Slayer-Adele? Is that a new Bastard-Pop mix?
she probably will go diamond. Wow that'd be the first diamond album in a long time in the US.
Back on the Billboard 200, Adele's "21" returns to No. 1 for a 24th week, selling 75,000 (up 30%). The set is basking in the glow of the singer's NBC TV special, "Adele Live in London," which aired on June 3. "21" holds the most frames at No. 1 since Prince & the Revolution's "Purple Rain" soundtrack also spent 24 weeks atop the list in 1984 and 1985. Only eight albums -- including "21" -- have ruled for at least 24 weeks.*
"21" has never left the top 10 in its entire 68-week chart run, dropping only as low as No. 7 on the Dec. 10, 2011, chart. It debuted at No. 1 on the March 12, 2011, tally.*

YES!
And right away to be honest! I need some new Adels tunes to wear out after 21.
Adele Pregnant With First Child
Adele is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki, the 24-year-old singer announced Friday (June 28).
"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," she wrote on her blog. "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx." Adele's website went down -- likely due to capacity problems -- shortly after she posted the big news.
Adele discussed her relationship with 37-year-old charity CEO Konecki on her own blog in January and in a Vogue interview after he accompanied her to the 2012 Grammy Awards. "He's proud of me, but he don't care about what I do or what other people think," she boasted to Vogue.
Adele's "21" earned 24 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 9.4 million copies to date according to Nielsen SoundScan.

ADELE - Skyfall
For 24 hours beginning at 6 a.m. local time on Friday, Oct. 5, "Skyfall" will be played hourly on all of Clear Channel's mainstream top 40, adult top 40 and adult contemporary stations. It's the latest single supported by hourly radio plays, following similar launches for Rihanna's "Diamonds," Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," and earlier singles from Jason Aldean, Madonna, and Kenny Chesney & Tim McGraw.
"Skyfall" has been available for pre-order in the U.S. iTunes store since Monday, and it's Adele's first new studio recording in more than 18 months since "21" hit shelves in January 2011. The SoundScan tracking week ends at the close of business on Sunday, Oct. 7, so "Skyfall" will have a little over three days worth of sales in its first charting week. How much "Skyfall" will sell is anyone's guess at this point.
As of 0:07 London time, Adele's James Bond theme song, "Skyfall," is streaming on her website and available on iTunes, a few weeks before the series' latest film, starring Daniel Craig, hits theaters.
Adele's voice is accompanied by a 77-piece orchestra on the Paul Epworth-produced song, which is on track to become another James Bond classic, like those recorded for previous films by Paul McCartney, Nancy Sinatra and Madonna. "This is the end. Hold your breath and count to 10," Adele sings as the song begins. "Feel the earth move and then hear my heart burst again."
The song's Oct. 5 release (or Oct. 4 at 7:07 p.m. ET in the U.S.) coincides with the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise's debut. The latest installment of the series premieres in the U.K. on Oct. 26 and in the U.S. on Nov. 9.
"I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for 'Skyfall,'" Adele said in a statement announcing the song's debut. "There's a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script and Paul had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no brainer to do it in the end.

Instant BOND classic.
I found this on iTunes the other day and in fell in love with it instantly. This song is amazing, she did a really beautiful job. Hands down the best Bond theme song, just my opinion. Very nice Adele...first time I'm actually looking forward to see a movie PLUS it's opening theme song.
Goooooo Adele
"21" becomes the 21st album (i know right) in the US to sell 10 million copies in the Nielsen SoundScan era, which has been tracking album sales since 1991.
"21" is also one of only eight albums to hit the 10 million mark within two years of release (104 weeks). It took a total of 92 weeks.
So well done Adele! I can't wait for future music releases from you.
And to the Adele haters I say,

Wow...21 goes diamond. Shine bright like a diamond. Shine bright like a diamond. You're beautiful like a diamond in the sky.

Adele to Perform 'Skyfall' at the Oscars
Adele will perform her Oscar-nominated theme song from Skyfall at the 85th Academy Awards ceremony, the show's producers said Wednesday. They said that the performance will be the first time she will have performed "Skyfall" anywhere live and her first U.S. TV performance since the Grammys last year.
After a break from the spotlight due to her pregnancy, Adele recently appeared at the Golden Globes and accepted an award for the song there.
Producers previously also announced a tribute to the 50-year-old Bond franchise during the Oscar show and telecast.
The song, "Skyfall," from the James Bond film, is nominated in the best original song category at the Oscars. Written by Adele and Paul Epworth, it is the first Bond theme ever to debut in Billboard's top 10 chart and the first to be nominated for an Oscar since "For Your Eyes Only" in 1981.
"It's an honor to be nominated and terrifyingly wonderful to be singing in front of people who have captured my imagination over and over again," said Adele. "It's something I've never experienced and probably only ever will once!"
"We have enormous respect for Adele's unique artistry as a songwriter and a singer," said Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, the producers of this year's Oscar show. "She is currently one of the most successful recording artists in the world, and we believe that her performance of "Skyfall" will be an exciting Oscar moment for audiences watching at the Dolby Theatre and on television screens around the world."
The Oscars will be handed out on Feb. 24, at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center. Seth MacFarlane will host the awards show on ABC.
