I try and play games when i can. I really like the Tales series. like Tales of Symphonia or NGC, but i also am really liking Assassins Creed
PS- Anyone out there with Rock Band 3 on the PS3? I have an assload of new songs from The Police, Depeche Mode, Queen & Lady Gaga, and I'd love to play online co-op. Just friend "FuryOfFirestorm" on the PS Network.
Dont know if I should try bayonetta, how is it?
Also hows everyone doing these days? What have ya beat and what are ya playing these days?
I'm more of a competitive fps gamer than anything. A massively nerdy one at that
I played Counter-Strike 1.6 for many years, I was actually in a team sponsored by SteelSeries; I played in leagues and tournaments etc. Playing at a 'professional level' took too much time and practice though, it got quite tiresome and I stopped playing it a few years ago when the scene started to die down.
As far as other games go, I've never really kept up with the 'latest releases'. I'll play older games like Golden Sun, Crash Team Racing, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy (VII/X), Metroid, Banjo Kazooie etc. occasionally, but the newer releases never appeal to me, aside from Starcraft2 and MK9 (which was refused classification in Australia ).
Let's see the games I'm currently playing are:
Dynasty Warriors 7 Ps3 (been waiting forever)
Fire Emblem The shadow Dragon on Ds
White Knight Chronicles
Oh and looking forward to getting Final Fantasy 4 CC on psp in the near future!
You probably played the PC version with the cock add-on, I remember they made chairs where your Sim can fuck other Sims and Sims that can jerk off and cum.
I can't really enjoy Sims 3 cause they took away a lot of the expansion packs. So I'm here waiting until they release a pets expansion for Sims 3 but only keep hearing these stupid games they keep coming out with.
Hi everyone. I've always been into rpg games but occasionally I try others.
I lately got my hands on the original suikoden game and just finished it today. A friend lent me Suikoden 2 once and I really enjoyed it, kept u with the series since. Now I've started Wild Arms.
As for what I'm looking forward to, Dynasty Warriors 7, I'll be buying it sometime next week.
I'm playing MK Golden Sun Dark Dawn and the Gears of War 3 Beta! And Naruto Storm 2, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Rock Band 3 and Borderlands! I have a lot of work to do...I can't wait until this semester is OVER! lol
Just looked further back in the forum,
How's Dynasty Warriors looking Sinestro?
"I'm just a pretty little thing that'll make you wanna sing"...Sugababes "Wear My Kiss"
my place http://www.justusboys.com/members/phoenix72
@Sinestro, definitely. You can't choose who to play as?
@Gamerbear I have a PS3, but I'm away from home at the moment so I haven't had a chance to notice the network being down yet.
Just beat Dragon Age 2, and am an avid World of Warcraft player.
Anyway, been playing:
Breath of Fire 3
Kingdom Hearts: BBS
and still playing Phantasy Star Portable 2...but since it's more of an online game than single player it's pretty dull to play by myself .
P.S. Is Phantasy Star Zero for the DS any good? Been thinking of getting it but want some opinions on it first.
I finished Dragon Age 2 recently, and I played Golden Sun: Dark Dawn about a month ago. (I have far too much free time)
@Sinestro, I got Dynasty Warriors! Liking it so far, I'm in two minds about the not picking your characters thing.
I liked Huang Zhong too, I've always liked Pang Tong though he's not the best fighter. I'd say Sun Ce and Huang Gai are my favourites from Wu.
It's really bugging me that I don't know anything about Bao Sanning (Or however her name is spelt) as she didn't appear in the story mode, not the Shu one anyway.
He is expected to go into detail about what has been happening behind the scenes, including what actually happened, who was behind the intrusion and the schedule to resume service which according the PSBlog is less than a week.
This has to be the worst video game media coverage in history. Countless news sites and channels reporting that credit card details have been stolen and people have been reporting credit card fraud across the globe. When Sony, several credit card companies including Visa and global banks have reported not a single case of credit card fraud has occurred.
Whoever did this did not do it because they wanted credit card details, it was purely to embarrass Sony. Whoever is holding onto all 77 Million account details will more than likely do nothing with them.
The hackers chat log that leaked several days ago goes into detail about this is all to prove that several sections of the network are not encrypted.
