Is it just me, or do these actions taken by their lawyers actually make them that much more suspect? It screams, "cover up...because I really do have something to hide."
I get it...with so much transparency these days, it's harder and harder to stay in the closet. Images leak...and even more so, people talk. Word spreads around town, the internet, etc...even for us normal folks. It's the way it is for all of us.

But seriously, you don't think that if you engage in such things in your private lives...as public figures...that it doesn't have the capacity to become public someday? Even I get that!

Celebrities don't have the same "expectations of privacy" that non-celebrities do. That said, this was a NATIONALLY PUBLISHED MAGAZINE. This is beyond ridiculous. It's not like a paparazzo went in to his "private" hot tub and took the pics.

As the images are public, I really can't see what the fuss is about. In taking this action, his lawyer is simply drawing attention to the images and creating interest.

It may well be that the intention IS to create interest as part of the launch of Teen Wolf on MTV...

In any case, I would have thought that XY own the copyright to the images, and if it IS a source of discomfort for Colton, the easiest thing for his management to say would be, "This was something Colton did as part of a paid professional modelling assignment. He was paid to do it, it's not part of his personal life. Next question."
