Exactly. That is why I have had to remind people what the original intent of the thread is about. I knew there would be people who just WOULD NOT GET IT. They would post some ridiculous rumor that was totally without merritt about some straight actor. And lastly to "Frosty" Correcting people who can't get that through their thick skulls is not "lashing out" as you put it. It is merely correcting them so that others don't misunderstand what this thread is really about. IT IS NOT ABOUT RUMORS! At least aagold76 understands that.
Right, back to topic - Jonathan Knight and Tom Lenk. Hooray!
Oh yeah! I forgot about Jordan Knight.
Tommy Kirk surprised me. He came out in the late 70s in an interview in The Advocate. Another one that surprised me was George Maharis who sort of was forced out by his arrest in a gas station mens room that the cops had staked out in West Hollywood, back also in the late 70s.
Okay not 100% gay but bisexual, who knew Granndpa Walton loved cock, well as he never hid it,everybody including the CIA.
Yes, and here's the proof if you don't believe me: http://www.out.com/detail.asp?id=26518
Really.. have you not heard about wiki? it lists him as OPENLY GAY. They would NEVER do that unless it was official.
I like Ryan Gosling, Chris Pine, Chace Crawford, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, Kris Allen, Armie Hammer, Teddy Sears, Jon Kortajarena
'...They would NEVER do that unless it was official...' AH...yes they would- anyone can edit Wiki pages unless they're locked....that guy from The Immortals who plays Zues- Luke Evans, used to be listed as openly gay, (because he came out years ago...) he has since back tracked- started dating women, etc- because he got a few leads in movies.....
Of course, but it will always be changed back in a short amount of time if it's not correct.. that's what I meant. Correct information stays up.. information that is bogus gets taken down, and usually fast too.
And btw.. that whole Luke Evans fiasco.. don't even get me started. His PR people have probably convinced wiki to lock the page, so his new fans won't get to know about his gay past. But really.. this is rare.
But in Guillermo's case he actually came out, in print, and I'm pretty sure he has spoken about being gay later on too, so it would be kinda hard to refute that I think, though who knows.. Luke Evans' PR people sure seem to be doing a good job, lol.
I like Ryan Gosling, Chris Pine, Chace Crawford, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, Kris Allen, Armie Hammer, Teddy Sears, Jon Kortajarena
rare...Matt Bomer comes to mind also.... Absolutley no respect for either of these men....but, we're getting off topic.
BARNEY STINSON aka NPH.

I hate to have to repeat myself, but obviously I do. This is ONLY about actors who have actually come out and positively confirmed that they are gay. The Matt Bomers and Zach Quintos DO NOT COUNT!! It makes no difference what your personal opinion is, if they have either said "no comment" or have flatly denied it, then as far as this thread is concerned THEY'RE PUSSYHOUNDS!!! CONFIRMED FACT ONLY PLEASE! Let's please NOT get off topic.
At one point Wikipedia listed Matt Bomer as "Openly gay" and then they took him off that list after his PR people said "no comment" on the gay question. Bernard Lee, the actor best known as "James Bond's boss" in the '60s and 70's was also briefly on that list and then removed. Suffice it to say Wikipedia is not always very reliable. For that matter neither is IMDB. IMDB briefly said that Matt Bomer was "in a committed relationship with Simon Halls and is raising 3 children with him." They said that after Matt FINALLY acknowledged having 3 kids and then named them. Another web site published the birth announcements of the children which revealed that they were indeed born to Simon Halls. Still, the actor's official response is "no comment". Personally, I don't mind actors who say "no comment" half as much as I mind out and out LIARS! The ones who actively lie piss me off big time. BTW, who is Luke Evans?
Luke Evans is a British actor, now hitting it big in USA. He came out in a gay magazine in the UK several years ago, saying he's gay, he loves porn and big cocks. Yes, he actually said that. Now his PR team are trying to remove his past, by deleting him IMdB entry, wiki entry etc. They are basically trying to wipe out his whole past. They have also now set him up with a woman, which he prances around once in a fool moon, claiming they're engaged and in love. Both he and his PR team refuse to talk about his gayness, or anything else about his past for that matter.
This is a totally different case than Matt Bomer, because as far as I know, Matt Bomer has never actually officially come out, and I'm not sure if Simon Hall is out either. But this guy? To come out, stating in a magazine that you're gay, only to go back into the closet when you hit it big?!?! how low can you get? he's a hypocrite and a sell out. I can not stand him, and I'm boycotting all of his movies.
I like Ryan Gosling, Chris Pine, Chace Crawford, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, Kris Allen, Armie Hammer, Teddy Sears, Jon Kortajarena
I think Hollywood has a lot of fucking sell outs. Matt hasn't done that yet, but I wouldn't put it past him or any other actor for that matter. The industry pretty much FORCES gay actors to lie. Broadway is a different animal. Nick Adams, Cheyanne Jackson, Jonathan Groff are all out and proud and it's a non issue. Maybe Matt could transition either to Broadway or a gay friendly network like HBO and come out. If that happens, then I'll put him on this list. Since, he's a "no comment", I can't include him. Of all the names I've mentioned the BIGGEST surprise for me was Steve Antin. He didn't come out till he was 40 and done with acting. While he was young and cute in the '80s, the public, myself included, had NO CLUE!
Will Young.
Looking back at Pop Idol now it seems pretty obvious that he was gay but at the time i just thought he was a posh english guy.

