It's your body, don't let us decide for you lol. I don't think a key on the finger would mean anything though.

I like Rihanna but she's not on my top list. I don't like her duet with Eminem, he could have used some other random sample for a chorus to replace her and people wouldn't have noticed.

What are you talking about? The music video was released couple days ago, and multiple teasers have been released prior.

I just saw the vid for "Who's That Chick" produced by David Guetta. That one, too, is a grower. O_O I love it, but not as much as What's My Name. Only Girl is weak, sorry. It's one of those songs that you either love or hate... count me in as a hater.

The vid for Who's That Chick was pretty good. Real fun, nice story.

So far, I am not liking any of this music for the LOUD album. It's not necessarily that it's bad...but they aren't songs I'd want to listen to again. *shrugs*

Oh well, you can't please everyone.

Not feeling this new era of hers at all. From the hair, to the clothes, to the music...it's just all a huge step backwards to me. Rated R was good not great, but Loud leaves me feeling nothing. I only like What's My Name, and liking one song off of an entire album is not good enough. I can totally appreciate her using her accent more on songs though.

    Better luck next time.

    Rihanna - Loud

Any Rihanna fans out there? I used to be, i really enjoyed Rated R because it wasn't your traditional bubblegum pop you get out of every other artist. I have a feeling Loud is going to really suck. Any thoughts?

Rihanna amazes me because even though I've never been much of a fan of her and I rarely listen to radio, her songs always find a way to get stuck in my head. Even when I don't know it's her. She's so consistently catchy, and quick with the album releases. I know nothing about this new project, but how could it not score a #1 hit or two? She's just so good at it.

From what I've heard of the leaked songs on the album, I think it'll be better than her last one. I like Rihanna when she sticks to "bubblegum pop" tbh.

The weird thing is that I really love her song for the Doritos ad the most. It's better than the stuff off the album. lol

I actually think Loud will be probably the album I will like most. I loved the vid thatgirl posted and I am totally loving that song Only Girl In The World. So good! Now all I need to do is find a guy to make me feel like I'm the only boy in the world.

    Re: Rihanna - Loud

I love the Loud album. I don't like it as much as I did Rated R, Loud's not nearly as bold and introspective as that album was. But it wasn't made to be. It's pleasantly predictable pop music from start to finish. Nothing more, nothing less.

All she's aiming for on this album is to get one of these verses stuck inside of your head like KrazyGlue.

And sticks it does. Listen to "Man Down" once and try to tell me that you didn't find yourself going "rum pum pum pum rum pum pum pum" at any given moment during your day.

^ Man Down is actually the only song I like on the album. So, it's automatically the best, imo. Love it! I've been listening to it all day...

I always tend to like the songs in which she pretends to be bad ass.

She lost her mind on the bridge...that accent came out full force.

I hope the judge gives her minimal.

    Re: Rihanna - Loud

I think LOUD is her best album. She took the elements that made her previous albums successful, sound-wise, and packed them all into one effort. In my opinion, it's her only fully solid album, where the quality doesn't diminish at all from start to finish. The production is flawless on each track.

I felt like Rude Boy was very much out of place on Rated R, even though it was my favorite song on the album. It would have been much happier sitting on LOUD.

Also, it seems like her vocals improve with each album. I used to think that she couldn't really sing, but with each album she sounds better.

Whhhaaattt?! Babes, no. Man Down is just one of the many songs I like from the album.

I'm still playing Cheers (Drink to That) as if it's going out of style. If this doesn't need to be the next single, I can't think of anything else that does. The hook is catchier than syphilis. And I love how she captured the spirit throughout the song of what it feels like to be young and free at the bar on a Saturday night.

    Cheers to the freakin' weekend
    'bout to raise it up
    Yeah-eh-yeah
    ....
Don't let the bastards get you down
Turn it around with another round
There's a party at the bar
    Everybody put your glasses up
    and I'll drink to that!

And I just want to do very nasty, sensual things while the song "Skin" is playing.

But really, I love the whole thing; there was something satisfying for me to find in all of it's eleven songs. Too bad, YouTube are acting like total pricks right now with the copyright rules or I would totally post the clip for California King Bed. That's another one I don't mind having stuck inside of my head.

The red hair has actually grown on me after my initial hatred for it.

I've been a huge fan of Rihanna since the days when her songs sucked and she was irrelevant. I felt connected to her immediately because like her, my dad is from Barbados and I spent a good portion of my childhood there. Basically, I'm incredibly biased and will say very little negative about her, no matter how wrong I might be (and am often completely unwilling to admit ).

Agreed 100%. I LOVE Rihanna, but I'd be lying if I said she was a great performer. I know exactly what you mean when you say she's missing something on stage, and I think that something is charisma. I almost want to say she's a bit shy on stage. She is, at least to me, a likable person, but not one that you're instantly drawn to just based on her personality. She's definitely getting a lot better with her stage presence though. Super proud of her.

Her stage setup doesn't always help either. She was the only thing on stage for a lot of that performance.

I'm thinking about performers that get a lot of publicity, such as GaGa, and it's rare that she's ever on stage by her lonesome..unless she's on the piano.

I agree with this as well. Considering the kind of music she does (excluded some from Rated R and some other songs here and there), her performances are best when accompanied by some physical energy surrounding her, be it dancers, cool set pieces, etc. The opening with Love the Way You Lie Part II worked well with her being solo, but the fact that most of What's My Name? was just her on stage seemed odd to me.
