She looks so good! Teaser #5
She looks so good! Teaser #5
Anyway, whatever. It's set for release now, soNEW YORK (Billboard) - Britney Spears' new album is slated for a March 15 release, according to a leaked one-sheet created by her label Jive Records that outlines the marketing campaign for the set. Jive confirmed to MTV News that the date listed on the sheet is accurate.
She's working on a song with Will.I.Am, she tweeted this:
A song with Will.I.Am?? That's gonna be awesome. In the studio with @iamwill…you guys are gonna love this one. - Britney
And the video will come out:
I like that she's expanding and working with different producers. She's been working for the past 2 years on this thing and still going at it so I think she really wants it to be the best it can be. She' been in and out of dance and recording studios pretty much non stop since december so I think we've got something pretty awesome to look forward to.
I thought it was kind of funny that everyone was going on about "OMG Britney's doing dubstep!" with Hold It Against Me, when she's already done it, on "Freakshow" from Blackout...
I ended up writing a pair of posts about dubstep, one on Britney and one on Ke$ha because Ke$ha has an unreleased track that's SICK and I couldnt pass up the opportunity.
That said, Femme Fatale better be off the hook
I never really listened to her that much before, so I'm pretty ignorant towards most of what she has done. One of the reasons I do like this song is because of the incorporation of dubstep. I'll have to check out that song as well, though.
The release date was going to be the 15th of March, but it was never formally announced by the label. It was information that got leaked to the press. Jive just confirmed that the information was true. The first time the album was ever formally announced was yesterday. So, the release date didn't get pushed back or anything, because it was never supposed to be announced in the first place.
I am looking forward to the album, though. I have been a Britney fan since Day 1 in 1998!! "Crazy" is the video that turned me into an official fan:
Britney is the only pop artist I've ever actually really liked !
What has she been up to since the Circus tour ??
New bath pictures up right now

when I read this it sure makes me think all those critics who say Britney is not involved in her projects are right...
Spears Album 'Not Done' Yet, Says Dr. Luke
"Femme Fatale," Britney Spears' seventh studio album, has a lead single that has topped the Hot 100, official album artwork, and a Mar. 15 release date that is slowly approaching. However, executive producer Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, tells Rolling Stone that he and a band of A-list producers are still finalizing the follow-up to 2008's "Circus."
"It's not done," says Dr. Luke, who helmed lead single "Hold It Against Me" along with the album's co-executive producer Max Martin and Billboard (who is a producer). "We're in the middle of it right now. It's a little bit fluid right now. I can't even say at this stage what songs for sure are making it and what songs aren't. We're working with a lot of producers and overseeing it with her A&R and record label and management and trying to make something cohesive."
The producer confirmed that he and Martin will be involved with several songs on "Fatale," while "Toxic" co-producer Bloodshy and "Circus" co-producer Benny Blanco will also contribute production to the record. Spears announced the title and revealed the album artwork to "Fatale" on Wednesday (Feb. 2), writing on Twitter, "This album is for you, my fans, who have always supported me and have stuck by me every step of the way! I love you all!"
Dr. Luke also revealed that "Hold It Against Me," Spears' latest single which slips to No. 8 on this week's Hot 100, might have never been hers to sing -- fellow female pop star Katy Perry was originally considered to handle the vocals.
"We might have played it for her, but it definitely wasn't a Katy Perry record," Dr. Luke says. "We had it for a while. I wanted to make sure it didn't sound like everything else I've done. I brought it into Billboard, and he just killed it. It can be hard in the verse, and the bridge is super, super hard, but the chorus is super-pop. You can play that chorus acoustically on a guitar and it's still going to sound great."
Britney Twitter Q&A Today!
The thing that bothers me is what appears to be the fact that her manager is sending out tweets on her twitter and signing them with her name. Britney's tweets, at least the ones that I feel are actually coming directly from her own fingers, are always personable and sweet and she signs them -Brit.
This one signed -Britney for example.
^I don't believe for one second that Britney would ever make such a "robotic" tweet as that! Yet it's signed -Britney. Come on!
This one is signed -Brit
^It's personable and sweet. It's Britney! Or is it? See, that's the problem!
I can't wait for the next teaser! This video will be the best!
Also, this Q and A is going to be interesting. I hope she talks about the video and if she will tour.
There is nothing like seeing Britney live with hundreds of other fans!!!
I love the teasers
if i said i want your body now, would you hold it against me...
Will.I.Am said he saw her tweeting in the studio. I mean I think of course sometimes her tweets come from management but I also think she tweets a lot too. I'm excited for this q and a. I can't wait to see what good information we're gonna get about tour, promo, and the album!
BTW Brit during the q and a just tweeted she loves Gaga and thinks she's a very interesting artist. Can we stop the brit/gaga war now?
Britney VS Britney
It's Midnight on the East Coast.
It's OVAH Britney!
Teaser #8 supposedly leaked early
Teaser #8 is the best so far guys
I'm so excited
Cant wait for the CD to come out.
Aw Britney, what's your thread doing all the way down here? Come, let TD fix it.
Some highlights of the Twitter Q&A.
Well that's that.will you YOURSELF give us an answer about the Grammy rumor? (from @themrspears) I won't be there and was never planning on going.
So as not to be accused of thread/forum dragging, I won't give the actual name of the site.
I went over to Brit's BH forum for the 1st time, just heard about it the other day, and right in Brit's main subforum, a thread had been started telling the other members to tweet "freebornthisway" and provide a link to the free download. That's what they're doing over there! And thread after thread, post after post of the most delusional crap ever written on the web! lol
Here's my favorite quote! It's a fuckin jewel, I promise! I almost pissed myself from laughing!
