From industry folks, I've never heard of Colton being straight. Ever. Always 'he's gay'. And that it's not some sort of secret. He's supposedly an incredibly nice guy too. And supposedly was in a way 'out', even years ago when he had an open myspace. It's once he started getting more roles and building his career that I guess he had to closet himself again, but I hear that in terms of "industry circles", it's not like he's marrying a woman or parading around girlfriends...so just not 'out' to the public.

This. My best friend and his brother are both gay and they often joke about how their youngest brother is (four in total) is well on his way to being the same! In addition, in my own family, I'm gay as well as my aunt was and even my mom so it's strangely fascinating how strong the genetic component (in combination with the nurture component of course) can be!

But yes, I agree with looseliam...Colton is one of the most beautiful men in the world today!

I don't think that's completely true. The homophobic bit, sure, but Colton has worked continuously over the past couple of years...and now he's on a TV show. One that is doing quite well. For his chosen profession, he's doing very well. He has reasonably steady work.

If anything keeps him from getting roles, it's pretty much his height, and the fact he doesn't have much depth as an actor. He's OK, but not great. Some of the biggest names his around his age aren't straight either, and they have better careers--why? The talent is there, and they found a way to get into certain rooms Colton hasn't gotten into...YET.