I have every console apart from PSP (no games that i really like)
I play mostly pokemon and portal 2. But I will get dynasty warriors 7 when my exams finished, i have loved them ever since 2 on the PS2
I just bought Portal 2 on Steam and downloading now. It's not often I will pay full price for a game. But the original was one of my all-time favorites. Hopefully I will be happy with my purchase.
does anyone know when mass effect 3 is due out. it was on the cover of one of the gaming mags recently.
Now that I have quit WoW, I feel like I should just turn in all my imaginary achievement points for something.
With that addiction gone now, I actually went back to some nostalgia and am playing Legend of Zelda: OoT Master Quest on my Gamecube. I never got the chance to beat it WAY back when it came out due to some glitch where I couldn't get one of the silver rupees in the Fire room in Ganon's Castle. Here's hoping I don't encounter it again.
It really did feel more 'child-friendly' than the GBA counterparts, something Nintendo is 'infamous' for. The puzzles were exceptionally easy, and sometimes the dialogue dragged on a little too long to explain simple things to people who might not 'pick them up' so easily. I can kind of understand why though, it's been so long since The Lost Age was released, and a lot of people will just be hearing about GS through Dark Dawn, so they had to cater to those who don't know the game. That being said, it was incredibly frustrating to be spoon fed for the entire game
Blados and Chalis were a massive disappointment for me, too. They had nothing on Saturos/Menardi or Agatio/Karst (my favorite boss' [I still occasionally play battle mode on TLA just to play against them]). I wasn't sure if it was just because of my awareness of classes and whatnot, but the bosses all felt incredibly easy compared to TLA. I remember struggling to take down the Doom Dragon on GS2 at lv45 the first time I played through. I didn't struggle at all against Blados / Chalis and the Chaos Chimera.
I didn't take any notice of summons. Summon rushing always feels so cheap so I never really utilize them. I used them all once or twice just to see how they looked, but that was pretty much it. Plus, they pretty much used the exact same summons as the previous games, I really hope they mix it up next time.
Psynergy was as usual a disappointment, it seems its only use is to buff (high impact / pure wish / weapon grace). I hope they nerf unleashes a little bit in the next installment, and buff attack psynergy. The only spell worthwhile was Himi's dragon psynergy; but even then you're better off equipping her with a Tisiphone Edge, weapon gracing yourself and hoping for a 3x unleash....Similar to The Lost Age, by end game it's just buff, unleash, repeat; and heal when necessary.
Dullahan was a bit of a challenge, though I farmed Tisiphone Edge's etc. before facing him, by the time I had decent equipment, everyone was mid 50s and even after being Djinn Stormed I was able to stay alive and take him down.
Svetta's beast form was overpowered, too. Her HP would skyrocket and so too would her defense. Her dealing over 1k damage with just attacking was a bit too much as well. By endgame even the Chaos Chimera couldn't do any adequate damage to her.
I really like Alex as a character, but I think in terms of 'the good guys' versus 'the bad guys', he is neither. At the end of TLA when it revealed his intention to become all powerful by absorbing the energy from the Golden Sun atop Mt.Aleph, it removed a lot of his mystery for me. His using Agatio/Karst was very much mirrored with Blados/Chalis also, so I think despite him having a new plan; again, he is certainly doing it to benefit himself more than anybody else.
Yeah, the experience the Tua Warriors gave was excessive. If by the off chance someone was having trouble with the Chaos Chimera (I have no idea how that would be possible), they could spend 5 minutes grinding and gain 5+ levels.
I was really impressed by the puzzles at the end of the Apollo Ascent, though. Particularly to open up that last gate. Not because they were difficult, but I thought they were really creatively done and I actually found myself saying 'wow' at one point.
I too was a little let down by Dark Dawn, but I still enjoyed it. I liked how it started from a small side quest and deviated into much more. I found that just as I had completely forgotten about the psynergy vortexes, one would appear and it would remind me that there's 'another story' to focus on, and it kept me waiting to see what they were all about. Though admittedly, I was disappointed when I never really got much information about them even when the game ended. It gives me more to look forward to, I suppose; much like dark psynergy. I'm really hoping they don't let me down with that.
Wow, long rant, sorry but I've never spoken to a fellow Golden Sun fan before
Only thing I've played on it for more than 20hrs is Heavy Rain, and FF13.
Vanquish looks really cool, I wanna buy it as I was a big PN.0.3 fan on the GameCube.
If there isn't anything like that or Gamefly in Australia, try swapping with other people on the net. There are several sites on the net that facilitate game trades, for free or a small fee.
