It was sad. A female quail hopped in to dinner with a broken leg.

She must have been in great pain, but didn't show it and eat a big meal. Her male was with her. She won't survive long. Wish I could take her in and make her comfortable.

Good news, four bunnies came to dinner. That's the most in months.

The visit went well and got my flu shot. I lost another 3 pounds for a total of 25 pounds this year. I even went down cellar and got my old jeans I had put away two years ago because they were too small. Now they fit perfectly.

Alan is maturing really nicely. He is right where he should be for a 17 year old. He acts mature with me and like a 16 yo with his friends. (he will be 17 next month). I have watched him grow for the last 10 years. Even the neighbours say he turned out real well.
