot was brewing when we've reached for the pot - so I know what that's like.

I got the Definitive Technology ProCenter 2000 at $349. But your room is smaller and I suggest the Pro 1000 for $220. The same, just smaller

I say, get the Onyko. Maybe the TX NR414 at $280. I have A TX NR740, but you don't need to spend $600.

woops, correction, my Onyko is a 708. Maybe be you need to up it to a 709 at $464 as it has auto speaker setup which the 414 lacks.

We used to feel that way on the Fourth of July - we lived adjacent to the town park where the Chicken BBQ was held - and the '50s Rock band played - with their MAJOR sound system aimed directly at us - even at 1/4 mile away it was "significant" shall we say, lol.
