The only thing I've heard straight from the horses' mouth is Colton speaking in support of marriage equality and his brother & brother-in-law in an interview. So I'll reserve my outrage for people like Emmett Burns rather than hot model/actors that angry queens have developed obsessive fascinations and vendettas for.

It should be illegal for a man to look that hot. Colton is the stereotypical, dare I say it, 'straight guy', that every gay guy fancies the heck out of. As soon as I saw him on Teen Wolf, I fancied him. Sure, the character in Teen Wolf is an ass, but Colton is actually really nice, judging by interviews.
Speaking of ass, he has a really nice one. Anyone else agree?

He had just been turned into a werewolf and there are still the lingering questions about the circumstances of his adoption. And there is also him resuming a relationship with Lydia.

I'd say he has more of a plot lined up than Scott, Allison, Stiles or Derek.

Exactly! He also needs to remember that as they filmed an alternate ending for the season 2 finale that had his character die, it's not beyond the realms for them to re-edit the finale for the DVD release AND show the new finale as the 'catch-up' for the beginning of season 3. The guy needs to be giving his management some serious shit right now - unless it is HIM that's being the diva!

But if he's being paid a retainer... or his fee is for the series and not per episode, he can't complain. In addition, it's quite possible that although he's only slated to be in 12 episodes, they could be filming out of sequence and therefore he's required for the full filming schedule.

Either way, flouncing around like some spoilt child isn't endearing him to Jeff Davis or MTV's bosses....

While I can see the showrunner only wanting to use him in about half the episodes, and that being a point of contention between them, the idea that Jeff Davis is throwing a hissyfit/bearing a grudge over him shooting a music video seems pretty absurd to me.

His initial contract was only for two seasons. Until recently, they were in negotiation about his return for more seasons. Jeff Davis was aware of this possibility, but it was only when things finally fell through that he knew for sure.
