Have you guys seen these pics making the Tumblr rounds lately? Not quite sure what to make of them, lol, or what the event/situation was, but he was out with his bud Avan Jogia (own JUB thread) and Victoria Justice of "Victorious" in some kind of skirt-wearing thing. (That, I'm assuming, was for comedic effect; ah, the old vaudeville/Disney tradition continues...)

If the lipstick-as-paint and eyeliner wasn't enough, a little more interesting is that apparently he (or someone) wrote "COCK" on his forehead in lipstick. You can see it in the third picture. Some Tumblrs say that when Joshieboy posted the pics of that night, he tried "in vain" to use Photoshop to remove the "COCK", and you only see remnants of it in the last pic. It's entirely possible some puritanical teenie girl fan liked the picture but not that aspect so did the Photoshop attempts herself.

Anyone know the story behind this night? Did they have a smoldering 3-way? Did Josh boot the girl out and just get busy with Avan instead? Is the "COCK" his #1 wishlist item? Interesting scenario here if nothing else, lol...

Boy Toy, that's some good insight there. It makes sense. I feel so ashamed (and it's entirely possible my JUB suitability card will be revoked after this admission ) that I've never actually seen "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", although I know of it in pop culture/references and know of the traditions around it for sing-alongs, costume dressup or throwing things at the screen, etc. It seems like something that might be more fun in a group at the theater than watching at home on DVD or something, lol.

Lovin' the love for Josh here! idancegagaly, I couldn't agree more. He's had a great career trajectory and this is the role that might put him solidly into mainstream audience notice - "Oh, I know that dude" kind of recognition in whatever else he does in the future. I thought those "Journey to the Center of the Earth" movies were a notch up into mainstream films but "Hunger Games" should hit it out of the park.

Personally I'm sort of looking forward to him in "Carmel" (aka "Carmel-By-The-Sea"), trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Im8dLeSjHSM , because the concept looks interesting.

I agree with you that it was first not only nice to see him do a "Straight But Not Narrow" spot (along with his bud Avan Jogia's one) but the latest GLAAD awards was a nice touch. Although part of me has been nagged by and wondered if he's doing it because it's trendy or calculated because it will snag him a certain demographic; he made a video a couple years ago - this one - with an exaggerated, stereotypically "gay" flamboyant thing (at the end) that kind of struck me the wrong way as seeming a bit mean-spirited and homophobic rather than fun, joking/teasing or trying to make a point, and I'm usually the last person to get all sensitive about that kind of thing (I mean, "The Birdcage"? Hilarious. Kurt from "Glee"? Awesome character). And why's it acceptable to make fun of that group of people when if he did it with an ethnic group, religious fanatics or overweight people or something there'd be a lot of shit about it?

But hey, in his defense; sometimes people do/say idiotic things especially when they're a teenager, he is from Kentucky (a stereotype I know, but maybe can't be the most enlightened environment for these types of attitudes) and maybe he's had enough Hollywood experience now to change his outlook by having met cool executives/cast/crew in the industry who are gay and the knowledge that maybe he shouldn't piss off the gays if he wants to keep working there.

All this aside, man he's hot, and I always love seeing him in new photos or interviews.
