Contract dispute. Apparently his episode count for the next Teen Wolf season was cut almost in half and the talks went through the summer without any changes. The writers had to start on the scripts and because of nothing final with Wolf, he started talks with Arrow. It's believed Teen Wolf is leaving the door open for Jackson but with his moving on, who knows. The show won't be the same with out Jackson. (my opinion)
