Agreed. $5 each for Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath? $1 or $2 would be a much more reasonable price, IMO.

I though AC I was OK, but AC II kicked ass. I just finished AC Brotherhood recently- it was great, but the ending led to more questions than answers. Hopefully AC III will fill in the gaps.

PS- Anyone out there with Rock Band 3 on the PS3? I have an assload of new songs from The Police, Depeche Mode, Queen & Lady Gaga, and I'd love to play online co-op. Just friend "FuryOfFirestorm" on the PS Network.

I'm more of a competitive fps gamer than anything. A massively nerdy one at that

I played Counter-Strike 1.6 for many years, I was actually in a team sponsored by SteelSeries; I played in leagues and tournaments etc. Playing at a 'professional level' took too much time and practice though, it got quite tiresome and I stopped playing it a few years ago when the scene started to die down.

As far as other games go, I've never really kept up with the 'latest releases'. I'll play older games like Golden Sun, Crash Team Racing, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy (VII/X), Metroid, Banjo Kazooie etc. occasionally, but the newer releases never appeal to me, aside from Starcraft2 and MK9 (which was refused classification in Australia ).

I played World of Goo a long long time ago on the Wii, beat it and haven't really played it since.

You probably played the PC version with the cock add-on, I remember they made chairs where your Sim can fuck other Sims and Sims that can jerk off and cum.

I can't really enjoy Sims 3 cause they took away a lot of the expansion packs. So I'm here waiting until they release a pets expansion for Sims 3 but only keep hearing these stupid games they keep coming out with.

They said a full day or two days for it to come back. But I can still use Netflix and play video games so that's good! They better freaking make a huge update just because of this outage of theirs.

Hi everyone. I've always been into rpg games but occasionally I try others.

I lately got my hands on the original suikoden game and just finished it today. A friend lent me Suikoden 2 once and I really enjoyed it, kept u with the series since. Now I've started Wild Arms.

As for what I'm looking forward to, Dynasty Warriors 7, I'll be buying it sometime next week.

I think it's pretty good. Enjoying the new characters and weapons. Only bad thing atm is the story mode. It's one long go and you can't choose who to play as. Aside from that it's pretty good so far.

@Vivi29: Maybe when you get it we could play together sometime.

I was reading, i can't remember exactly where though...either Ars Technica or Joy Stiq, that the main reason PSN may be down is because of a cfw for the PS3. Apparently while running this cfw you can log into dev accounts and transfer funds of other peoples into your own, pretty much letting you download games for free. If true, which I'm not sure if it is, don't expect PSN to be back up until they can patch the PS3...

    Anyway, been playing:

    Dissidia Duodecim
    Breath of Fire 3
    Kingdom Hearts: BBS
and still playing Phantasy Star Portable 2...but since it's more of an online game than single player it's pretty dull to play by myself .

P.S. Is Phantasy Star Zero for the DS any good? Been thinking of getting it but want some opinions on it first.

What do you think of Dark Dawn so far?! (what part are you up to?!) I thought it was okay, definitely not as enjoyable as The Lost Age (probably my favorite game ever, most certainly my favorite RPG) -- Have you played GS1 and/or 2?

In story modee, the characters are chosen and you play as them for the stage. For instance, the first stage of the Wei story makes you play Xaihou Dun then Cao Cao I believe and so on like that. But it's not like other games where you choose a person then play stages that are relevant to them.

Same here, I like that it gives relevent characters, but there are some I really dislike playing as. Like Zhou Yun and Guan Yu. My top three favs are so far: Zhuge Liang, Huang Zhong, and Ding Feng.

Well I've done the Shu and Wu story modes (Told you I have a lot of free time)
I liked Huang Zhong too, I've always liked Pang Tong though he's not the best fighter. I'd say Sun Ce and Huang Gai are my favourites from Wu.

It's really bugging me that I don't know anything about Bao Sanning (Or however her name is spelt) as she didn't appear in the story mode, not the Shu one anyway.

He is expected to go into detail about what has been happening behind the scenes, including what actually happened, who was behind the intrusion and the schedule to resume service which according the PSBlog is less than a week.

This has to be the worst video game media coverage in history. Countless news sites and channels reporting that credit card details have been stolen and people have been reporting credit card fraud across the globe. When Sony, several credit card companies including Visa and global banks have reported not a single case of credit card fraud has occurred.

Whoever did this did not do it because they wanted credit card details, it was purely to embarrass Sony. Whoever is holding onto all 77 Million account details will more than likely do nothing with them.

The hackers chat log that leaked several days ago goes into detail about this is all to prove that several sections of the network are not encrypted.

Actually that indeed is true, it seems to have slipped under the radar a bit but prior to the Network being turned off (about 2 days before) A Final Fantasy game on the store had it's price changed to free. This was the hacker inside the network before he started to download the account details, basically he was just exploiting the FW Bug. Sony should have turned off the Network at that point, i hope at the conference Hiari explains why his presence in the network wasn't picked up.

I just bought Portal 2 on Steam and downloading now. It's not often I will pay full price for a game. But the original was one of my all-time favorites. Hopefully I will be happy with my purchase.

Now that I have quit WoW, I feel like I should just turn in all my imaginary achievement points for something.

With that addiction gone now, I actually went back to some nostalgia and am playing Legend of Zelda: OoT Master Quest on my Gamecube. I never got the chance to beat it WAY back when it came out due to some glitch where I couldn't get one of the silver rupees in the Fire room in Ganon's Castle. Here's hoping I don't encounter it again.

Sometime towards the end of 2011 (Q4), an exact date hasn't been given yet.