Dax Rambo- since his death, has been outed- never came out- but many freinds/co stars said he was...died of AIDS....
Thomas Jane just admitted to turning gay tricks when he was younger on Santa Monica Boulevard - he also said you don't know if the food is good untill you try it - lol - what a metaphor!!!!!
Actually, he DID come out just before his death. I remember seeing him on Geraldo, or some talk show talking about being gay and his experiences with homophobia on the set of Dallas. He said Larry Hagman and some others really gave him the cold shoulder because they knew about his sexuality. I'll never forget this. He said "Hollywood is a very homosexual industry, but it's also a very homophobic industry." He was talking about the fact that even gay casting directors won't cast gay actors in parts and there are even gay agents who won't represent gay actors.
True Blood's Denis O Hare. Had know idea I've only seen him in True Blood, The Good Wife and Brothers and Sisters all diverse parts so when I heard he had married a man I was surprised.
"Flipping Dykes I though they were a myth like Weapons of Mass Destruction" Grace Adler.
Well, now I can say it. Zach Quinto. Someone, I think it might have been Aagold76, said "it's really hard to think od somebody who was a genuine surprise, because by the time they come out, there has already been so much talk about their being gay that it's not really a shock". Well, I agree with that and Zach Quinto is the perfect example of this. Nevertheless, I am naming him because I really didn't think he would actually come out. I thought he would continue to be like Jodie Foster, Anderson Cooper, Shephard Smith, Matt Bomer, etc. and just allow his sexuality to be an open secret. I'm glad he came out.
I'd have to say Raymond Burr and David Ogden Stiers
Matt Bomer was a surprise to me. I had no clue until I saw those photos of him making out with an ex on the internet. (Lookalike Sean Maher, however, pinged LOUDLY from the first moment I saw him and in fact never managed to convince me that any of the characters he played were heterosexual - including Brian Piccolo!)
Johnny Mathis was another that zoomed right over my head, though I don't recall ever giving his sexuality any thought before hearing that he's gay.
Paul Lynde.
No, but I just google searched and found out David Yost is gay, he was the Blue Ranger in The Power Rangers, not much of a celeb but I was surprised.
"Live your dream and never wake up." - Liam Payne
T.R. Knight.....from Grey's Anatomy....totally caught me off guarded
It wasn't until that incident with one of his cast mates....Isaiah Washington
I feel sorry for him when he gets bullied by Washington.
This is more recent Victor Garber! From the movies I watched and the TV Series Alias, he does not struck me at all. But then I do have really bad Gaydar.![]()
^
Is Victor Garber out? I got the vibe after watching him in something which I forget what although all through Alias I never once though this guy is Gay. Sean Maher surprised me.

This is rather recent. Just one or two days ago. Always the male modelsI wish I was a male model even if it is a very short lived career if that is the easiest way to be in a relationship.
I knew Victor Garber was gay. I've known for a long time. I thought he was already out!![]()
I like Ryan Gosling, Chris Pine, Chace Crawford, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, Kris Allen, Armie Hammer, Teddy Sears, Jon Kortajarena
I didn't know David Yost was gay. He's best known as playing Billy the original Blue Power Ranger. I remember being SO attracted to him when I watched the show as a kid. He was always my favorite. He's still pretty hot to me. Just saw an interview of him from 2010 where he talked abut why he left the show, basically cuz he was being harassed about being gay. It was quite sad to hear. You can watch it here: http://justjared.buzznet.com/2010/08...ay-david-yost/
Shaun T who was just got married.
