I'd call a guy in the 30's fucking sexy. heheh
I actually prefer late 20's early 30's men.
    They are pretty handsome.

I think it's more of a look than an age thing. The guy in the attached picture is in his low 40s but has looked like a daddy since probably around 35. He's always had a salty beard and salt n pepper hair, beefy and bearish.

There's guys in their 50s and older than wear club clothes, have fo-hawks, highlights and all of that trying to look as young as possible and no idea what to call them. But I wouldn't call them a daddy. I'm generally attracted to daddy types and not attracted to them at all despite their age.

You guys are right. I guess there really isn't a term for all men. We all do different things and age different, so it stands to say that my question is a little pointless.

I'd just call them...a guy. But I agree that it's more of a look thing, I'm sure there are guys in their 30s that look like a hot beefy daddy.

But IMO, being 30 for men is still fairly young.

No way it's a good topic! The weird thing is in the gay world in porn you see the term "daddy" applied to dudes in late 20s early 30s sometimes so it gets confusing. As a guy that's really into daddies it's frustrating when someone points to a guy that's 32 and says "oh daddy". I'm 37 and creeping up on my own desired demographic but it's annoying to me when porn is labeled "daddy" and the older guy is 30. But to each his own. Technically there's tons of 30 year old and younger daddies around..but to me the daddy thing is more of a look, an attitude and an age. I have a great partner now for several years, but having dated several "daddy" types over the years, I've met guys in their 50s that come off like insecure 15 year olds. To me that's a total turn off, a "daddy" is a look and a guy that's comfortable in his own shoes. But the whole topic is very open to interpretation.

Usually it hits at around 40 for me.

Sometimes I go with their general 'look' though.

I tend to go after guys who are at least 35+. Mainly because I like matured looks.. But there definitely are those rare instances it seems to me where a younger then 35 year old guy, looks older.. So pretty much, it depends all on looks, but if you were to say age range, I would say at least 35-40+.

their look matters, I agree with Storybook-man, in their late thirties rock!

just my opinion, I would call a "bear" a guy who is in their late thirties too. before that, they might be just some lovely hairy guys. I insist, this is my opinion.

I have always been mature for my age. When I was in high school, I would wear suits to school. The others looked at me a little strange. At the time, I would just tell them that I had meetings to attend and I did. I think I suffered socially, but I always kept moving schools so I never able the same group of friends close by. As a result, I was never able to get close to someone until college.

Furthermore, I was always away from home so I learned to rely on myself. This is yet another reason which I attribute to my early maturity. I would not say that I am jaded, but sometimes, I feel that I have more in common with guys who are in the early to mid thirties. I know it's not wrong, but it does make it difficult to be get in a relationship. While I did grow up and was influenced in the 90s and early 00s, the guys who I usually like make reference to unknown and seemingly archaic things to me. I'm using archaic very lightly, so kindly excuse me. I think this will benefit my relationships in the future, what do you guys think? Think a guy in his mid 20s can be a daddy?

What's wrong with that? Means you learn more. Youngest guy I've dated/been with is 44 and I'm 21. Things I'm not aware of frequently are brought up, worst that happens is a little jovial patronization. If you can't laugh at yourself....

Nah but I feel you. I've been an old man at heart since I was little, according to my family. It's no wonder I get along much better with men a generation or two before me. Old soul.

I think daddy is more a look than an age, but I'd be hard pressed to find someone who qualifies as a 'daddy' in their 20s. It's a little more than just a mindset. Us old souls aren't quite there yet.

I'd call anybody with kids a daddy. For me, the attraction to daddies isn't so much that the dude is old, it's that he has kids- maybe a wife or hubby. He's got some experience. I don't think you have to be old to be a daddy.

maybe to someone in their teens; in my late 20's, I couldn't imagine considering someone in their 30's as a "daddy," though.

It's more about the person than the age, to me, though clearly there's an aspect of age in there too.

When I was in my teens I was very deeply into a lot of older men, who at the time would have been in their late 30's. I'm older now than they were then, but the imprint on me is still that they're older men.

Chris Rockway is someone who seems very "daddy" to me even though he's relatively quite young.

In theory a young 20 yo can be a daddy too, therefore i am assuming a real daddy has more experience...a silver daddy is the top

I think whether or not you would consider a man was a daddy in his 30s would depend if he was actually a father. Because hot damn I've seen some sexy late 30s dads.

Yes, In my teens and early 20s I was always attracted to Men in their 30s onwards--I would consider them Daddies. Now Im nearly 50, I find sometimes, some attraction towards me from young guys, so Im the daddy now!

    In their 30s??? LOL!!!

I'm 33, but I'd still consider me a twink or sth.(I'll never get these terms right.). Anyway, it'll still be a long, long road till I'm a daddy.
What a pity, as they're the best-looking creatures on earth...

Starting from 55, in rare cases 45, they're daddies for me.

    Now, THIS is a daddy!!!

I was recently told I was an 'older man'. I'm 26. Also the youngest of my group so it was fairly odd.

Sometimes I find that some of the "daddies" that get posted here are more along the lines of "grandaddies" and that's much less hot to me than a genuine daddy.

maybe when you're hitting very late 30s you can be classed as a daddy, but it's still very young.
