What I'm wondering is, why don't they just build a little curtain around the scale, at least from the waist down, so that every guy could be nude without necessarily exposing himself... and have the readout of the scale be above that, so everyone could see the numbers without having to see the guy's entire body? The athletes strip down (and sometimes bare all) if they do not make weight. Some fighters go to the point to shaving all their body hair, just to make sure that they cut weight.