I beat Dark Dawn the day after it came out lol I have all 3 games and Lost Age is the best imo. GS1 is classic though ^_^ Dark Dawn is a new beginning. It's been 7yrs since Lost Age and this is geared more towards the younger generation I think but it's pretty dark. I mean General Brothers were decapitated by the Eclipse monsters as well as a few other things that happened during the Eclipse. Blados and Chalis were disappointing bosses and the Chaos Chimera was a joke compared to Doom Dragon and even Fusion Dragon. Hell Deadbeard was better.lol But they did upgrade Dullahan! Fuluminious Edge is godly lol After the Eclipse they spoon feed you Exp so lv 99 is attainable without a password haha. The puzzles were annoying rather than difficult because of how long it took to complete them (note I said complete not figure out lol) I do like the upgraded graphics and what they did with the summons. I'd have liked some more new ones. Crystallux was cool though. I wanted to see some Dark Psyenergy and Alex is an enigma as usual. I could have sworn he was evil. I'm sure he is but they need to stop playing mind games haha. I was also disappointed that the Tua Warriors gave you water of life and a shitload of exp after every battle. They could at least be mini bosses with some cool moves or something. I must admit I was expecting a lot more from Dark Dawn. But as a Golden Sun fan I enjoyed it despite of it's short comings. Sorry for the long rant. It'd be longer but I must show restraint haha Nice to see a fellow Golden Sun fan!

It's really bugging me that I don't know anything about Bao Sanning (Or however her name is spelt) as she didn't appear in the story mode, not the Shu one anyway.
I think she's a totally made up character like Pang De was. I dunno why but I cannot stand her. I myself am currently working on finishing the conquest hexes.

Yeah, it took me about a week to finish Dark Dawn, but only because I kept forcing myself not to play it too much, I didn't want to have to wait another 7 years for the next installment. In retrospect that makes no sense because 1 week makes no difference

It really did feel more 'child-friendly' than the GBA counterparts, something Nintendo is 'infamous' for. The puzzles were exceptionally easy, and sometimes the dialogue dragged on a little too long to explain simple things to people who might not 'pick them up' so easily. I can kind of understand why though, it's been so long since The Lost Age was released, and a lot of people will just be hearing about GS through Dark Dawn, so they had to cater to those who don't know the game. That being said, it was incredibly frustrating to be spoon fed for the entire game

Blados and Chalis were a massive disappointment for me, too. They had nothing on Saturos/Menardi or Agatio/Karst (my favorite boss' [I still occasionally play battle mode on TLA just to play against them]). I wasn't sure if it was just because of my awareness of classes and whatnot, but the bosses all felt incredibly easy compared to TLA. I remember struggling to take down the Doom Dragon on GS2 at lv45 the first time I played through. I didn't struggle at all against Blados / Chalis and the Chaos Chimera.

I didn't take any notice of summons. Summon rushing always feels so cheap so I never really utilize them. I used them all once or twice just to see how they looked, but that was pretty much it. Plus, they pretty much used the exact same summons as the previous games, I really hope they mix it up next time.

Psynergy was as usual a disappointment, it seems its only use is to buff (high impact / pure wish / weapon grace). I hope they nerf unleashes a little bit in the next installment, and buff attack psynergy. The only spell worthwhile was Himi's dragon psynergy; but even then you're better off equipping her with a Tisiphone Edge, weapon gracing yourself and hoping for a 3x unleash....Similar to The Lost Age, by end game it's just buff, unleash, repeat; and heal when necessary.

Dullahan was a bit of a challenge, though I farmed Tisiphone Edge's etc. before facing him, by the time I had decent equipment, everyone was mid 50s and even after being Djinn Stormed I was able to stay alive and take him down.

Svetta's beast form was overpowered, too. Her HP would skyrocket and so too would her defense. Her dealing over 1k damage with just attacking was a bit too much as well. By endgame even the Chaos Chimera couldn't do any adequate damage to her.

I really like Alex as a character, but I think in terms of 'the good guys' versus 'the bad guys', he is neither. At the end of TLA when it revealed his intention to become all powerful by absorbing the energy from the Golden Sun atop Mt.Aleph, it removed a lot of his mystery for me. His using Agatio/Karst was very much mirrored with Blados/Chalis also, so I think despite him having a new plan; again, he is certainly doing it to benefit himself more than anybody else.

Yeah, the experience the Tua Warriors gave was excessive. If by the off chance someone was having trouble with the Chaos Chimera (I have no idea how that would be possible), they could spend 5 minutes grinding and gain 5+ levels.

I was really impressed by the puzzles at the end of the Apollo Ascent, though. Particularly to open up that last gate. Not because they were difficult, but I thought they were really creatively done and I actually found myself saying 'wow' at one point.

I too was a little let down by Dark Dawn, but I still enjoyed it. I liked how it started from a small side quest and deviated into much more. I found that just as I had completely forgotten about the psynergy vortexes, one would appear and it would remind me that there's 'another story' to focus on, and it kept me waiting to see what they were all about. Though admittedly, I was disappointed when I never really got much information about them even when the game ended. It gives me more to look forward to, I suppose; much like dark psynergy. I'm really hoping they don't let me down with that.

Wow, long rant, sorry but I've never spoken to a fellow Golden Sun fan before

Only thing I've played on it for more than 20hrs is Heavy Rain, and FF13.

Vanquish looks really cool, I wanna buy it as I was a big PN.0.3 fan on the GameCube.

I feel bad that they are so expensive. That's why I usually just buy games used, they are in better condition like a brand new game since the discs are hard to scratch.

I rent my games by mail with Blockbuster. $15 a month gets me unlimited rentals, 2 at a time. Much cheaper than buying a game, since I finish them in a few days anyway.

If there isn't anything like that or Gamefly in Australia, try swapping with other people on the net. There are several sites on the net that facilitate game trades, for free or a small fee.