^It leaves you speechless, doesn't it? As if! LOLBritney shall boycott Vogue
They're obviously pressed cause Brit Brit probably declined doing their cover, and they had to settle with the lesser being, Lady GaGa.
BreatheHeavy is a bunch of psychos that give Britney fans a bad name. If you want a true fansite/forum for all things Britney, visit BMK which is short for BadMediaKarma forum.
Looking forward to the new teaser tomorrow and the music video this upcoming week.
It's really really annoying. You can't have a legit conversation on there.
Back in the day I used to go to Pop Prodigy and everyone there was really nice but that forum has since disappeared.
I think a lot of it has to do with the webmaster over there. He totally fuels the immature attitude. I don't really trust him because apparently he had connections with Sam Lutfi (the guy controlling Britney back in 06-07).
Hold It Against Me
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Hold It Against Me" is a song by American recording artist Britney Spears. It was released as the first single from her upcoming seventh studio album, Femme Fatale. "Hold It Against Me" was written by Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Bonnie McKee and Billboard, while being produced by Luke, Martin and Billboard. After a demo version of the song performed by McKee was leaked, the finished version premiered on January 10, 2011. Musically, "Hold It Against Me" features industrial beats, a dubstep-influenced breakdown and a final chorus with elements of rave. The lyrics portray the singer seducing someone on the dancefloor, while the chorus revolves around pick-up lines.
Most reviewers praised the song, although some criticized its lyrical content. "Hold It Against Me" has become a commercial success, debuting at number one in Belgium Wallonia, Canada, Denmark, Finland and New Zealand, as well as on the US Billboard Hot 100, where it became her fourth chart topper. In the United States, "Hold It Against Me" made Spears the second artist in Billboard's history to debut at number one more than once, behind Mariah Carey. The feat also made her the third female artist to ever score no. 1 singles in three consecutive decades and only the seventh artist ever to accomplish such a feat. Additionally, the single has charted in the top ten in countries such as Australia, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Finland and the United Kingdom. An accompanying music video for the song is set to be released on February 17, 2011
I'm so pumped for the music video
I look 4ward to the video too! I just wonder if there were too many teasers? Teaser #10 was just teaser #1 from a different angle. IMO, at this rate, we'll have seen so much of the video 4 there to be any surprises come the 17th.
A survey from Orange County’s Equality Project asked 1,000 gay men all over Southern California who is the greatest Gay icon. Britney Spears won the poll with 31 percent of the vote. “Britney Spears is a genuine Gay icon, says Equality Project’s Joel Waddell. She is genuine in her affection for us and doesn’t need to exploit us as a marketing tool like some other current Madonna-like icon."
Speaking of Madonna, she came in second with 25 percent of the vote. “When Madonna puts out a new album, she will be on top again. Madonna is the greatest icon the Gay community has ever had,” says Mr. Waddell. He isn’t happy with the fact Lady Gaga came in third with 22 percent of the vote.
“Lady Gaga is a talentless scam artist. She is to the Gay community what Hitler was to Germany—completely destructive. He is a little bit more enthusiastic about Katy Perry, who earned 12 percent of the vote. Other names mentioned include Perez Hilton, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Cher.

Uhh, really? That is a bit over dramatic and sounds really biased against her to begin with. I can totally get why you don't see her as an icon, but damn that is just plain wrong. A person who got up on a stage and spoke to crowds of people about the wrongs of DADT makes her similar Hitler?“Lady Gaga is a talentless scam artist. She is to the Gay community what Hitler was to Germany
Gaga actually throws out labels left and right, which isn't necessarily good. Gaga will thank her "Gay fans" while Britney will just thank her "fans". Sometimes labels are good, sometimes they are not.
I never understood where people got the idea that Gaga just caters to the 'fem' crowd amongst crowds. But, I will take this discussion to another thread.
Poor Britney's just a puppet for the Jive Label. Her heart and soul are not in it now. I feel sorry for her fans! They're so dedicated. Look at how much of her time she gave them on the twitter Q&A, when the Q&A was the reward for her fans WW if they tweeted their little idle hearts out during the SuperBowl? "Let the question's rip!"...................."Gotta go now, ya'll, busy day!" SMH!
30 second sneak peak of the video! Haters shut up. Utterly epic
LOL Aight...I gotta break this fucker down into smaller quotes!...else I'll go cross-eyed trying to respond to everything in it! O.o LOL
I just found it strange that you felt the need to post (of all the new articles that are likely out there on Britney right now), an article on a survey from Orange County’s Equality Project? Orange County? And then with a Gaga/Hitler comparison conveniently in it? Coincidence?
Comparing Gaga to Hitler?! HITLER?! The man responsible for the murder of millions of innocent people is justifiable? That's the craziest thing I've ever heard! Unless what ya'll mean is, Hitler gave Germany a bad name, and Gaga gives the gay community a bad name? That would be arguable, though I would disagree and say it's just the insecure gay man afraid of being "loud and proud" or a Gaga hater just being a cunt!
The first few days after teaser #1 was premiered, there was allot of excitement from the Britney fan club. Now I read comment on youtube, from people with usernames like "BritneyFanForever" saying the dancing looks kinda boring. I know most of you are still very excited, but not as much as you were say 9 days ago. I would have started with the teasers on the 14th, and then premiere one each of the following days leading up to the 17th.
Christina fumble the lyrics to SSB in front of millions around the world, and a week later was opening the Grammys (where she fell on stage @ the end of their performance). You just have to pick yourself up and keep going. Why should Britney be any different. She should want to do anything to please her loyal fans.
I'm fucking obsessed with 'Express Yourself' and 'Born This way'! I have the Live BTW Grammy performance and Express Yourself on repeat on my iPod as I type! LOL
"Put your love tooo the test!" <----Love that part! Whooooo!
