They should, pre rendered backgrounds plus the obvious new graphics would be amazing. But heres the problem, that technology is considered (outdated) and they wouldnt make a game with that graphics engine as a full-fledged retail disc. Dip Shits at Capcom would probably be brain dead enough to use RE6's engine, this making it an over-the-shoulder perspective game, which would be a disaster. I dont even look to capcom for survival horror anymore, PC gaming is really where survival horror still exists.

Hey Poozy you remember this right? Really this is my favorite boss theme out of any video game

>> Hey, Silent Hill 3 can scare me to the point where im uncomfortable even today. We all got our timeless games that we always love and are afraid of lol. You ever play this though? Its like a fad thing right now and its a free game
I saw someone playing this in my lab before. Freaked me out a little.
Nice piece of music.![]()
Somehow I find myself playing WoW again.
They introduced pandas! How could I not?
Hey guys!
Just wanted to let you know that a new project aims to bring together all the LGBT players of Europe in World of Warcraft into a single massive guild. Visit their guild blog here:
http://wowlgbt.wordpress.com/
The project is for both LGBT players and those friendly to those players. It's all about being able to play without suffering the OMG reactuions you sometimes get for talking about your boyfriend when you are a man yourself![]()
I hope to see you there![]()
Man, I just watched a review of Hitman Absolution on gametrailers and 2 of the criticisms was that you lost points for killing people that weren't your targets and having patience.![]()
^Proves to me that no one wants a shooter with something that comes close to "realism", they just wanna shoot everything that moves.
Then again, maybe the criticism is because they changed the formula of the Hitman series? I don't know, never played those games.
"Being right never felt so wrong -
We must deceive to belong..."
From the looks of it and from what I've read it doesn't seem like they changed up that much, I don't know. Just seems really dumb in general to criticize a stealth assassin game penalizing you for killing random people and wanting you to be patient.
Ugh, modern gamers are such babies now. I look back fondly on GoldenEye007, which is a universal classic, and on quite a few missions, an objective would be "minimize scientist/civilian casualties". Not an active objective but one that made you cautious of your actions. I still remember the evilness that was the Caverns and that control room with the explosives, scientists and enemies. Miss the enemy mastering over the scientists and you hit the explosives, killing them all and the computers so you fail 3 objectives at once. Even the sequence of events was tough. Kill the guards, rescue the scientists, access the computers, retrieve something from a safe and then blow the computers up. Sucked that said room was the second to last one on that long level (target time was 9:30). Now I understand why I am less and less enjoying modern gaming.
As much as I like video games and want them to have recognition to some to extent, yeah modern gaming/gamer tropes really tend to make me want to pull my hair out.
I was looking for Rogue like games yesterday because it's a genre I never really played too much of before. I want to grab Binding of Issac but as cheap as it probably is I don't have the money to spend for it. I downloaded DoomRL and am having a really good time with it.
ZombiU I have liked and enjoyed some of the footage I've seen of it. Even though I hate the zombie trend a lot, it actually looks like a bit of a real survival horror game that has hit consoles. And ironically enough seems to have a bit of a rogue-like mechanic to it as well.
Finally got around to playing Mega Man 9 for the first time on my PS3 and it totally kicked my ass. I'm pretty good at all the other games in the classic series but this one will take some practice.
Haven't gotten the new Paper Mario game yet but I hear it's not as dark as the last two were.
Just played the DmC demo that is on xbox live and should be on psn too. I dug it and I am a fan of the previous games, I mean I am not a "expert" when it comes to the series where people beat it on the hardest difficult and know all the technicalities of combat, but it felt good to me. Fluid and not hard to get a handle on but seems like it will be a game that rewards people who really dig into it.
The game looks good and Dante comes off like he has always came off to me through the series, but I guess that is debatable to some people. So my impressions are good and I will probably be playing this demo a lot in anticipation of the full release.
Playing Son Of Sparta mode on this demo makes me crave this game even more. Also it is funny how people complain about new Dante being immature and "trying to be cool." I am confused if they actually paid attention to the Dante in 1-4, because if that wasn't an immature character trying to "be cool" in a cocky bro kind of way, I really don't know what was.

For all the guys talking about Hitman: Absolution, I really thought Contracts was awesome. Anybody remember the rave party held at a meat processing plant where you had to kill a 400 lb target?

Mass Effect series anyone?
I just bought Halo 4 yesterday and I love it! It may be the best Halo game I've ever played! It's a shame they reduced the amount of blood though.
Previously I played Dishonored which I DESPISED! It's such an infuriating game! It won't let you do anything! It gives you amazing abilities on the condition that you never use them!
Kickin it old school with Baten Kaitos origins for the gamecube! (Bonus for anyone whose played it)

For some reason I decided to play a Sonic only S&K3 game at my bro's house today. Gotta love the classics.
Replaying Paper Mario TTYD. Excluding the backtracking at certain points, its a game that I'll probably never get tired of playing. Also being able to not ragequit when trying to complete the Pit of 100 trials is something I look forward to doing again.

I know tell me about it. I mean the Creepy Steeple chapter was one of the worst offenders in the game, that and completing the troubles, and searching for General White twice.
I haven't gotten around to finishing up the Wii Paper Mario though I thought that one was a real stinker probably why I was never fully engaged into it.

Just bought Assassin's Creed 3 Deluxe on Steam. Let me get through the first God awful two hours of bullshit.
Hello
I really don't post here often enough and now I feel like i'm just shamelessly promoting this, but there is a kickstarter project currently running for this thing called LA game space. Here some spiel about it.
I just thought I would share it with some gamers because I think it sounds like cool idea, it could really benefit from just being known more and also it has great rewards for backing. We are creating a place for discovering the potential of video games. The Space is in Los Angeles, but everyone online will be able to participate in our talks, workshops, and exhibitions. All of our programs are open to anyone in the world.
LA Game Space is a nonprofit center for videogame art, design, and research. It is a place for game innovation, education, and exhibition; where all of us can play and make and study and showcase games.
Thanks for taking the time if you read this

Finally beat AC III. Still not sure how I feel about the ending. Not disappointed, but hoped for a little more payoff after slogging through 5 games. Still liked the game though. Just have 2 or 3 more trophies to earn in order to get Platinum.
Maxpower won't be proud of me.But I have been playing The Old Republic. My roommate installed a video card into my computer that he wasn't using anymore and I started playing it. I am enjoying my time with it, for what it is.
Also the best part about this, is that I can play some of the PC games that I bought that I wasn't able to play before because of my video card being complete crap. I am definitely planning to beef up my computer now when extra money comes in. The steam sale over black friday and having no money really made me a Sad Panda on all good games that I could have.![]()
Who likes the Onimusha series?
My Youtube Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/scissormon if you like video games, might be worth a look
Same here. Although I was so tempted to read Ghost T's diary though, but I'm glad I didn't since I don't think I'd saved for quite a while until then.
I had all kinds of problems with the final boss during my first playthrough. Up until then I mainly relied on items like Boo Sheets, Thunderbolts, and star power upgrades but all of those went straight out the window since its a very long battle. All I know is getting the strange sack from the pit will make your life so much easier in the later stages.
I played the first two games way back when they first came out and thought they were pretty good for a hack and slasher.Who likes the Onimusha series?
